Upon hearing this, Jiang Jin went completely berserk. Her eyes were bloodshot as she frantically pounded on the transparent partition, making a loud banging noise. "You bastard!! You beast!!! You'll die a horrible death!!! You bastard!!"
A prison guard's shout came from inside immediately.
Then, Jiang Cheng watched calmly as she was dragged away by the prison guards.
He sat down, took a deep breath, and relaxed his back.

Pei Zhi said that since you're not here, he wants to ask me out shopping.

Jiang Cheng unconsciously curled his lips into a smile. Before he could reply, Pei Xi sent another message: "What time will you be back? After we finish shopping, should we eat dinner out first, or wait for you to come back before we eat together?"
Jiang Cheng stared at the screen and slowly exhaled.
Then he chuckled silently and typed back: "You guys eat first, it'll be very late when I get back."
Pei Xi replied immediately: "Okay, let me know when you get on the plane."
Jiang Cheng's Adam's apple bobbed as he replied, "Mm."
