Chapter 191 The Mysterious Solution

The Secret Solution

They dragged their exhausted but hopeful bodies out of the darkness and found themselves back in the temple room. The room was filled with an old smell, and faint light shone through the dilapidated windows, dust particles dancing in the light, as if time had stopped here.

The temple keeper stood quietly before the stone platform, his figure blurred in the dim light. When he saw them appear, a hint of relief crossed his once tense face, yet the smile seemed strangely stiff and awkward. "Congratulations, you've passed the test." His voice echoed in the empty room, carrying an indescribable sense of age and mystery.

Lin Yu stepped forward impatiently, his eyes gleaming with anxiety, like a drowning man grasping at a straw. "Now, can you tell us how to break the Tai Sui curse?" His voice trembled slightly with nervousness, and his hands unconsciously clenched into fists.

The temple keeper nodded, his movements slow and solemn, as if each one carried an immensely heavy responsibility. He slowly extended his hands, dry as twigs, and gently flipped open the ancient book on the stone table. As the pages turned, an ancient and mysterious aura filled him, as if opening a door to an unknown world.

"To break this curse, you need to place Tai Sui on the altar on the top of the mountain on a full-moon night, water it with pure blood, and then recite a specific spell." The temple keeper's voice was low and hoarse, and every word seemed to come from ancient times, carrying an irresistible majesty.

Suna's brow furrowed upon hearing this, her eyes filled with confusion and worry. "Pure blood? What is that?" Her voice was filled with anxiety, and she twisted her hands nervously.

The temple keeper slowly turned his head and glanced at them. His gaze was deep and dark, as if he could see through their souls. "Pure blood is the blood of someone who has never had any evil thoughts." His response instantly made the atmosphere in the room even more solemn.

Upon hearing this answer, the old man couldn't help but sigh deeply. His weather-beaten face was etched with the marks of time, and every wrinkle seemed to tell of a heavy past. "Where in the world can I find such a person?" His voice was filled with helplessness and despair, as if this last hope was about to be shattered.

Lin Yu was silent for a moment, his gaze sweeping across everyone's face, his heart filled with conflict and struggle. But soon, his gaze grew firm, as if he had made a crucial decision. "No matter what, let's prepare for the full moon night sacrifice." His voice, though soft, was filled with strength and determination.

Everyone began to prepare for the upcoming full moon night, however, their hearts were filled with anxiety and worry.

Lin Yu searched the corners of the temple for something potentially useful, his heart as heavy as the dimly lit temple itself. "If we don't find the Pure Blood, all our efforts will be in vain," he muttered to himself as he searched, his hands frantic with nervousness.

Suna, on the other hand, was sorting the instruments needed for the ritual, but her mind was completely elsewhere. "Can we really succeed? This is all too unbelievable." Her heart was filled with fear and doubt. Every time she thought of the terrible curse and the unknown future, her hands would tremble uncontrollably.

The old man sat aside, staring blankly ahead, his mind replaying the temple keeper's words. "How could this be possible for someone who has never had any evil thoughts?" he muttered to himself, his heart filled with despair.

Outside the temple, the sky gradually darkened, dark clouds obscuring the moon, and the wind howled through the trees, as if nature were warning of impending disaster. The atmosphere in the room grew increasingly oppressive, and everyone was lost in their own thoughts, unable to extricate themselves.

Lin Yu stopped what he was doing, leaned against the wall, and took a deep breath. "We can't give up. There must be a way." He tried to cheer himself and everyone else up, but there was a hint of fatigue in his voice that he couldn't hide.

Su Na raised her head and looked at Lin Yu, with tears in her eyes. "Lin Yu, I'm really scared. If we fail..." Her voice choked and she couldn't say any more.

The old man stood up, walked to the window, and looked out at the dark world. "Perhaps this is our fate, but no matter what, we must give it a try." His voice was firm and heavy, as if he was making a final struggle against fate.

Time passed minute by minute, they waited for the arrival of the full moon night in a mixture of fear and hope, but the unknown fate, just like the darkness of the night, was unpredictable...
