After the start of the school year, the weather gradually warmed up, spring was in full bloom, everything was reviving, and early summer had arrived.

Jiang Cheng took a taxi from the airport and it stopped directly in front of Yushi Prison. He got out of the car.
The prison gates and outer walls stood tall, a somber gray color that created a suffocating atmosphere.
This is the first time he has been here since Jiang Jin was sentenced more than a year ago.
Because of the large amount involved, and because Jiang Jin had a prior criminal record, she was indeed sentenced to ten years, just as Pei Ruoyun had said.
This is the second year.
Jiang Cheng went in and completed a series of prison visit registration procedures. He was then led to the visiting room, where he sat down and waited quietly.
Separated by a transparent partition, the other side is the world of prisoners.
A moment later, with a whoosh, the inner door opened, and the prison guard led Jiang Jin out.
If he hadn't prepared in advance, Jiang Cheng would have almost not recognized the person in front of him as Jiang Jin.
She looked much more haggard than before, with sunken cheeks, lifeless eyes, and a withered appearance, like a walking corpse, exuding an aura of decay and impending death.
But the moment she saw Jiang Cheng, her eyes lit up, and she pounced on him like a wild beast, making a loud, screeching sound as she kicked up a chair.
The prison guard shouted, and Jiang Jin finally quieted down, looking at Jiang Cheng with a fierce gaze, as if she were an enemy.
"Pah, you dog, you bastard, what are you doing here! Are you happy to see your mother in jail?!"
"You beast, you wretched bastard!!"
Jiang Jin's mouth was full of foul language, her eyes were bloodshot, and she looked neither human nor ghost.
Jiang Cheng just watched her quietly through the partition, his gaze calm and unwavering, as if he were looking at a stranger.
Jiang Jin spat again, revealing that sinister and vicious look in her eyes, "I should have strangled you back then!"
Upon hearing this, Jiang Cheng smiled.
He said calmly, "Yes, but it's too late."
He added, "I'm doing very well now."
"What do you think you are?!" Jiang Jin shouted hysterically. "You're my child, Jiang Jin's child. Now that I'm like this, what kind of good thing do you think you'll be in the future?! Let me tell you, you're not going to have a good life!! I've already said, you were never a good person from birth, nobody likes you, don't even dream about it!!"
Jiang Cheng ignored him; he had heard these words since he was a child, and his ears were already calloused from hearing them.
He looked only into her eyes and said, "This is the first and last time I've come to see you. I will never come again."
"I came here today just to tell you that if you die inside, don't worry, I will buy you a burial plot as a final act of filial piety."
