The Last Stand
Facing this enormous and terrifying monster, everyone was filled with fear, but the director's firm words also inspired a final fighting spirit. In the dark castle, the monster's body was like an insurmountable mountain, exuding an endless sense of oppression.
The director charged forward first, his eyes burning with determination. The magic light in his hand pierced the monster like a brilliant sword. The light traced a dazzling path through the darkness, as if to tear the endless darkness apart. "Come on, beast!" the director roared, his voice echoing in the empty castle with fearless courage.
The monster roared, a roar like thunder, piercing everyone's eardrums. It swung its massive claws, whirring and slamming towards the director. Its claws sliced through the air, stirring up a gust of wind that seemed to sweep everything away. The director nimbly dodged, his body like a leaf in the wind, lightly avoiding the fatal blow. But the powerful wind pressure still made his clothes rustle. "Hmph, is that all you've got?" the director thought to himself, attacking again. The magic light in his hand became even brighter, like a meteor, rushing towards the monster.
Lin Yu followed closely behind. Although the pain in his leg slowed him down, he gritted his teeth and swung his weapon with all his might. Each swing seemed to exhaust all his strength. "I can't retreat. I can't let everyone down!" he mentally encouraged himself. His eyes were firm and persistent, fixed on the monster, trying to attract its attention and create more opportunities for the director to attack.
From afar, Suna continued to cast spells, her hands dancing and her voice muttering. Rays of light shot out from her hands, like sharp arrows, piercing the monsters. But these attacks seemed to be little more than a tickle to the monsters. "I must become stronger, I must help everyone!" Suna's heart was filled with anxiety and resentment, sweat streaming down her forehead and soaking her hair.
The mysterious woman and the old man also gave it their all, each unleashing powerful spells and abilities. The mysterious woman formed hand seals and muttered something, sending mysterious runes flying from her hands, surrounding the monster and attempting to restrain its movements. The old man raised his staff, the gem atop it gleaming as a powerful energy surged from it, charging towards the monster.
Enraged by the attacks, the monster opened its maw and spewed forth a stream of blazing flames. Like a surging dragon, the flames instantly swept over them. Wherever the flames touched, the air distorted and burned, emitting a sizzling sound. Everyone scrambled to avoid them, their figures weaving in and out of the flames, perilous.
"This won't work. We have to find its weakness!" the director shouted as he dodged the flames, his voice filled with anxiety and thought.
The mysterious woman dodged the monster's attacks while observing its movements. Her eyes were sharp and focused, not missing a single detail. "I see its belly seems to be vulnerable!" she shouted, a hint of excitement and hope in her voice.
"Then let's focus on attacking its belly!" Lin Yu responded loudly. His voice was trembling with excitement, but more so with determination.
Everyone turned their attacks towards the monster's belly. The director once again gathered his powerful magical power, and light gathered in his hands into a huge ball of light. He threw it towards the monster's abdomen with all his strength. Lin Yu endured the pain in his leg and rushed forward, weapon raised high, ready to deliver a fatal blow the moment the director's attack attracted the monster's attention. Suna also continued to cast more powerful spells, and light rushed towards the monster's abdomen like a torrent.
The monster sensed their intention and fought back even more frantically, waving its claws even more fiercely, spewing flames from its mouth, and its tail like a giant whip, sweeping across everything around it.
As Lin Yu rushed forward, he was hit by the monster's tail and flew out like a cannonball, hitting the wall heavily. "Lin Yu!" Suna shouted in horror.
Lin Yu struggled to get up from the ground, "I'm fine, continue!" Blood was flowing from the corner of his mouth, but his eyes remained firm.
The director's magic ball of light hit the monster's abdomen, but the monster only roared in pain and was not seriously hurt. "Everyone, work harder!" the director shouted.
The mysterious woman's runes finally succeeded in restraining the monster's movements, if only for a brief moment.
Lin Yu took the opportunity to rush forward and fiercely stabbed the monster's abdomen with the weapon in his hand. The monster let out a shrill roar and blood gushed out of the wound.
Seeing that it was effective, everyone attacked even harder.
The battle intensified, leaving everyone wounded. The director's clothes were tattered, his body covered in wounds. Lin Yu's leg injury was even more severe, and he could barely stand. Suna's mana was exhausted, her face pale as paper. The mysterious woman and the old man were also panting and exhausted.
But no one backed down. They had only one belief in their hearts, which was to defeat the monster and survive!
"We can do it!" the director shouted again. Although his voice was hoarse, it was full of strength.
Everyone responded in unison, their voices echoing in the castle, interweaving with the roars of the monsters, forming a tragic war song.
