Chapter 9: Teaching Her
"You're so bad at kissing." Su Zhiluo squinted and pressed her finger to Liu Chengxu's lips. Liu Chengxu's face turned red. She wanted to call her "sister-in-law," but Su Zhiluo said, "I'll teach you. Stick your tongue out."
Liu Chengxu cautiously extended the tip of her tongue, and Su Zhiluo gently licked it, sucking on the tip of her tongue. Her soft lips enveloped Liu Chengxu, and unlike the many stolen kisses in the past, this one was more lingering and moist.
In the few seconds before her mind completely spiraled out of control, Liu Chengxu suddenly recalled the first time she called Su Zhiluo "sister-in-law." She was only thirteen years old then, and she vaguely sensed that her older sister seemed to be in love—her sister would often suddenly stare blankly at her phone, and then unconsciously raise the corners of her mouth, a smile that lingered for a long time. Her eyes seemed to shimmer with clear water, like the surface of a lake touched by a fingertip, rippling outwards with a gentle wave.
Back then, smartphones had just come out. Her sister had an iPhone, and she was addicted to it, so she secretly took her sister's phone to play games. While chatting privately, she noticed that her sister's QQ was flashing, so she curiously clicked on it to take a look.
She sent a picture of a girl with a cute bun hairstyle to her sister: "Okay, call me whatever you want, but don't call me that in front of me."
She scrolled up and saw her sister's post: "Wife."
Upon seeing the other person's name, "Luo Luo Baby," Luo Luo Baby replied: 【(OO)】
Her sister: [Can I call you that, wife?]
Luo Luo Baby: 【nonono!】
Her sister: 【Has Luo Luo eaten yet?】
Luo Luo Baby: [I ate cauliflower, it was delicious.]
While she was secretly watching, "Luo Luo Baby" kept sending her messages, and she couldn't help but reply: "[You're a girl.]"
Luo Luo Baby: [You're a bad child.]
Liu Chengxu was startled and quickly deleted the two paragraphs. She replied guiltily, "Wife."
Luo Luo Baby: [Mmm.]
Then, when she heard her sister was coming, she quickly deleted all her chat history and hid her phone under her pillow. By the time her sister found it, the phone wasn't so hot anymore.
Liu Chengxu was afraid her sister would scold her, and she couldn't quite understand how her sister talked to girls. At that time, she didn't have any awareness of being a lesbian. She just thought her sister's taste was strange. While being wary of her sister discovering that the game was still running, she secretly called out "sister-in-law" with her heart pounding.
Liu Chengxu wasn't very good at kissing, so Su Zhiluo first pressed her down to teach her how to kiss, and then, finding her too clumsy, Su Zhiluo simply flipped over and sat on her lap, putting her hands on her shoulders to kiss her.
Liu Chengxu's lips were like newly melted snow, moist and soft, constantly oozing a subtle moisture. In that tiny gap where the snow had melted, there was her silent consent. She swallowed slightly, and Su Zhiluo kissed her even deeper with tenderness; she swallowed again, as if drinking silent snow water, swallowing all the unspoken desires.
Su Zhiluo leaned against her, tired, and asked, "Aren't you going to touch me?"
Liu Chengxu didn't understand and looked at her in confusion. Su Zhiluo's hand was placed on the back of her hand, and then touched her collar and the rise and fall of her chest. Su Zhiluo was about to speak again when Liu Chengxu raised his hand and covered Su Zhiluo's mouth.
Su Zhilu kissed her palm and taught her how to pinch it.
Liu Chengxu almost burst into tears several times, but finally let his hand fall and rest on Su Zhiluo's shoulder. He forced himself not to call her sister-in-law, but called her Sister Luoluo instead.
"Hmm...keep calling."
"Sister Luo Luo."
When drunk, Su Zhiluo is not as gentle as usual. She will take the initiative to kiss, ask to be touched, and lean on her for breath.
Liu Chengxu was like a drowned fish.
Su Zhiluo lay on top of her, hooking the edge of her bra down a little.
She looked at Liu Chengxu, and Liu Chengxu looked back at her. Su Zhiluo raised her shoulders slightly.
In winter, white snow falls in a rush.
Liu Chengxu's palms rested on the snow, trembling with fear and burning heat. A kind of pain seeped into her bones. She refused to be like this, yet she succumbed to it. She tried her best to pull her arms back, but her fingers expanded the contact area with Su Zhiluo.
Her cheeks were wet from crying, and she couldn't help but choke back sobs.
"Why are you crying?"
Liu Chengxu was unaware that she was crying as she practiced pushing.
Su Zhiluo and she touched forehead to forehead, the brief distance allowing them to feel the trembling of each other's lips. The strong scent of grapes mixed with the aroma of wine filled their nostrils. "It feels like I'm bullying you."
Liu Chengxu burst into tears.
"...No, it's..."
