Ye Linyan's gaze lingered on Xu Nuo's neck for a few seconds. Xu Nuo turned her head and saw Ye Linyan staring blankly at the two hickeys. A sense of panic flashed through her heart.
Ye Linyan expressionlessly reached out and pushed Xu Nuo's face to the side, exposing her entire neck. The two hickeys were no longer hidden and were fully visible to Ye Linyan.
Xu Nuo wanted to say something to ease the somewhat suffocating atmosphere.
He's starting to regret it now, regretting how he's been so manipulative in forcing Ye Linyan to admit he likes him, forcing him to confront their past...
Xu Nuo would rather Ye Linyan still think about marriage like she did a few months ago, and reject and resist this relationship in her heart!

Upon hearing Xu Nuo's reply, Ye Linyan's eyes seemed to redden as he stared intently at the neck.
Those things he had previously considered rumors began to replay automatically in his mind:
'He's already in Nan Qing'an's bed!'
'Your bed-warming dog! It's long since changed masters and is now warming Nan Qing'an's bed!'

His other hand, resting on his lap, clenched into a fist. He took a long breath before finally uttering the words weighing on his heart:
"You slept with him...?"
Xu Nuo chuckled, a laugh that sent chills down Ye Linyan's spine.
"How could you ask such a stupid question!"
Xu Nuo pulled down the hand that was pushing against her cheek, and looked at Ye Linyan with a half-smile:
"Those two shots didn't hit your head! How come you've become stupid!"
Just as Xu Nuo was about to pull her hand back, Ye Linyan grabbed it and pressed it onto the bed, his chest heaving as he growled:
Answer me!
Xu Nuo trembled at Ye Linyan's shout, and smiled at him with her eyes crinkled:
"Your question is too simple! Haven't you seen it all?"
Xu Nuo sat up, trying to pull her hand away from his grip. She tried, but found that Ye Linyan's large hand was like an iron clamp, so she gave up the idea and tugged at her t-shirt that had been lifted up.
"If you ask me what tricks we've tried in bed, I can tell you one by one!"
Xu Nuo spoke the last few words slowly and deliberately, as if afraid that Ye Linyan might not understand!
Ye Linyan's heart skipped a beat, and a surge of anger rushed to his head. He pressed down on Xu Nuo's hand even harder.
The bed was a bit hard, and Ye Linyan pressed his hand down on it so hard that his knuckles ached, and he couldn't help but hiss.
Seeing Ye Linyan's increasingly cold and somber expression, Xu Nuo suddenly smiled, licked his exposed little tiger tooth, and said:
What's with that expression? Want to eat someone?
Xu Nuo shifted her body slightly backward, taking advantage of Ye Linyan's momentary pause to pull her hand out and place it in her other hand, gently rubbing it herself:
"We're both going to get our marriage certificate! Is it so strange to sleep together?"
"Go to bed! Is that so strange?"
These words seemed to have been swallowed and chewed up by Ye Linyan, then squeezed out from between his teeth!
Ye Linyan felt a sharp pain in his heart. Those seven words seemed to transform into seven sharp swords, piercing through his heart one by one, causing him to bleed profusely!
Lowering his eyes, Ye Linyan swallowed the pain, until his chest felt like it was being torn apart, before letting out a low laugh:
"Arno, don't try to provoke me! I've already told you, I already know what you're trying to do..."
Ye Linyan didn't look up at Xu Nuo. He thought that his guess was right. Xu Nuo was too good at pretending and lying. He couldn't fall for his tricks!
He dared not look at Xu Nuo, afraid to see the irony in his familiar eyes!
"Why would I deliberately provoke you? That's a strange way of putting it!"
Pulling her coat tighter, Xu Nuo thought to herself, "It's too cold here. If this were Yuncheng, I wouldn't even be able to wear a coat anymore."
It seems the climate here really isn't suitable for people to stay for long!
"I've already made myself clear to you! You just didn't believe me! What good would it do me to anger you? I'm more afraid you'll come at me!"
Xu Nuo smiled as he looked at his body. Every wound on his upper body was accompanied by pain as he moved and spoke.
"I can't take your hits now! So, you're overthinking it! I was just answering your question truthfully!"
"Arno, stop fooling around!"
Ye Linyan kept his head down, his fists clenched tightly, suppressing his emotions.
"Let's have a proper talk! A proper talk!"
