Ye Linyan had a very long dream. The dream was pitch black and extremely cold. He didn't know where he was. There were only a few green flames that occasionally floated out in the darkness.
He couldn't tell which way was which, and could only go around in circles...
A faint sobbing sound came from the darkness. Ye Linyan followed the sound, calling out repeatedly:
"Arno, Arno! Is that you, Arno!"
Ye Linyan didn't know how long he had been walking, but Xu Nuo's voice became clearer and clearer, a sobbing sound, it was definitely Xu Nuo!
Following the sound of crying, Ye Linyan walked further and further, and the green flames multiplied, but the ground beneath her feet remained pitch black.
In the dim light, Ye Linyan seemed to see many figures tearing at each other ahead, and he quickly ran in that direction.
Xu Nuo's cries grew clearer and closer...

Ye Linyan heard Xu Nuo calling her name and ran even faster.
Finally reaching the figures, Xu Nuo crouched on the ground, tears still streaming down his face. Many of the dark figures were indistinguishable from each other; they surrounded him, dragging and kicking him...
"Arnold!"
Ye Linyan ran over and tried to push away the black figures, but she couldn't touch them no matter what she did.
Xu Nuo looked up at Ye Linyan, her face streaked with tears, sobbing and crying out:
"Brother, it hurts! It hurts so much! Brother..."
Ye Linyan waved his arms, trying to stop the dark figures, but he couldn't touch them at all; his arms passed right through them...
"Don't be afraid! Arnold, don't be afraid!"
Ye Linyan had no choice but to hold Xu Nuo in his arms and shield her with his body.
But those dark figures were able to pass through Ye Linyan's body and hit Xu Nuo. Several dark figures grabbed Xu Nuo's clothes and dragged him to the other side.
Ye Linyan used all her strength but couldn't hold Xu Nuo, and could only watch as they dragged Xu Nuo away little by little.
"Arnold! Arnold!"
Ye Linyan held Xu Nuo tightly, refusing to let go. Xu Nuo cried even harder, repeatedly saying:
"Brother, I'm scared! I'm scared!"
Ye Linyan was also dragged forward. After an unknown amount of time, Xu Nuo in his arms was still crying, but the dark figures stopped moving forward!
Not far away, a yellow road sign stands in front.
Ye Linyan held Xu Nuo tightly in his arms, trying to see what was written on the road sign, but he couldn't make it out no matter what he did. It wasn't until the road sign slowly moved towards him and was almost in front of him that Ye Linyan could finally see the three large characters written on it:
'Road to the Underworld'
Ye Linyan felt a sudden emptiness in her heart. She tightened her arms around Xu Nuo, only to find her embrace empty...
Looking down, Xu Nuo was no longer in his arms.
"elder brother!"
Ye Linyan looked up and saw Xu Nuo being dragged behind the sign that read 'Road to the Underworld' by those dark figures...
"Arnold! Come back!"
Ye Linyan got up and gave chase, but his foot slipped, as if he were falling from a great height........................

"Arnold!"
Ye Linyan suddenly woke up, covered in a cold sweat!
Having seen his surroundings, Ye Linyan realized he was in a hospital bed and immediately turned to look at Xu Nuo's bed.
Xu Nuo was still lying there, breathing steadily. The night owl sat on a chair by the bed, watching her.
"Do you always startle like this every time you wake up?"
The sound of the night owl pulled Ye Linyan back from her dream.
Ye Linyan raised her hand and swept her bangs back, letting out a long sigh of relief.................
He rolled out of bed and stood at the head of the bed to examine Xu Nuo carefully. If Xu Nuo had only lost a lot of weight before, now he was just skin and bones!
After calming down, Ye Linyan finally spoke and asked:
How long have I been asleep?
The night owl stood up and stretched:
"A day and a night!"
Ye Linyan hadn't expected him to sleep for so long. Looking at Xu Nuo's pale face, he asked again:
"Is he awake?"
"No, I'm waiting for you!"
The night owl yawned and walked towards the door:
“I’m going back to rest. You can take care of things yourself! Oh, and you need to get some sleep. Don’t let Xu Nuo wake up and then collapse! I’ll say it again: do you think Xu Nuo’s depression will worsen if he wakes up and sees you collapsed?”
Ye Linyan remained silent until he heard the door open, then he walked around the hospital bed and sat down in front of Xu Nuo's bed.
He pulled Xu Nuo's hand from under the covers, placed it on his cheek, and said softly:
"Arno, open your eyes and look at me. I just had a really scary dream. Please don't scare me anymore..."
Xu Nuo's finger, which was pressed against Ye Linyan's cheek, twitched, and Ye Linyan was startled.
"Arno, Arno, can you hear me?"
Ye Linyan didn't dare to speak too loudly, and could only ask again and again.
Xu Nuo's fingers twitched a few more times, and her long eyelashes fluttered gently...
“Arnold......................”
Ye Linyan was certain it wasn't a hallucination, so he reached out and pressed the call button on the bedside table.
The doctor entered the ward in less than a minute.
"He...he seems to be waking up! He moved..."
Several doctors gathered around the bed, examining Xu Nuo...
"The patient has regained consciousness!"
One of the doctors said.
“Arno, Arno.................”
Ye Linyan stood in front of the bed, holding Xu Nuo's hand tightly.
Xu Nuo frowned, her lips moved a few times, and then she slightly opened her eyes a crack.................
My vision was still blurry, but I could vaguely make out a few figures...
He felt a warmth on his hand, and heard Ye Linyan call his name, but he couldn't see the face of the person in front of him clearly.
