The Curse is Lifted
Lin Yu was about to reach out to touch Tai Sui when the mysterious man suddenly stopped him: "Wait, Tai Sui's power is mysterious and unpredictable, we can't act rashly." The mysterious man's voice seemed particularly abrupt in the silent cave, with an unquestionable majesty.
Lin Yu's hand paused in mid-air. He looked at the mysterious man with confusion and anxiety in his eyes. "So what should we do?" he asked, a hint of anxiety in his voice. His eyes shifted back and forth between the mysterious man and Tai Sui, a mixture of hope and fear in his heart.
The mysterious man frowned slightly, lost in thought. A tense atmosphere filled the cave, the only sounds being the dripping water and the heavy breathing of the crowd. After a moment, the mysterious man raised his head and said with a firm gaze, "Use this special dagger and drip your blood on Tai Sui." He pulled a shimmering dagger from his pocket and handed it to Lin Yu.
Lin Yu took the dagger, his hands trembling with nervousness. The hilt of the dagger was inlaid with a strange gem, and the blade gleamed with a cold light, as if carrying a mysterious power. He took a deep breath, and without hesitation, he cut his finger, letting the blood drip onto Tai Sui.
Instantly, Tai Sui radiated an intense light, as dazzling as the sun, making it impossible to look directly at it. Countless runes seemed to flicker within the light, moving like living creatures within it, forming complex and mysterious patterns.
"Hurry up and recite the spell that the temple keeper told you before!" said the mysterious man anxiously, his voice full of tension and anticipation.
Lin Yu, Suna, and the old man hurriedly chanted the incantation in unison. Their voices echoed through the cave, blending with the light emanating from Tai Sui, forming a strange resonance. Lin Yu's voice was firm and powerful. He recited the incantation with complete concentration, his mind focused on a single thought: to lift the curse. Suna's voice was trembling and rapid, her heart filled with fear, but she still recited the incantation with all her might, hoping to save everyone. The old man's voice was low and hoarse, his eyes revealing a firm conviction, as if he were fighting a final battle against fate.
As the spell was chanted, Tai Sui's light gradually faded, becoming less dazzling. The air around him seemed to freeze, and time seemed to stop flowing. Lin Yu felt his heartbeat was particularly clear in the silence, and each beat was accompanied by fear and anticipation of the unknown.
After a moment, the light completely disappeared, and Tai Sui stopped moving and became quiet. The cave fell into darkness again, with only the faint light of the flashlight in Lin Yu's hand.
"Did it work?" Suna asked softly, her voice filled with uncertainty and fear. Her body was tense with nervousness, and her eyes were fixed on Tai Sui, not daring to blink.
The mysterious man smiled, a faint smile in the dim light. "It must have succeeded. The curse has been lifted." His voice was filled with a hint of relief and fatigue.
Everyone breathed a sigh of relief, their joy palpable. Lin Yu felt his body suddenly go limp. He slowly sat down against the cave wall, gasping for breath. "It's finally over..." he muttered, tears glistening in his eyes.
Su Na hugged Lin Yu excitedly, tears welling up in her eyes. "We did it, we really did it!" Her voice was filled with joy and excitement.
The old man smiled a long time ago, his eyes filled with hope for the future. "Yes, we have finally escaped this terrible curse," he said with emotion.
They walked out of the cave with Tai Sui. The sun was shining brightly outside, and the warm sunlight shone on them, as if welcoming their new life. A gentle breeze blew by, bringing the fragrance of flowers and plants, making people feel relaxed and happy.
Lin Yu closed his eyes, feeling the warmth of the sun, his heart filled with gratitude for life. "This feels so good..." he said, a happy smile on his face.
Suna opened her arms and spun in the sunlight, her laughter as clear as a silver bell. "We survived, we can start over!" she cried, her voice filled with hope for the future.
The old man looked at them, his eyes filled with love and relief. "Children, there is still a long way to go, but we have overcome the most difficult times," he said, his voice full of strength.
They looked back at the cave that had once been filled with fear, now appearing so peaceful in the sunlight. They knew that this terrifying experience would be forever etched in their hearts, becoming the most precious treasure of their lives. And in the future, no matter what difficulties they encountered, they had the courage and confidence to face them.
