As October arrives, Jingjiang is no longer so hot; the nights are cool, and you'll need a light jacket.
On Saturday night, Jiang Shuyu looked up from her computer, glanced at the empty seat opposite Jiang Cheng, and casually asked, "Pei Xi is really not coming tonight?"
Jiang Cheng stared at the computer screen and nodded without looking at her. "It's her roommate's birthday today, she went out for dinner, and she's not coming tonight."
Jiang Shuyu responded with an "oh".
Jiang Cheng paused for a moment, his hands slowed down, and he subconsciously looked at the empty seat opposite him.

He took a drag, exhaled a puff of white smoke, and suddenly his pocket vibrated as a cell phone rang.
Jiang Cheng held a cigarette between his fingers and took out his phone with his other hand. When he saw the profile picture displayed on the screen, his expression changed, and he quickly stubbed out the cigarette.

The person celebrating their birthday in Pei Xi's dorm is Zhuang Tiantian.
She notified him so suddenly that Pei Xi didn't even have time to prepare a gift, planning to make it up to him later.

Especially when he saw Jiang Cheng's cold expression instantly turn into a smile.
