Chapter 145 All Love Has a Definite Name

Passengers coming and going in the terminal turned their attention to them, but Jiang Cheng didn't care and just held Pei Xi tightly in his arms.

He was never one to express his emotions openly, but at this moment he couldn't hold back any longer. He no longer cared about anyone's opinions and just wanted to follow his instincts.

The warm touch in his arms told him that this was not a dream, that Pei Xi was real, standing in front of him, in his arms.

Pei Xi was stunned the moment he pulled her into his arms; she couldn't believe that Jiang Cheng would do such a thing.

Then, in a daze, she subconsciously raised her hand, hugged his waist tightly, and pressed her face against his chest.

She felt Jiang Cheng's arms tighten around her even more.

Neither of them spoke; they simply embraced tightly in the bustling hall, oblivious to everyone else around them.

Several seconds later, Jiang Cheng's voice suddenly rang out above Pei Xi's head, his voice low and hoarse: "Why are you here?"

Pei Xi felt the vibration of his chest as he spoke, and nestled in his arms, she said, "I've come to spend New Year's Eve with you."

Jiang Cheng remained silent for a long while, then tightened his arms around him. "You saw it."

He was referring to that account.

Pei Xi nodded and hugged him even tighter.

"...When?" His voice was a little hoarse.

“This time last year,” Pei Xi said.

She stumbled upon the account by chance; amidst the flood of comments, for some reason, she spotted it at a glance.

Then, almost as if possessed, I clicked on it.

Almost at first glance, she knew that this was Jiang Cheng.

Pei Xi looked at each of his posts in disbelief. She knew that Jiang Cheng was not a talkative person, and his patience surpassed that of most people in the world.

He must have posted it because he was really upset.

He couldn't talk to anyone, so he could only use this tone to find the most remote corner of the internet and confide in himself.

But he didn't know that other people would also visit this place.

She could see everything he said.

Upon hearing this, Jiang Cheng didn't say anything, but simply hugged her tighter.

Pei Xi held onto his waist tightly, looked up at him with a smile in her eyes, and said, "Actually, you can ask me these kinds of questions directly on WeChat in the future."

Jiang Cheng looked into her eyes, then nodded and gave a very low "hmm".

Pei Xi smiled and said, "Let's go back."

"good."

The two reluctantly let go of each other's hands. Jiang Cheng helped Pei Xi push her luggage out of the terminal exit, then hailed a taxi and returned to the studio.

By the time we arrived, it was already completely dark.

After putting Pei Xi's luggage away inside, Jiang Cheng received a phone call informing him that the dishes he had ordered were ready.

When he received Pei Xi's call, he immediately ordered some dishes at a nearby restaurant. It was New Year's Eve, and there were very few restaurants that had food available. Fortunately, Jiang Shuyu usually had a good relationship with the owner of that restaurant.

The store was short-staffed, so he had to get it himself.

The restaurant was nearby, and Jiang Cheng retrieved it in just a few minutes. When he opened the door, he saw Pei Xi standing by the window.

She took off her coat, revealing only a pale yellow checkered cardigan. The soft white light shone on her, making her look warm and gentle.

She was bending over, checking each of her little succulents one by one, as if to see how well he was taking care of them.

She was watching intently and didn't turn around to look at him.

Jiang Cheng stood at the door for a while, then put the groceries he had brought on the table, took off his down jacket which was still chilly, and walked towards her.

“I take good care of her every day,” he whispered behind her.

His voice was always cold and sharp; unless you listened carefully, you couldn't detect any hint of self-aggrandizement in it.

"Is that so?" Pei Xi turned around upon hearing this, raising an eyebrow slightly.

Then she pointed to one of them, her tone somewhat serious: "Then take a look, what's going on here?"

Jiang Cheng was startled and immediately bent down to look. The next second, he suddenly felt a warm and wet touch on his face.

His bending motion froze, then he turned his head and saw Pei Xi's face so close to his.

A smile spread across her eyes, sparkling with tiny glimmers of light. "Silly boy, you've been fooled."

Just then, a firework suddenly exploded outside the window.

The two straightened up and looked outside at the same time.

I don't know where it was set off, but it wasn't too far or too close. I could see it right from the window. A red firework exploded in the dark night.

The light from outside the window reflected in Pei Xi's eyes, making his already bright eyes shine.

She turned to look at Jiang Cheng and said softly, "You've taken such good care of them, I think I should give you a reward."

Before Jiang Cheng could react, Pei Xi stood on tiptoe, wrapped her arms around his neck, and lightly touched his lips.

Jiang Cheng was completely stunned, and his breathing suddenly became heavy.

Pei Xi didn't let go, still holding his neck, and every word she spoke was like a sweet seduction.

“When I was little, the adults always said that once the New Year is over, you get a year older. Jiang Cheng, in a few hours, it will be the second New Year.”

The second one.

Where does the second one come from? They knew the answer without saying a word.

"And guess who gave me permission to go out on my own during the Lunar New Year?"

"I came all the way from Yulin City in this cold weather, not just to watch fireworks with you."

Jiang Cheng's throat tightened more and more because of her words.

He looked at Pei Xi's face, feeling her breath on his chin, and his hands hanging at his sides trembled uncontrollably.

Pei Xi frowned slightly. "Why aren't you saying anything? Do I need to put it more bluntly? What I mean is, I want to..."
