Cave Escape
The violent tremors of the cave plunged the entire space into chaos. The rocks above, like enraged beasts, broke free and plummeted to the ground with a roar of death. The ground also began to shake violently, as if it wanted to swallow Lin Yu and Suna whole.
"Oh no! The cave is collapsing!" Lin Yu yelled, his voice particularly shrill amidst the chaos. His eyes widened, filled with fear and despair. Every falling rock felt like it was hitting his heart, causing his breathing to quicken.
Su Na's face was filled with fear, a fear that went deep into her bones. Her lips trembled, and her voice was filled with tears: "What should we do then?" She looked at Lin Yu helplessly, as if he was her only lifeline in this world.
Lin Yu grabbed Suna's hand, which was sweaty from nervousness. "Run!" he shouted, his voice filled with determination. His mind was blank, his only thought was to take Suna away from this place that was about to become a grave.
They ran desperately back the way they had come, the ground beneath their feet shaking constantly, making their steps stagger and unsteady. Behind them came the continuous sound of falling rocks, each sound like the footsteps of death approaching.
"Lin Yu, I can't run anymore!" Suna gasped, her voice weak and feeble. Her legs felt as heavy as if they were filled with lead, and every step required immense effort. Her chest heaved violently, and she gasped for breath, as if she would suffocate at any moment.
Lin Yu looked back and saw that Suna's face was as pale as paper, and her eyes were full of despair. He gritted his teeth and said, "Suna, hold on, we can't die here!" His voice was firm and powerful, as if injecting a strong force into himself and Suna.
At this moment, a huge rock blocked their way. The rock was like a hill, standing in front of them and blocking their hope.
"Damn it!" Lin Yu cursed, his fist slamming hard on the stone. Blood flowed from between his fingers, but he felt no pain. His eyes were full of anger and helplessness, as if questioning why fate was so cruel.
They searched for other exits, their eyes frantically scanning the darkness. However, everything around them was blocked by fallen rocks, leaving not a single crack, not a single hope.
"Are we really going to be trapped here?" Suna cried desperately, her tears sliding down her cheeks, leaving two clear marks on her dusty face. Her body collapsed to the ground, as if all her strength had been drained away at this moment.
Lin Yu watched the rocks falling from above him, his heart filled with anxiety. His mind raced, thinking of every possible way to escape. But every thought was ruthlessly shattered by the harsh reality.
"No, there must be a way!" Lin Yu muttered to himself, his voice so small in the dead silence. His eyes fell on Suna, and a strong sense of responsibility surged in his heart. He knew that he couldn't let Suna die here like this.
"Suna, we can't give up! We will definitely find a way out!" Lin Yu walked to Su Na, helped her up, and looked at her with a firm gaze.
Su Na raised her head and looked at Lin Yu's determined eyes, and a glimmer of hope ignited in her heart. "Lin Yu, I believe you." She said, her voice weak but full of trust.
Lin Yu pulled Suna along and began to grope around in the small space. They searched every stone and every corner. The air was filled with dust and despair, making it increasingly difficult for them to breathe.
"Lin Yu, I feel like it's getting harder and harder to breathe." Suna said, with a hint of pain in her voice.
"Hold on a little longer, Suna!" Lin Yu said, his voice hoarse with anxiety.
Suddenly, Lin Yu found a loose stone. "Maybe there is a passage behind this!" he said excitedly.
They used all their strength to try to push the stone away, but the stone did not move at all, as if mocking their futile efforts.
"No, I can't push it!" Suna said in despair.
A hint of determination flashed in Lin Yu's eyes. "Let's push it up with our shoulders!" he said.
They took a deep breath and pushed their shoulders hard against the stone. Once, twice, three times... Finally, they pushed the stone open a little.
"Try harder!" Lin Yu shouted.
They pushed harder again, and the stone was finally pushed away, revealing a narrow passage.
"Hurry, Suna, go in!" Lin Yu said.
Su Na entered the tunnel first, followed closely by Lin Yu. The tunnel was filled with a foul smell that made people sick. But they ignored it and crawled forward desperately.
Suddenly, a low roar came from the front.
"What's that sound?" Suna asked tremblingly.
Lin Yu felt an ominous premonition in his heart. "I don't know, but we have no way out!" he said.
They continued to crawl forward, the sound getting closer and closer. Finally, they saw the scene in front of them, and were immediately frightened out of their wits.
