Pei Xi held the cup and took a sip of water.
The water temperature was just right, warm but not scalding, and the gentle steam caressed her eyelashes.

The two changed their shoes and went out. Jiang Cheng put Pei Xi in a taxi and then returned to the house.

"With whom?" Pei Zhi put his legs up on the coffee table and looked at her leisurely.
Pei Xi paused for a moment. Not wanting to lie, she answered honestly, "...Jiang Cheng."
After answering, she paused for a few seconds.
