"Silly cat, come back!"
Xu Nuo called out to the night cat outside the car.
Night Cat hesitated for a moment, glanced at the window of Lin Zheng's room, and walked to the side of the car where Xu Nuo was sitting.
How many of your men are here?
Xu Nuo waved his hand, not wanting to get up because his whole body ached. He could only let the Night Cat get closer to him and asked in a low voice.
"Besides my father's die-hard loyalists, most of the people here are my men."
Night Owl leaned closer and asked, "What does Dad mean by this?"
"If you don't deal with Old Ghost and Qu Lao Er's gang, what if there's internal strife after Uncle Lin's death?"
Night Cat suddenly realized, but when he thought of Qu Lao Er, Lao Gui, and the others in the wooden house to the east, his brows furrowed again.

Xu Nuo let out a soft sigh.

Night Owl stared at the window of Lin Zheng's room for a moment, then asked:

The night owl found a new syringe inside, took out a small medicine bottle, shook it, and drew it into the syringe.

"Really? Have you tried it? Don't use me as a guinea pig!"

"Don't worry, I used this when I was injured last time! It worked really well, and I guarantee you won't feel any pain for four or five hours!"
Night Owl pushed the medicine in directly, using a bit too much force and lacking experience, causing Xu Nuo to cry out in pain:
"Damn it! Be gentle!"
Xu Nuo covered the needle prick where blood was seeping out, and glared angrily at Night Owl:
"I think you broke my ribs!"
"Nonsense! You could have held on with broken ribs! You would have been yelling by now!"
As Night Owl spoke, he looked at Lin Zheng's window again.

Xu Nuo asked.

After hearing what Night Owl said, Xu Nuo felt it made sense, and suppressed the suspicion in her heart. Turning her head and seeing Night Owl's somewhat disappointed expression, she smiled and said:
"It's alright! Your brother will take care of you! I'll fight them for you in a bit!"
As he spoke, he put his arm around Night Owl's shoulder and said, "You beat me up so badly, and I didn't even blame you!"
"Get lost! You're only a few months older than me, how dare you!"
The night owl's worries were dispelled by Xu Nuo's two words, and he regained his usual composure.

Xu Nuo got out of the car and waved to Night Owl:
