Sweet Weekend Advanced Plan
On Friday afternoon, Lin Jingshang was packing up to leave work when his computer screen suddenly started flashing uncontrollably. A pink pop-up window appeared, displaying the title: "[Ding! Your personalized Sweet Weekend Enhancement Plan has been generated, please check!]"
Lin Jingshang's eyelids twitched, a sense of foreboding creeping over him.
He clicked on the pop-up window, and the listed schedule almost made him spit out the water he had just drunk.

Lin Jingshang felt a chill run down his spine as he looked at the densely packed plan.
He took a screenshot and sent it to Xie Dang.
[Lin Jingshang]: Help! It's gone mad! What kind of crazy plan is this?! (Attached image: Weekend plan)
[Xie Dang]: Received. The feasibility of the plan is less than 10%, and its entertainment value is negative. The blocking procedure has been initiated.
The moment the message was sent, Lin Jingshang's phone calendar started adding events automatically and frantically, beeping incessantly. He tried to delete them, but they were immediately restored after he did.
[Lin Jingshang]: I can't delete it! It's stuck to my calendar!
【Xie Dang】: Force synchronization, attempt to overwrite.
A few seconds later, Lin Jingshang's calendar was cleared and then a single event was added back, from Xie Dang's shared calendar.
[Saturday-Sunday]: Data processing and model optimization.
Lin Jingshang breathed a sigh of relief and sent Xie Dang a thumbs-up emoji.

The system clearly won't give up easily.
Early Saturday morning, Lin Jingshang was woken up by the doorbell. When he opened the door, he saw a food deliveryman standing there, holding a large bunch of wilted flowers and carrying a plastic bag.
"Hello, Mr. Lin? This is your weekend surprise meal." The deliveryman handed over the food.
Lin Jingshang took the plastic bag and saw two bright yellow towels inside, which were eye-catching, as well as two pairs of slippers of the same style but different colors, one pair of fluorescent green and the other pair of Barbie pink.
There was also a card in the bouquet.
[System message: Start by sharing home furnishings to create your loving home! Have a wonderful weekend!]
Lin Jingshang stared blankly at the ugly bouquet of flowers and the even uglier towel slippers, then closed the door. He tossed the items into a corner, took a picture, and sent it to Xie Dang.
[Lin Jingshang]: The system's "surprise" has arrived. (Attached image: Ugly flowers, ugly towel, ugly slippers)
[Xie Dang]: An aesthetic disaster; I suggest discarding it directly.
[Lin Jingshang]: Throw it away! It must be thrown away!
That's what he said, but Lin Jingshang looked at the fluorescent green slippers, put them on and tried them on.
Hmm, the size is actually just right.

