She didn't know how much time had passed when Pei Xi lay panting in his arms. Once again, she was amazed by Jiang Cheng's learning ability and had a revolutionary understanding of his "progress".

Pei Xi took Jiang Cheng's arm and stepped up the stairs into the hall.
The place was bustling with people, and the air was filled with the smell of ink that was common in government service halls.
They arrived early and waited in the rest area for a while, with Jiang Cheng holding Pei Xi's hand tightly the whole time.
Pei Xi felt that his palm was damp, as if it was sweaty.
So she turned her hand over and intertwined her fingers with his, holding him even tighter.
After a while, the electronic voice on the loudspeaker called out their number. Pei Xi clearly felt Jiang Cheng suddenly tighten his grip on her hand and then stand up abruptly.
His expression was one of extreme readiness.
Pei Xi chuckled.
She stood up and took his arm. "Come on, it's our turn."

The two went to take photos first.
This time, without the photographer's prompting, Jiang Cheng put his arm around her shoulder and their heads were very close together when taking the picture.
With a click, the image freezes.
The photos were developed quickly. Pei Xi held the photos and examined them for a few seconds, then suddenly laughed.
She suddenly remembered the big wolfhound and calico dog she had drawn on an acrylic board on a whim.
They look exactly alike.
"Our Cheng is so photogenic!" she exclaimed, looking at the photo.
