On his way to the hospital with Xu Nuo, Wang Mingwu received a call from Ye Linyan.
Xu Nuo was injured and overwhelmed with emotion, so she fainted.
After listening to Wang Mingwu's words, Ye Linyan pondered for a while before giving the order:
"Take him back to the villa on the hillside and get a doctor to come to the villa. Don't go to the hospital!"
Wang Mingwu replied and was about to hang up when Ye Linyan added:

When Wang Mingwu brought Xu Nuo back to the villa, the doctor hadn't arrived yet. He put Xu Nuo on the bed in the guest room and turned around to see Han Lu standing at the door, blinking at him.
Since Han Lu was brought back from the border by Ye Linyan, she has been living on the first floor of this villa, in the study that Xu Nuo used to live in.
Ye Linyan has never hired a nanny or maid in all these years. Han Lu is not highly educated, and there are no suitable positions for her in the company. Ye Linyan did have someone enroll her in a few schools, but she hasn't gone yet.
During this time, Ye Linyan was extremely busy, so Han Lu simply became his personal assistant, arranging everything for him, which made things much more convenient.
Han Lu continued to work as his assistant, and he did it quite enthusiastically.
Wang Mingwu ignored him and first checked Xu Nuo's wounds. There was a wound on his head, but none of them were deep. The most serious wound was on his leg.

After leading the doctor to a guest room on the second floor, Wang Mingwu went out to make a phone call and summoned some more people to guard outside the villa.
Ye Linyan hasn't returned yet; he can't afford to lose her.
When they entered the guest room, the doctor had already begun stitching up Xu Nuo's leg wound.
The doctor cut Xu Nuo's pants in half, and the bloodstains on Xu Nuo's face had been wiped clean. His pale face was covered with a slight frown.
"He's not awake?"
Wang Mingwu asked softly.
"I gave him anesthesia, so he can't feel any pain. He has a wound on his head, and the reason he hasn't woken up is probably because of the violent convulsion. We just need to observe him."
The doctor stitched up the wound on Xu Nuo's leg, checked it again to make sure there were no other external injuries, then gave Xu Nuo an IV drip, adjusted the speed, treated the two wounds on her head, and then left.
Wang Mingwu noticed Xu Nuo's torn clothes and cut pants, and was about to get him some clean clothes when Xu Nuo woke up.
Where am I?
Xu Nuo opened her eyes and looked around. Some of her surroundings felt familiar, while others felt strange.
This guest room is practically unoccupied; it's right next to Ye Linyan's study, and Xu Nuo has hardly ever been inside it before.
I moved my hand and it hurt a little.
"Don't move, you're on an IV drip."
Wang Mingwu held Xu Nuo's hand and said.
"Brother Wu?"
Upon seeing Wang Mingwu, Xu Nuo realized where she was. She moved her body and felt a sharp pain.
"Your leg wound is deep; you just had stitches. Don't move around."
Wang Mingwu looked up at the IV drip, which was still dripping normally.
"I don't want to stay here! Let me go!"
Xu Nuo was about to speak when Wang Mingwu pressed him back down:
“Xu Nuo, don’t make things difficult for me. The boss asked me to bring you back. You’re still injured.”
"He's your boss, not mine! Let go, I don't want to stay here!"
Xu Nuo's leg numbing medication hadn't worn off yet, so she couldn't feel much pain, but it also wouldn't obey her commands.
Wang Mingwu released his grip on Xu Nuo's hand, looked at him, and said:
"Calm down. There are many guards outside. You can't get out. Either you stay in bed and recover, or I'll have someone come in and watch you."
Xu Nuo knew that Wang Mingwu was telling the truth. After considering it for a while, she pulled the syringe out of her hand, threw it aside, and lay back down.
"Has Ye Qingshan already entered the police station by now?"
Xu Nuo stared blankly at the ceiling, her voice becoming calm.
"Um."

Xu Nuo laughed to herself and raised her hand to cover her eyes.
"Brother Wang, is there anything I can help you with?"
Han Lu remained at the door, her eyes constantly scanning Xu Nuo on the bed.
Hearing Han Lu's voice, Xu Nuo removed her hand from her eyes and turned her head to look at the door.
Knowing Xu Nuo's jealous nature, Wang Mingwu immediately spoke up:
"Go and get me some clothes."
Han Lu said "oh," and was about to leave when she asked again:
"We don't have any clothes here. Should we go out and buy some?"
"Go to the closet in the boss's bedroom, there are clothes there."
Wang Mingwu just wanted to get rid of Han Lu. Xu Nuo had just given up the idea of leaving, and if she caused trouble again, he would be in big trouble.
"But those are all Mr. Ye's clothes!"
Han Lu blinked as she spoke.
"His clothes are in there, hurry!"
Wang Mingwu's tone became impatient.
Han Lu hesitated for a moment, then went to the bedroom with a puzzled look in his eyes. He couldn't understand why Ye Linyan's clothes were in the closet in his bedroom.
But seeing Wang Mingwu's impatient expression, he didn't dare to ask any more questions.
"who is he?"
Xu Nuo watched the departing figure at the door and asked a question.
Wang Mingwu put away the IV bottle and syringe before replying:
"The boss's assistant."

Xu Nuo watched as Han Lu brought in a set of her old clothes, then timidly left under her gaze, letting out a soft chuckle...
"Why don't you change your clothes?"
Wang Mingwu put the clothes on the bedside table, went out and closed the door.
With extra staff deployed throughout the villa, Wang Mingwu wasn't worried that Xu Nuo would be able to sneak out.
'Didn't you sever all ties with me? Why are you trapping yourself here now?'
Thinking of how Ye Linyan said those words, Xu Nuo felt a tightness in her chest.
He can't stay here; he has to find a way to leave...