On Saturday morning, Lin Jingshang was tidying up his room at home when his phone would ring with a piercing notification every hour, displaying a pink warning: [Warning! Key personnel detected not in collaborative purchasing status! Intimacy Points -1!]
[Friendly Reminder: Supermarket's limited-time discount is only valid today! Matching towels are waiting for you to take home!]
He immediately turned off the phone and put it in the drawer.
In the afternoon, Lin Jingshang decided to go to the library near the company to look up some information. Just as he stepped out of the apartment building, a familiar car slowly stopped in front of him.
The car window rolled down, revealing Xie Dang's expressionless face.
"Get in the car."
Lin Jingshang was taken aback for a moment, then opened the car door and got in: "Why are you here?"
Xie Dang stared ahead, a hint of annoyance in his voice: "The system continues to interfere with the apartment's network."
Were they forced to seek refuge?
Lin Jingshang wanted to laugh, but also felt a sense of shared misfortune.
The car eventually stopped downstairs at the company building. The office building was empty and quiet on the weekend, making it a good place to take refuge.
Xie Dang turned on his computer and began processing the data.
Lin Jingshang took out his books and notebooks from his backpack and found a comfortable spot to sit on the sofa in the reception area.
After a while, his eyes started to ache, so he got up to go to the break room to get some water. When he returned, he found Xie Dang standing by the window, looking down at the bustling crowd on the street below, couples who were probably carrying out the system's perfect weekend plan.
"What are you looking at?" Lin Jingshang walked over and handed him a glass of water.
Xie Dang took the water glass and took a sip: "Analyzing group behavior patterns is inefficient, and most participants look distressed."
Lin Jingshang followed his gaze and saw several couples arguing about the route or some other trivial matter.
He couldn't help but laugh: "It's better this way."
Xie Dang turned to look at him and nodded slightly: "Mm."
In the afternoon, my phone suddenly beeped; my takeout had arrived.
Lin Jingshang went downstairs to pick up the takeout, returned to his office, and spread the food out on the coffee table. It was from the Hong Kong-style tea restaurant he often frequented near his home, and the dishes were all the usual ones he ordered according to the two of them.
"Let's eat first." Lin Jingshang handed Xie Dang disposable chopsticks.
Xie Dang closed his laptop, walked over, sat down, and savored the food.
"It tastes good," he commented objectively.
"Right? I've been eating here for years." Lin Jingshang was a little smug as he picked up a piece of chicken feet with black bean sauce and put it in his bowl. "This is delicious too, you should try it."
Xie Dang picked up a chicken foot, deftly deboned it, and nodded after finishing: "The cooking time was perfect."
After finishing his meal, Lin Jingshang packed up his lunchbox and pulled out two items from the bottom of the paper bag. They were game tokens provided by the restaurant, printed with the tea restaurant's logo, which could be used on the old claw machine at the entrance.
"Oh, there's this too." Lin Jingshang put the game coins in his palm and handed them to Xie Dang to see.
Xie Dang picked one up and examined it: "It's made of alloy, and the plating process is just average."
Lin Jingshang chuckled: "Who asked you about the material! Let's go, we have nothing else to do, let's try our luck?"
Xie Dang had little interest in probability games, but seeing Lin Jingshang's bright eyes, he nodded nonetheless.
The two went downstairs and walked to the claw machine at the entrance of the restaurant, which was filled with all sorts of ugly-cute plush toys.
Lin Jingshang inserted a coin, manipulated the joystick, and the claw wobbled down, grabbing the head of a green dinosaur. He lifted it shakily and dropped it in mid-air.
Oh no! So close!
Xie Dang stood behind him, observed the machine's operation for a while, and said, "The claw strength is set too low, and the gripping point is not selected properly. The probability is less than 5%."
"Don't just analyze, you try it yourself!" Lin Jingshang pushed him in front of the machine.
Xie Dang inserted another game coin, his finger resting on the joystick, his eyes focused as he calculated the angle and landing point before pressing the button. His claw descended, hooking around the waist of a pink pig wearing sunglasses, lifting it steadily and smoothly carrying it to the exit, where the pig fell out.
Lin Jingshang stared in disbelief as he picked up the adorably ugly little pig and looked at Xie Dang: "Did you secretly practice before?"
Xie Dang replied calmly, "Applications of basic physics."

On Sunday morning, Lin Jingshang woke up in Xie Dang's guest room. The reason was simple: the two of them had stayed in the office too late on Saturday night, and Xie Dang said that going back and forth was inefficient, so he took him directly back to the apartment.
Lin Jingshang was too lazy to refute this. Anyway, he had slept in the guest room bed, there were still his clothes in the closet, and the toiletries were readily available. It was more convenient than going back to his own home.
He yawned as he walked out of the guest room and found that Xie Dang was already up, standing in front of the balcony in the living room.
"Good morning." Lin Jingshang rubbed his eyes and walked over. "What are you looking at?"
As he approached, he followed Xie Dang's gaze to the pot of mint and immediately gasped.
Yesterday, the mint was lush and green, but now large patches of its leaves near the roots are scorched yellow, and the plant looks wilted and droopy, as if it had been burned.
"What...what's going on?"
Lin Jingshang knelt down with heartache, not daring to touch the scorched yellow leaves. He had always taken good care of this pot of mint, which was the starting point of his dream of a herb-filled balcony.
