A tingling sensation spread across the skin on my face where I was touched, and it lingered for a long time.
Jiang Cheng's heart pounded uncontrollably, making his eardrums throb.
His gaze fell on Pei Xi's lips, paused for a moment, then quickly looked away as if he had been electrocuted.
Jiang Cheng spat at himself inwardly.
Because he was subconsciously recalling that fleeting, 0.1-second touch that separated them so quickly.
Seeing his silence, Pei Xi's smile deepened. "Why aren't you saying anything?"
Jiang Cheng coughed lightly, cleared his throat, and said softly, "Let's reshoot. I'm ready this time."
After saying that, he even made a gesture as if to adjust his posture.
Pei Xi smiled, glanced down at her phone screen, and then held it up for him to see.
Jiang Cheng was taken aback.
A photograph was prominently displayed on the screen.
It happened precisely when he turned his head and his cheek brushed against her lips.
"I accidentally pressed the shutter button," Pei Xi said. "No need to retake it, I think this one is fine."
Jiang Cheng looked at his phone screen. Because it was a snapshot, the two people's faces were slightly blurry, but with the night view outside the window as the background, it inexplicably created a great atmosphere.

She immediately pulled Jiang Cheng to the middle of the crowd.
Finding an empty seat, she squeezed in and saw the person standing inside, holding the microphone and singing. Pei Xi was suddenly stunned.
At the same time, the singer happened to look over and their eyes met.
A hint of surprise appeared in both of their eyes.

Jiang Cheng nodded slightly.
Pei Xi pulled Sun Yufei aside, afraid that she would say something outrageous again, and whispered in her ear, "Don't talk nonsense, watch your words."
Sun Yufei's expression froze for a moment, then she frowned. "You two aren't together yet?"
Pei Xi: "".
She ignored the harsh verbs in Sun Yufei's words and then shook her head.
Seeing this, Sun Yufei gave a thumbs up, her eyes filled with admiration, "Your Jiang Cheng is just like that."
She clicked her tongue and said, "That's some serious self-control."
“That’s who he always was.” Pei Xi also gave a thumbs up.
Sun Yufei was speechless.
She glanced at her out of the corner of her eye and said casually, "It's all assumed that it belongs to you."
Pei Xi pursed his lips, smiled, and poked her waist, "You did that on purpose."
She gave a light hum and changed the subject, saying, "By the way, didn't you say you were going to participate in some variety show in Jingjiang? Has it aired yet? I'll go check it out."
Sun Yufei's smile froze, and she suddenly fell silent.
"It's on." After a few seconds, she pursed her lips and said, "But it doesn't make any difference whether you watch it or not."
Pei Xi looked at her in confusion: "Hmm?"
Sun Yufei sighed, then waved her hand, "That's right, the show invited me, but I was just there to make up the numbers. The camera barely even showed me a few times, and you couldn't even see my face clearly."
She originally thought she was going there as a guest singer.
