Chapter 126 is awesome!

In September, the sky was clear and cloudless, and the sun hung on the horizon like a bright yellow fried egg.

The entrance to Kyoto University was unusually lively.

Private cars and taxis lined up in long queues, almost blocking the road in front of the gate. The surrounding area was crowded with students and parents carrying large bags and small packages.

Despite the scorching sun, everyone's face was beaming with joy, and many people were taking photos in front of the magnificent gate.

Every year when new students arrive, this is the scene at the entrance of Peking University.

The taxi finally found a spot to stop, and Pei Xi and Pei Ruoyun got out together. The driver helped them take two suitcases and a large bag out of the trunk, and the two walked towards the gate together.

As soon as she entered the gate, a student wearing a red volunteer vest immediately came up to her. It was a boy. When he saw Pei Xi's face, he was stunned for a moment, and then immediately reached out to take the luggage from her hands. "Junior, let me help you!"

Pei Xi instinctively flinched, and was about to say that someone was coming to pick her up when she heard footsteps from the side. Pei Zhi was running over from another side door, slapping the outstretched hand of the boy in the red vest, and then said irritably, "Go away, this is my sister."

The boy in the red vest was taken aback, then glanced at Pei Xi's face again. No wonder he looked familiar.

He gave an awkward laugh and scratched his head. "Well, I'll go see if any of the other freshmen need help."

After saying that, he ran away in a flash.

Pei Zhi glanced at his back, snorted, and explained to the two of them, "That was my roommate, Tan Xu. He pretended to be a volunteer to help others, but actually he just wanted to flirt with a junior high school girl."

After saying that, he scoffed, "How come I always have such idiots around me?"

Shi Chen has changed, and now he's being influenced by positive energy every day. But as a result, one leaves, and another comes.

Pei Zhi was greatly puzzled by this.

Pei Ruoyun suddenly spoke up: "That kid looks slick and slippery. Even though he's your roommate, you should still tell him to have less contact with your sister."

Pei Zhi paused for a moment, then asked in return, "Mom, do I need you to remind me of this?"

He'd be the first to volunteer for something like this, right?

Besides, Pei Xi certainly doesn't have room for anyone else, so all this worrying is unnecessary.

Pei Ruoyun mentioned it casually, but she knew that Pei Zhi had considered things no less than she had when it came to Pei Xi.

Pei Zhi and Pei Xi were in the same school, so she was completely at ease.

She had to catch a flight soon, so she reached out and touched Pei Xi's face. "Sweetie, Mommy's leaving now. Call Mommy if anything happens."

Pei Xi nodded, "Okay."

Pei Zhi stood to the side, holding the suitcase with one hand and carrying the bag with the other. "Don't worry, I'm here."

Pei Ruoyun smiled and raised her hand to touch Pei Zhi's face, but she pulled it back halfway and patted his arm instead.

"Okay, I'll be going now."

The brother and sister said goodbye to Pei Ruoyun, watching her figure disappear outside the gate. Pei Zhi turned to Pei Xi and asked, "Which dormitory building is it?"

Building No. 2, South Zone.

Pei Zhi nodded. "Let's go."

Peking University's campus is very large. By the time Pei Xi reached the dormitory building, he was already covered in a light sweat.

Fortunately, the dormitory building was cool, and her dormitory was on the first floor, so she didn't have to climb the stairs. The two of them pushed their suitcases directly to the dormitory door.

A commotion came from inside; it was unclear who was speaking with such a loud voice. As soon as Pei Xi entered, the voice stopped abruptly.

Several pairs of eyes turned to her at once.

One was sitting on the bed, one was squatting on the floor, and one was standing on a stool.

Everyone looked surprised and opened their eyes wide.

Pei Zhi followed closely behind and entered the house, and the three pairs of eyes widened even more.

The room was silent for several seconds without anyone speaking. Pei Zhi looked around, raised an eyebrow and smiled, "Are you all playing 'Red Light, Green Light' here?"

Pei Xi chuckled. Pei Zhi always had a knack for joking with people he was meeting for the first time. That's probably what you call a social butterfly.

The quiet atmosphere was suddenly broken. The people who had been staring at each other looked away. The girl who had been squatting on the ground organizing her luggage immediately stood up and greeted Pei Xi with a smile: "Hello, my name is Chen Liang, Liang as in handsome boy. Everyone calls me Liangzi."

Chen Liang is tall and thin with dark skin, short hair, and a cute tiger tooth when she smiles, giving her a sunny appearance.

Pei Xi inexplicably felt that she must be very athletic.

She smiled and introduced herself, "My name is Pei Xi."

As soon as she finished speaking, the round-faced girl who was standing on the stool making the bed introduced herself: "My name is Qi Yushu, Yu as in 'exquisite and talented,' and Shu as in 'book.'"

Her voice was gentle, and her name, like herself, had a scholarly air.

Pei Xi nodded to her, "Hello."

The girl who was half-lying on the bed sat up and leaned over the edge of the bed. Only then did Pei Xi notice that she had dyed her hair blonde, which, combined with her fair skin, made her look very elegant, even though her features weren't particularly outstanding.

The blonde girl winked at her. "Hello, beautiful, my name is Zhuang Tiantian."

She had a rebellious and bright temperament, but her name was unexpectedly sweet. Pei Xi was taken aback and greeted her.

Zhuang Tiantian smiled and pointed her chin at Pei Zhi: "Hey handsome guy over there, aren't you going to introduce him to us?"

Pei Xi exclaimed "Ah!" and pulled Pei Zhi's arm. "This is my brother. He's also at our school. He's a sophomore in medical school."

The group looked surprised again.

Chen Liang scratched her head and smiled, "I thought you two were..."

She chuckled, "So it was a misunderstanding."
