Xu Nuo didn't refuse and finished the bowl of meat porridge.
Yang Zhao had already told him about his drug addiction. Apart from feeling unwell from time to time every day, he didn't feel anything anymore!

It took Xu Nuo almost an hour to piece together one image.
It was a landscape painting of a rainbow after the rain. Xu Nuo stared at the rainbow for a long time before looking up.
Seeing that Ye Linyan hadn't stopped typing, she tilted her head, which aggravated the wound on her neck. It didn't hurt as much anymore, but she still straightened her head back.
Xu Nuo was puzzled. She had seen Ye Linyan use the computer for work before, but he mostly just looked at it and occasionally typed. Today, however, he had been typing non-stop since she woke up...
After pondering it over in her mind for a few minutes, Xu Nuo pursed her lips before speaking:
"What are you doing?"
Ye Linyan stopped, looked up at Xu Nuo, and smiled slightly:
"will."
Xu Nuo paused for a moment, then confirmed again:
"What?"
"will."
Ye Linyan turned the computer around on her lap so that the screen faced Xu Nuo.
Xu Nuo's gaze fell on the computer screen, and the two large characters 'will' jumped into his eyes.
"You...you wrote...why did you write it...?"
Xu Nuo couldn't say the words "will," so he used "it" as a substitute.
Ye Linyan closed his laptop, glanced at the picture Xu Nuo had pieced together on the bed, and after a long while, shifted his gaze back to Xu Nuo's thin face:
"Arno, Dr. Yang said you're very resistant to treatment..."
Seeing Xu Nuo lower her eyes, Ye Linyan tried to make her voice sound gentler:
I didn't mean to blame you!
"Dr. Yang told me that people with severe depression are prone to suicidal thoughts at any time, and sometimes they can't control themselves and have thoughts of taking their own lives!"
"But what happened last time can't happen again! Arno, I can't take it!"
As Ye Linyan spoke, the scene in the bathroom that morning flashed through her mind, and her eyes reddened slightly.
"I've thought it through these past couple of days. If you really feel that living is painful..."
Ye Linyan choked up and continued:
Even if I watch over you 24/7 without sleeping, it won't help! It will only make you suffer more!

Ye Linyan smiled, raised his hand to touch Xu Nuo's cheek, and lifted his head to make him look at him:
"But I will stay with you!"

Xu Nuo could see the sincerity in Ye Linyan's eyes; he had always disdained lying!
"I'll be with you! You know I mean what I say!"
Ye Linyan stroked Xu Nuo's cheek with her thumb, smiling at him:
"The day you woke up, I had a very long dream. In the dream, there was a very, very dark road. Later, I realized that it was the road to the underworld!"
"You were crouching on the ground, crying! I know you're most afraid of the dark!"
Ye Linyan paused, composed himself, and then continued:
"It's dark and cold there! How can I let you go alone?"
"Arno, you wouldn't have the heart to leave me all alone in this world, would you? How could you bear to do that?"
Tears welled up in Xu Nuo's eyes, swirling in a misty haze, as if they were about to spill over at any moment...
Ye Linyan got up, sat on the edge of the bed, pulled Xu Nuo into his arms, and rested his chin on the top of Xu Nuo's head:
"I won't force you anymore~ If you want to leave, we'll go together! No matter where we go, we'll be together! That road is so dark and cold, and there will be wandering ghosts and spirits bullying you along the way. How can I let you go alone..."
Xu Nuo opened her arms and wrapped them around Ye Linyan's waist, soaking his shirt.
"Arno, it was all destined!"
Ye Linyan tightened his grip on Xu Nuo's hand even more:
"Think about it, back when I was in the underground boxing ring, I worked so hard to survive every fight because you were still there waiting for me at home!"
"Back then, the two of us shared one life! Now! You also carry the weight of both of our lives on your shoulders! Just like we did at the beginning!"
Gently patting Xu Nuo's back, Ye Linyan lowered her head and kissed his cheek:
"Don't be afraid, no matter what you do, I'll be with you! Always with you..."

Xu Nuo lay on his side, with Ye Linyan on his back, holding Xu Nuo's hands tightly and never letting go.
Xu Nuo shifted his body and spoke:
"Brother, let's go home..."
Ye Linyan paused for a moment, then replied:
"You can't be discharged yet. Wait a few more days before we go home!"
"But this bed is so cramped!"
Ye Linyan pulled Xu Nuo closer to his chest and chuckled softly:
"It's much bigger than a regular hospital bed, it's just not a double bed!"
Suddenly remembering something, Ye Linyan's smile froze on his lips:
"Arno, don't you want to sleep with me?"
Not hearing Xu Nuo's reply, Ye Linyan lowered his head and kissed Xu Nuo's hair.
"It's okay, I'll go to the bed next to me!"
Just as Ye Linyan was about to get up, Xu Nuo grabbed his hand and pulled him back, slowly turning him around. She buried her head in Ye Linyan's chest and said in a muffled voice:
"It's so crowded! I'm afraid I'll fall asleep and fall out..."
