Chapter 161: Dawn

The Dawn

After the shadows retreated, Lin Yu and Suna were still slumped to the ground, gasping for breath, their bodies unable to move due to extreme tension and exhaustion. Their heartbeats were like rapid drumbeats, and they had not yet recovered from the thrilling battle.

"Lin Yu, can we really get out alive?" Su Na's voice was filled with the weakness and confusion of someone who had just survived a disaster. Her eyes were empty and helpless, and tears were welling up in her eyes. She looked at Lin Yu, as if seeking the last glimmer of hope and courage from him.

Lin Yu looked at her, trying to make his eyes firm and powerful. "We can do this, Suna. We've been through so much, we won't be trapped here. God won't be so cruel. We will find a way out." His voice was firm, but his heart was filled with anxiety and fear. However, he knew that at this time, he had to be Suna's spiritual support.

They lay on the ground for a while, regaining some strength before struggling to stand and searching the cabin for an exit. The darkness inside was still thick, and every corner held an unknown terror. Their footsteps echoed in the silence, remarkably clear.

Lin Yu's eyes swept across the surroundings, not missing any possible clues. His hands groped along the wall, feeling the texture and temperature of each wooden board. "Suna, let's be careful, we will definitely find it." His voice rang out in the darkness, a hint of urgency.

Suna nodded, a glimmer of hope rekindled in her eyes. She also began to search carefully in the corner, her fingers trembling slightly with nervousness.

After a careful search, Lin Yu found a loose plank. When his hand touched it, a surge of excitement surged in his heart. "Suna, come quickly! I think this might be the way out," Lin Yu shouted excitedly, his voice full of anticipation.

Suna hurried over, her eyes twinkling. "Really?" Her voice trembled.

The two men pushed the wooden board together, and the board made a creaking sound, as if protesting their actions.

"Come on, try harder!" Lin Yu shouted.

Suna gritted her teeth and exerted all her strength. Finally, the wooden board was pushed open, and there was indeed a narrow passage hidden behind it.

The passage was filled with a stale smell, a mixture of damp earth and rotting wood. The darkness in the passage seemed even thicker, as if it was about to swallow them up again.

"Is this really a way out?" There was a hint of hesitation in Suna's voice.

"No matter what, we have to give it a try." Lin Yu took a deep breath and led the way into the passage.

They walked cautiously through the passage, the ground beneath their feet wet and slippery, water dripping from the walls from time to time, dripping onto their shoulders. The passage was so narrow that they could only pass sideways, their bodies rubbing against the walls, making a rustling sound.

"Lin Yu, I'm a little scared." Suna's voice echoed in the passage with obvious fear.

"Don't be afraid, Suna, I'm in front." Lin Yu reached out and held Suna's hand, trying to give her some comfort.

After walking for a while, a ray of light appeared in front of us. The light was faint and hazy, but in this endless darkness, it seemed so dazzling and warm.

"It's the exit!" Suna shouted excitedly, her voice becoming shrill with excitement.

They quickened their pace, running towards the light, their steps becoming hurried and chaotic, their hearts filled with a longing for freedom and safety.

When they emerged from the passage, they found themselves in an unfamiliar yet peaceful valley. The valley was filled with colorful wildflowers, which swayed gently in the breeze, as if welcoming them. The fragrance of the flowers filled the air, bringing a sense of peace and tranquility.

The warm sunlight shone upon them, dispelling the haze that had been shrouding them. The warm feeling was like a mother's embrace, making them feel extremely comfortable and at ease.

"We're finally out!" Lin Yu and Suna hugged each other and cried, tears streaming down their cheeks. Their cries were filled with joy and relief, and also contained an expression of the hardships they had experienced in the past.

Lin Yu raised his head, looked at the sky, and took a deep breath. "Suna, we survived." His voice was full of emotion.

Suna nodded, a bright smile on her face. "Yeah, we survived."

They strolled in the valley, feeling the hard-earned tranquility and beauty.

"After going through all this, I will never be afraid of any difficulties again." Suna said, her eyes became firm and confident.

Lin Yu looked at her with a smile: "We have all become stronger."

They recalled their horrific experiences in the forest, those dark moments, those moments of despair, which have now become a testimony to their growth.

"From now on, we must cherish our lives." Lin Yu held Su Na's hand tightly and refused to let go.

Suna leaned on Lin Yu's shoulder: "Well, we will."

In this beautiful valley, they seemed to have found a new meaning in life and were full of hope for the future.

The breeze blew gently, bringing a warm breath, as if telling them that everything would be fine.

With this unforgettable experience in mind, they hold hands, face the sunshine, and bravely move towards their future life.