"Hmm, what?"
Liu Chengxu bit her lip, trying not to let out a sound. As tears slid down her cheeks, she turned her head to wipe them away. A slight tickle ran down her cheek, and Su Zhiluo's soft red lips pressed against it, kissing away the tears.
I like it, but I'm also afraid of it.
Su Zhilu kissed her again, and the kiss made her feel less afraid.
*
When Su Zhiluo woke up the next day, she wasn't exactly short-circuited, but she just couldn't quite connect everything together. She lay flat on her back looking at the ceiling, trying to remember whose face she had kissed yesterday. If it was Liu Jinhuan, then it must have been a dream; if it was Liu Chengxu, then she had forced herself on... Liu Chengxu.
Liu Chengxu lay asleep on her side, her long, black hair cascading down like silk, gently intertwining with Su Zhiluo's arm. Her breathing was steady, and her profile appeared exceptionally soft in the morning light. Su Zhiluo glanced at her briefly before looking away, but her heart skipped a beat.
The pink Kitty cat pajamas Liu Chengxu wore accentuated her fair skin. She lay quietly, her whole body sinking into the soft bedding, exuding an unguarded, fluffy cuteness.
Half an hour later, Su Zhiluo got ready, and Liu Chengxu stirred a couple of times and slowly woke up, calling her "sister-in-law".
Su Zhiluo nodded, pressing her throbbing temples.
Su Zhiluo didn't ask about yesterday's events. She sat for a while and then said, "What do you want for breakfast? I'll make it."
"I'll go." Liu Chengxu crawled out of bed. "You rest for a day, I'll go cook some sweet fermented rice balls."
"Still drinking?" Su Zhiluo asked.
Liu Chengxu rubbed his temples. "So, what do you want to eat?"
"Want me to boil some dumplings?"
"OK."
As Liu Chengxu left the room, Su Zhiluo slowly remembered a detail and cried. His blurry face was wet as he cried towards her.
However, looking at Liu Chengxu's back, Su Zhilu thought that he probably didn't have any drunken misbehavior, otherwise Liu Chengxu wouldn't have been able to get up to cook in the morning, because her cooking skills couldn't possibly be that good.
Liu Chengxu stood by the stove, his fingers tugging at the hem of his pajamas.
I ate noodles for breakfast.
"Who gave you the wine?" Su Zhiluo asked her in confusion.
Liu Chengxu: "I told you yesterday that Aunt Zhang won it in the supermarket members' lottery. She said it was priced at 180 yuan."
Aunt Zhang always felt bad about having Liu Chengxu tutor her, so she sent him nice things.
After Su Zhilu finished eating her noodles, she packed away about a third of the New Year's goods she had brought back from the company, including cured meat and rice cakes, and the two of them delivered them to Zhang Guilan.
Zhang Guilan refused for a long time, but Su Zhiluo stuffed the bones into her hands and left. A little while later, Zhang Guilan brought over a few beef bones, saying that the butcher had lent them to her from his stall so they could cook them.
The neighbors had lived together for many years and were used to helping each other. If someone cooked a little extra or got something new, they would always share some with their neighbors. Su Zhiluo had a good temper, and almost everyone in the building got along with her.
Only one or two families, after hearing that she liked women, openly or secretly avoided her. Some young people's thinking is not as clear as that of the elderly. From the beginning, Zhang Guilan often advised her: "Zhiluo, you should find a companion. It's always too lonely to be alone. Don't always think about the past."
In the afternoon, Su Zhiluo took Liu Chengxu to buy new clothes for the New Year. Liu Chengxu didn't want them, but Su Zhiluo insisted, saying, "When you go to school for the New Year, everyone in the dormitory will be wearing new clothes and praising each other, 'Did you buy these for the New Year? They suit you so well.' You'll be speechless, how embarrassing! Besides, you can wear one piece for several years, a new look for the New Year."
Su Zhiluo was worried that she would be ostracized at school and didn't want her to be looked down upon. Su Zhiluo always tried to give her what others had.
On the way, Su Zhiluo went to the business hall to inquire about broadband. Someone there had installed the internet before, and all she needed was an optical modem. However, the broadband installation fee was quite high.
After discussing it, the two agreed that it wasn't really necessary, since Liu Chengxu was basically not at home once school started.
Su Zhiluo said, "After summer vacation, since you'll be staying home a lot, we'll install one."
"Okay." Liu Chengxu thought that he would save half of the money so that his sister-in-law wouldn't have to work too hard. With the internet, the two of them could make more video calls, and Su Zhiluo could even open an online store or something.
In the past, they would go to the older alleys to buy clothes, mostly buying from Guangzhou and reselling them at cheaper prices. This time, Su Zhiluo took her to a shopping mall to pick out a coat for her.
Su Zhiluo loves beauty. She believes that just as having a well-fitting bra can help you stand tall and proud, a girl should have a favorite coat when winter snow arrives.
