Justice ultimately triumphs over evil
Faced with the sudden intrusion of the dark figure, Lin Yu, Suna, and the principal's nerves instantly tensed, as if struck by an invisible electric current. The air in the entire finance office seemed to freeze at this moment, and the tense atmosphere was like a thick dark cloud that made it difficult to breathe.
"What do you want?" Lin Yu demanded, his eyes glaring. His voice echoed in the silent space, filled with anger and determination. His heartbeat was pounding, each beat like the roar of a war drum, but his eyes remained unwavering, staring directly at the shadows without flinching.
The shadows remained silent, their heavy footsteps approaching step by step like a countdown to death. They exuded a creepy aura, as if they were demons crawling out of the dark abyss.
The principal protected Suna and slowly retreated. His forehead was covered with sweat, and his voice was trembling but firm: "Lin Yu, be careful!" His heart was full of worries, but he was also determined to never back down for justice.
Lin Yu gripped the stick tightly in his hand, the rough texture giving him a sense of reassurance. "Don't be afraid, we won't let them succeed!" he shouted, encouraging himself and his companions. Various possible scenarios flashed through his mind, but at this moment, he knew that retreat would mean failure and death.
The shadows suddenly accelerated and rushed over, their speed as fast as lightning, instantly shattering the brief peace. Lin Yu did not flinch, a flash of determination in his eyes, and swung his wooden stick to meet them. His movements were swift and powerful, and the stick drew an arc in the air, bringing with it a gust of wind.
For a moment, the finance office was in chaos. Lin Yu engaged in a fierce struggle with the shadows. The wooden sticks clashed with the shadows' limbs, creating a dull thud like a symphony from hell. Every impact sent a numbing sensation through Lin Yu's arms, but he gritted his teeth and fought back with all his might.
Su Na anxiously called out, "Lin Yu, be careful!" Her voice shrill with fear, tears welling in her eyes. She clenched her hands tightly, her nails digging deep into her palms, yet she felt no pain. Her heart was in her throat, and she worried every second about Lin Yu's safety.
The principal was also looking for an opportunity to help. His eyes scanned the surroundings, his mind working rapidly. Suddenly, he found a fire extinguisher in the corner. He rushed over without hesitation and picked up the fire extinguisher, as if grasping the last hope.
"You bastards!" the principal roared, spraying the shadows. White powder instantly spread, enveloping the entire space like a thick fog. The shadows' movements were hampered, and their figures became blurred in the powder.
Lin Yu took the opportunity to launch a more fierce attack, his eyes burning with anger, and he used up all his strength in every blow. His breathing was rapid and heavy, but his fighting spirit was getting higher and higher.
"Watch this!" Lin Yu shouted, and the wooden stick accurately hit the leg of a black shadow. The black shadow screamed and fell to the ground, rolling in pain.
"Don't let them run away!" shouted the fallen black shadow, his voice full of anger and unwillingness.
The other black shadows pounced on Lin Yu even more frantically, their attacks becoming more and more ferocious, like mad beasts. Lin Yu felt his physical strength rapidly draining away, but the faith in his heart supported him to continue fighting.
"I won't fall!" Lin Yu shouted in his heart, sweat soaked his clothes and flowed down his cheeks.
Just as Lin Yu was gradually losing strength, a siren suddenly sounded outside. The sound came from far away and approached, as if the dawn of hope had penetrated the dark clouds.
The shadows panicked instantly when they heard the sirens.
"Oh no, the police are coming!" a dark shadow shouted in horror.
They began to hesitate and their attacks became less resolute.
Lin Yu took this opportunity, swung the stick again, and hit a black shadow on the back.
"Go!" another dark shadow shouted.
The shadows turned around and tried to flee the scene.
"Don't run!" Lin Yu tried to catch up, but his legs felt as heavy as if they were filled with lead.
The principal and Suna quickly ran over to support Lin Yu.
"Are you okay, Lin Yu?" Su Na asked with concern, her eyes full of heartache.
Lin Yu gasped for breath, "I'm fine, luckily the police came."
At this time, the police had already rushed into the finance office and subdued the dark shadows who were trying to escape one by one.
"You've done a great job," a police officer said. "We will bring these criminals to justice."
Lin Yu, Suna and the principal finally breathed a sigh of relief. They knew that justice had finally triumphed over evil.
