Xu Nuo was nestled on the sofa playing on her phone, while Ye Linyan was working. Aunt Wu brought over a thermos and handed it to Xu Nuo.
"Young master, this is water with Chinese medicine. The doctor recommends that you drink one or two cups every day."
"Thank you, Aunt Wu."
Xu Nuo took the thermos, opened it, and took a small sip. It tasted a little sweet, but thankfully, there wasn't too much of a strange flavor.
"Have you changed your ways? I've never seen you this proactive about taking medicine when you were sick before!"
Ye Linyan glanced at the thermos in Xu Nuo's hand and teased.
Xu Nuo didn't reply and continued playing with her phone with her head down.
The doorbell rang, and when Wu Ma opened the door, two other maids returned carrying several large bags of groceries and a delivery box in their hands.
"Young Master, your package is here!"
"Oh... give it to me."
Xu Nuo jumped up and took the package.
What did you buy?
"Yes, I'll use it!"
Xu Nuo ran into the bedroom on the second floor with the express delivery box in her arms.
Ye Linyan glanced at the bedroom door that wasn't closed, and thought about getting up but was afraid of interfering too much and upsetting Xu Nuo.
They're being so mysterious; I wonder what they're up to!
Ye Linyan shook his head and turned his gaze back to the computer.

Dinner was ready, and Xu Nuo took her seat early.
Ye Linyan stretched his neck, closed his laptop, and walked into the restaurant. He was stunned when he saw the table full of dishes.
What are all these?
Ye Linyan looked at the dozen or so dishes on the table and asked a question.
"You managed to tinker with these things in just one afternoon?"
Xu Nuo placed two dishes of green vegetables in front of Ye Linyan's seat and said with a smile:
"I had Aunt Wu make some dishes that suit your taste. These are yours, and the rest are mine!"
Ye Linyan stared at the dishes on the table and slowly sat down.
"Braised squid, stir-fried lamb with scallions, steamed sea bass, braised oysters, and stir-fried shrimp with chives,"
Ye Linyan read out all the dishes he could recognize, looked at the stir-fried mutton with scallions on the table, and asked:
"Why is there so much scallion in the stir-fried lamb with scallions? We already have stir-fried shrimp with chives, why did we also make chive pancakes?"
Xu Nuo placed a piece of sea bass into Ye Linyan's bowl:
"Brother, let's eat."
"What is that?"
Ye Linyan pointed to the three casserole dishes in front of Xu Nuo, their lids open and steaming.
"It's just a dietary supplement or medicinal meal prescribed by a traditional Chinese medicine doctor!"
Xu Nuo had already prepared a bowl of soup in front of her, and she picked up the bowl and gulped down most of it.
Ye Linyan stood up again, picked up the soup ladle from the casserole, stirred it, scooped out a spoonful of ingredients, and asked:
"What's this?"
Xu Nuo glanced at it, swallowed the soup in her mouth, and then spoke:
"Deer antler, ginseng! Goji berries... and that other thing, I forgot what it's called!"
Ye Linyan looked inside and couldn't help but chuckle: "It's made with black-boned chicken!"
"What about this one?"
Ye Linyan then looked at another casserole dish, scooped some water with a spoon, and found it contained soft-shelled turtle!
"Turtle and mutton soup!"
"Morinda officinalis and Cistanche deserticola chicken intestine soup!" Xu Nuo told Ye Linyan directly when he saw Ye Linyan looking at the casserole again.
Ye Linyan glanced at the other dishes he had just eaten—dishes he couldn't name or identify the ingredients—and laughed in exasperation.
"You've prepared such a huge feast, it's all for kidney tonics and aphrodisiacs, isn't it!"
"It was prescribed by the traditional Chinese medicine doctor you consulted!"
Xu Nuo, without blushing or turning pale, said that she had finished the soup in her bowl, got up and ladled herself another bowl of turtle and mutton soup, placing it in front of her.
"Arno, I'm wondering, how could you have the nerve to let Aunt Wu get these things for me?"
"There's nothing to be embarrassed about!"
Xu Nuo took a bite of the chive pancake and said as she ate:
“I told her that you complained about my short duration, so I found a traditional Chinese medicine doctor to help me improve, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to take good care of you!”
Ye Linyan's hand, which was about to pick up the chopsticks, froze in place. After a moment, he asked:
"Did you and that traditional Chinese medicine doctor say the same thing?"
"ah!"
Xu Nuo showed no remorse, drank the soup in the bowl clean in two gulps, and then went to scoop soup from another clay pot.
"well!"
Ye Linyan, both angry and amused, picked up a dish she couldn't recognize and put it in Xu Nuo's bowl:
"Eat! You ate it all!"
I'll try to eat as much as I can!
Xu Nuo picked up a piece of deer antler from the soup, looked at it in front of her, and after confirming that it was deer antler, put it directly into her mouth and ate it.
Ye Linyan watched as Xu Nuo kept putting food into his mouth, licking his back teeth with the tip of his tongue:
"Why don't you just take the medicine? That would be so much easier!"
Xu Nuo replied while putting the food in her mouth:
"That's bad for your health! Let's get better nutrition through food!"
Ye Linyan couldn't suppress the corners of her mouth; she felt both annoyed and amused by Xu Nuo.
She reached out and ladled herself a bowl of soup, but just as she brought it to her lips, Xu Nuo stopped her:
"You don't need any supplements, why would you drink it!"
Ye Linyan slapped Xu Nuo's hand away and drank the soup in the bowl clean in one gulp.
"Let's replenish our energy! We'll fight you to the death tonight!"
Xu Nuo spit out the soup in her mouth with a slurp, her eyes narrowing into slits.
How disgusting!
Ye Linyan looked disgusted as she took a tissue to wipe his mouth.

After dinner, Xu Nuo's stomach was round and full. He hadn't eaten this much in a long time, mainly because he had drunk too much soup!
I walked around the living room a few times before I felt less full.
Looking at Xu Nuo's expression, Ye Linyan unconsciously curled up the corners of her mouth, sat down on the sofa, and began to deal with her work again.
Xu Nuo walked around the living room while playing on her phone.
She lay down on Ye Linyan's lap only when she was tired from walking.
After resting for a while, Xu Nuo got up with a grin, cupped Ye Linyan's face, and kissed him:
"Brother, I'm going to take a shower. Hurry up and get ready, I'll be waiting for you in bed~"
Watching Xu Nuo happily go upstairs, Ye Linyan smiled helplessly.
After quickly finishing my work and closing my laptop, I felt a bit thirsty, so I picked up the thermos that Xu Nuo had placed on the coffee table and took a sip.
It tastes a little sweet!
Ye Linyan looked inside and immediately burst out laughing.
Alright! Goji berries, American ginseng, and deer antler slices!

When Ye Linyan took the computer into the bedroom, Xu Nuo was still in the bathroom and hadn't come out yet. There was a small bottle on the bedside table.
Ye Linyan was curious about what it was, so he picked it up to take a look.
It's all in English, no Chinese at all!
"Can you even understand this?" Ye Linyan wondered to himself.
It took me a while to figure out what it was, and my face felt a little hot!
What kind of things has Xu Nuo made?!
Thinking about that package from this afternoon, it's probably this thing...........................