She tried on several of this year's trendy white, pink, black, charcoal, and bright red colors. Su Zhiluo asked her, "Do you have a favorite style? Do you like the kind with ram's toggle buckles, or the kind with a belt?"
"black."
She saw that the black one was cheap, only 600.
Su Zhiluo looked at her helplessly, and Liu Chengxu said seriously, "Sister-in-law, I know you're afraid that I'll be looked down upon, but as long as it's bought by you, I'll like it no matter how I wear it, and none of my classmates wear such expensive clothes." She added, "I don't want this one either."
Su Zhiluo forcefully took the black dress down. Liu Chengxu looked really good in it. She said, "I haven't rewarded you with anything since you got into university. I'll buy this one. You look so good in it, especially with the scarf."
They lived a frugal life, but Su Zhiluo never let her feel ashamed or lose face in front of her peers. Su Zhiluo would say, "You look good dressed like this. I like it. Why are you always so frugal, you're a college student? Isn't money meant for you to spend?"
"Are you only giving me money?"
"Who else could I give it to but you?"
"Thank you, sister-in-law."
Su Zhilu missed many opportunities at her age and couldn't bloom as freely as they did. Based on her understanding of college students, she gave Liu Chengxu everything she could. She whispered, "Little country bumpkin."
Su Zhiluo dressed her in a blue shirt, high-waisted pants, and boots, which she had specifically chosen after observing how they were worn on mannequins at high-end stores. Liu Chengxu's demeanor was completely unlike that of a country bumpkin. She asked, "And now, sister-in-law?"
Su Zhiluo said, "A flower of worldly wealth and honor."
Later, Su Zhiluo took a fancy to a plaid coat and wanted to buy it for Liu Chengxu, but when she saw that the price was too expensive, Su Zhiluo thought that she hadn't prepared enough this time, and that she should save more money in the future so that she could buy whatever she liked.
After buying her clothes, Su Zhiluo went to Yongxiang Street. The alley was narrow, lined with shops selling similar styles at prices more than half that of department stores. These were all knock-offs made to resemble designer brands. Su Zhiluo tried on clothes at each shop. With her good figure, she picked the best fit and looked almost identical to the designer pieces. She pretended to be picky, asking where they got their stock. After some haggling, the coat was 180 yuan, and two navy blue turtleneck sweaters were 100 yuan.
She took out her money, and her phone buzzed. Liu Chengxu thought it was Yang Jie and looked down to see that it was labeled "Mom". She looked at Su Zhiluo, who hung up without explaining.
Both of them were carrying things. Su Zhiluo was sullen at first, but after a while she smiled and said, "Let's go out to watch fireworks this year for the New Year."
"Okay." Liu Chengxu's eyes lit up as well. She followed Su Zhiluo and looked down at Su Zhiluo's hair tie, remembering what Su Zhiluo had whispered yesterday: "Can you touch me often? I'm so swollen from thinking about you."
They bought some New Year's goods, oranges, dried fruit, and dishes to be prepared for the New Year. Most people here rent rooms, and many leave by train on New Year's Eve. Only a few families live here regularly, so it's unlikely that anyone would bring their children to visit for the New Year. Su Zhiluo still bought some White Rabbit and Golden Monkey milk candies.
The two of them ate out in the evening. They originally planned to have a revolving hot pot, but when they found out it cost 39 yuan per person, they were a little reluctant to spend the money, so they just had a bowl of noodles. After eating, they went to the supermarket to buy ingredients to have a good meal for the New Year.
The wind was biting cold, stinging people's cheeks. Su Zhiluo peeled a White Rabbit milk candy and gently fed it to Liu Chengxu's lips, then put one in her own mouth as well. She had bought several flavors, and as she savored them, she said, "The original flavor is still the best; it has a particularly rich milky aroma."
Liu Chengxu was slowly chewing candy, still holding a heart-shaped candy wrapper in his hand. Hearing this, he paused, lowered his eyes, and responded very softly, "Mm."
When Liu Chengxu left, he deliberately placed his computer next to Su Zhiluo's bed to download TV series and movies, and it was finished when he returned.
Liu Chengxu climbed into bed to get his clothes. Su Zhiluo took off her scarf and glanced over. Recalling the scene when she woke up that morning, she realized that she really liked the way Liu Chengxu looked when he was sleeping in her arms in his pajamas.
Thinking about it, and wondering where the memory came from, Liu Chengxu's eyes welled up with tears. He pressed his face against her neck and said, "Sister-in-law, I don't know how..."
Liu Chengxu reached for the computer and turned to look at Su Zhiluo.
Su Zhilu panicked for a moment, pulled off the scarf around her neck to suppress the missed heartbeat, and shook her head: "It's okay."
She didn't really want to recall Liu Chengxu crying.
I was really horny when I woke up this morning.
