Chapter 35 Don't touch her with your dirty hands

The loud noise attracted people out of the store, and the waiters and a few customers craned their necks to see what was going on.

The three thugs clutched their noses in pain as blood gushed out, their faces contorted in agony.

Jiang Cheng's face was gloomy and frosty.

He looked down at the group and said in a deep voice, "If you dare touch her with your filthy hands again, I'll kill you all."

These words were coldly spat out between his teeth, and coupled with his deep, icy gaze, they were chilling.

The three thugs realized they had messed with a tough opponent.

The blond-haired leader glared at him, said "You just wait," and ran away with the other two men, tumbling and crawling.

Jiang Cheng glanced coldly at their retreating figures, then looked away.

Pei Xi stood aside, staring in disbelief at the scene.

This was the first time she had ever seen Jiang Cheng fight.

In her mind, Pei Zhi's physical fitness was already very good, but last time he and Shi Chen fought against them, they were injured.

But Jiang Cheng easily defeated three opponents.

Pei Xi opened his eyes and looked at him with some surprise.

Jiang Cheng turned his head and saw her surprised gaze. He paused, concealing the coldness in his eyes, and asked, "Did I scare you?"

Pei Xi nodded.

After ordering, she immediately shook her head and hurriedly explained, "It was their unreasonable behavior that scared me, not you."

On the contrary, seeing you appear made me feel very at ease.

But Pei Xi didn't say that.

I don't know why, but I just subconsciously didn't say it.

Just then, the curtain at the shop entrance was suddenly lifted, and a dark-skinned middle-aged man rushed out. When he saw the mess outside, his eyebrows immediately shot up.

The man rushed up to Jiang Cheng and shouted at him, "You just hit one of our customers?"

Jiang Cheng nodded.

"You don't need to come tomorrow!" The man waved his hand angrily and glared at him fiercely.

Jiang Cheng lowered his eyes and glanced at him, but his face remained expressionless.

He only said "okay".

Anyway, it doesn't matter where you work, it's not like you can only work here.

Pei Xi, standing to the side, watched this scene with a shocked expression, a hint of guilt in his eyes.

She realized that the dark-skinned man was probably the owner of the barbecue restaurant.

After all, no boss can accept their employees beating up customers in the store.

Regardless of the reason.

Pei Xi took a step closer to Jiang Cheng, his eyes brimming with guilt that was almost overflowing.

"I'm sorry..."

She was about to speak when Jiang Cheng interrupted her.

"Don't apologize, it has nothing to do with you," he said, looking down at her.

It was he who wanted to beat up those thugs; it had nothing to do with Pei Xi.

When he saw the blond-haired man put his dirty hand on Pei Xi's shoulder, he already wanted nothing more than to chop off his hand and feed it to the dogs.

Just beating them up is already too lenient on them.

Jiang Cheng looked at the apology in Pei Xi's eyes, and at her clear amber eyes, a trace of loneliness flashed in his own.

She could never have imagined that he would have such dangerous and terrifying thoughts.

He was far more sinister and terrifying than she had imagined.

Jiang Cheng concealed the emotions in his eyes and curled his lips at Pei Xi, "You heard me, I just got fired."

He reached out and patted the back seat of the motorcycle, saying to her, "So you happen to be free now, do you want me to take you home?"
