Chapter 180 is fun

Pei Xi was sitting in the car when she sent a message to Pei Zhi, saying that she wouldn't be having dinner with him tonight and that he should take care of himself.

Surprisingly, Pei Zhi wasn't conducting an experiment. He immediately replied, "Oh, I see. Looks like that guy's back."

Pei Xi: "".

Just as she was about to offer some words of comfort, Pei Zhi quickly sent a second message, which was a voice message.

Pei Xi opened the app, and his lazy voice echoed in the car: "Perfect timing, I was just about to tell you that someone in my dorm is having a birthday party today, and we're having dinner together tonight. I was originally thinking of bringing you along, but now it's convenient."

Pei Xi: "..."

Before she could reply, Jiang Cheng's voice suddenly came: "Is he going to take you to have dinner with his roommates?"

He paused for a second, then frowned. "Did he go crazy from doing experiments?"

His tone was light, almost like a normal question, as if he genuinely didn't understand.

Pei Xi chuckled.

She felt that Pei Zhi would never do that.

He deliberately sent the voice message because he knew she was with Jiang Cheng.

That person is awful.

Knowing her boyfriend was prone to jealousy, she gave a light snort and said casually, "Even if he asks me to go, I won't go. What's the point of a bunch of grown men?"

Jiang Cheng remained silent.

But Pei Xi saw a slight smile gracing his lips.

She silently shook her head, feeling that both of them were incredibly immature.

Out of the corner of his eye, Pei Xi glanced out the window and saw that the car had passed a familiar intersection but hadn't turned in. Suddenly, he realized something was wrong.

It seems he's heading in a direction that's not where he lives.

"Where are we going?" Pei Xi asked him, somewhat bewildered.

Jiang Cheng, holding the steering wheel, glanced at her and said, "Supermarket."

Pei Xi was taken aback, and she subconsciously blurted out, "I thought..."

He stopped talking abruptly halfway through his sentence.

Jiang Cheng turned his head to look at him, a hint of amusement in his eyes, "What did you think...?"

Pei Xi remained silent.

She just glared at him.

It has little force, it's light and airy, like a spoiled child.

The smile in Jiang Cheng's eyes deepened.

He turned his head, a hint of a smile in his voice: "I've been away from the baby for several days. My boyfriend will cook for you tonight as an apology."

Pei Xi smiled and said, "Okay."

When they arrived at the supermarket, the two of them shopped around for a while and bought a lot of ingredients, all of which were Pei Xi's favorite foods.

As soon as they got back to their place, Jiang Cheng put the bag he was carrying on the ground and pressed Pei Xi against the door, kissing her deeply.

That force was clearly something he had been holding back for a long time.

After kissing her until their lips were slightly numb, Jiang Cheng finally let go of her, panting, and said, "I'll go cook first, let's eat first."

Pei Xi blushed and nodded, "Mmm..."

Then she watched him pick up the bag, walk into the kitchen, tie on an apron, and quickly begin preparing the ingredients.

Pei Xi walked over and leaned against the side to supervise the work.

She wondered if it was just a filter, but she thought her boyfriend's cooking posture was pleasing to the eye. His movements were all methodical and orderly. Not to mention his broad shoulders and narrow waist, even the shirt cuffs rolled up to his forearms looked good.

In no time, the three dishes and soup were ready.

Pei Xi had been attending classes all afternoon and was indeed hungry. Looking at the delicious-looking dishes, his stomach immediately started rumbling. He buried his head in his food and didn't say a word.

They ate in big bites, like starving little animals, enjoying their food immensely.

Jiang Cheng stopped eating as he was eating, and unconsciously began to admire her eating manners.

Pei Xi felt embarrassed by his gaze and stopped picking up food. "Why are you looking at me?"

"I just think... the way the baby eats is so cute," Jiang Cheng answered truthfully.

Pei Xi: "".

When she was little, Pei Ruoyun also said that she was cute when she ate.

She said the way she and Pei Zhi ate looked like two little pigs.

"It's like..."

Jiang Cheng was about to speak when Pei Xi interrupted him, "You're not trying to say it looks like a little pig, are you?"

Jiang Cheng looked at her and blinked silently.

Pei Xi: "..."

She couldn't help but think.

Ultimately, it was because he and Pei Ruoyun had a tacit understanding.

Or does she really look like a little pig when she eats?

However, she has never been concerned about being a lady when it comes to eating.

I try to eat my fill at every meal.

Meeting Jiang Cheng's smiling gaze, Pei Xi lowered his head again and silently finished the rice in his bowl.

"Does the baby still want to eat?" Jiang Cheng made a gesture to serve her rice.

Pei Xi shook his head, "No need, I'm full."

Jiang Cheng didn't insist. He knew that when Pei Xi said she was full, she really meant it.

He finished his rice in a few bites, then started clearing the table and washing the dishes.

After washing the dishes, he took a change of clothes and went to the bathroom to take a shower.

He showered quickly, and when he came out drying his hair, Pei Xi was standing on the balcony looking at her two newly bought flowers.

Jiang Cheng slowly walked over and hugged her from behind.

Pei Xi instantly felt enveloped by a humid, fragrant scent and moisture.

Then the wet touch landed on the side of her neck.

It was tender yet tinged with eagerness.

Pei Xi felt ticklish from the kisses and instinctively turned her head to dodge, but was pulled back and buried in a handsome face, only revealing the soft, dark back of her head.

He not only kissed her with his lips, but also licked her with the tip of his tongue.

Pei Xi was instantly a little weak in the knees from being teased.

“I haven’t showered yet…” she said softly.

Jiang Cheng mumbled against her neck, "No need..."

He kissed along the neck to the cheek, and Pei Xi said, "But I'm not feeling well today."

Jiang Cheng suddenly paused.

He looked up at Pei Xi, whose eyelashes fluttered slightly, her expression innocent and tinged with a hint of apology.
