Bravely fight the Gu beast
As the deep, menacing roar drew closer like rolling thunder, the tense atmosphere in the passage thickened like a materialized haze, becoming so thick it was almost breathless. Lin Yu and Suna could clearly feel the ground trembling slightly, each tremor like the heartbeat of an ancient beast, hammering heavily at their hearts, causing their heartbeats to accelerate rapidly in unison.
Suddenly, a Gu beast of staggering size burst forth from the darkness like a black ghost. Resembling a Qilin, it was covered in a layer of glistening black scales, like finely wrought armor. Between the cracks shimmered an eerie red light, like the eyes of a demon hidden in the darkness. Its eyes, like two enormous red lanterns, radiated a bloodthirsty, murderous gleam that seemed to penetrate the darkness and reach the heart, sending a chill down its spine. Its maw opened wide, its sharp fangs like blades, gleaming coldly in the dim light. Then, with a deafening roar, a nauseating, rancid stench washed over Lin Yu and Suna like a surging wave, nearly suffocating them.
"Be careful, this Gu beast is tough!" Lin Yu's voice rose slightly with nervousness. He warned Suna loudly while quickly commanding the Gu insects he had summoned. Like well-trained and brave warriors, they flashed with a dazzling array of colors, darting swiftly towards the Gu beast like a flowing rainbow through the dark passage. Lin Yu's heart was pounding. He knew the Gu beast before him was no match for him. He had to fight with all his might, or they would all be trapped.
Suna's eyes instantly sharpened like an eagle. She immediately directed her own Gu-worms, skillfully forming a siege with Lin Yu's, attempting to attack the Gu-beast from multiple directions. Her mind raced in the tense atmosphere, various strategies flashing through her mind like lightning. "Lin Yu, we have to find its weakness. We can't attack blindly!" Suna shouted, her voice echoing through the passage, a hint of anxiety but more of determination. She knew that facing such a powerful opponent, reckless action would only hasten their demise.
The Gu beast seemed to sense the threat posed by the insects. It jerked its massive head, and a stream of black air shot out of its mouth like black lightning. This stream of air was so fast that wherever it passed, the air seemed to be torn apart, emitting a sharp whistling sound. Lin Yu's insects were struck by the air currents, and their multicolored lights flickered instantly. Some of the insects were even sent flying like kites with broken strings, their light gradually dimming, and they lost their fighting power.
"This Gu beast's attack is too powerful!" Lin Yu was suddenly shocked, and an unprecedented sense of crisis surged in his heart. He knew that if this continued, the Gu insects they had painstakingly cultivated would soon be exhausted, and they would lose their most important fighting force. While controlling the remaining Gu insects to nimbly dodge the attacks, he kept a close eye on the Gu beast's every move, trying to find a flaw in its massive body.
Suna quickly focused, muttering something to herself as she cast a defensive Gu technique. A transparent shield slowly appeared in front of her, emitting a soft, mysterious glow, tightly enveloping her and Lin Yu. Seeing its attack blocked by the shield, the Gu beast roared in anger, a roar that threatened to collapse the entire passage. Its body began to swell rapidly, and the scales around it shone even brighter, like a burning flame, as if declaring its wrath and unyielding spirit.
Suddenly, the Gu beast's hind legs gave a powerful kick, and cracks instantly appeared on the ground. It slammed into the shield like a black cannonball, moving so fast that the attackers had no time to react. The immense force of the impact caused the shield to shake violently, rippling its surface like a boulder dropped into a calm lake. Lin Yu and Suna felt an almost irresistible force impacting the shield, as if it would shatter like fragile glass in the next second.
"Hold on, Suna! We can't let it defeat us like this!" Lin Yu shouted loudly, his voice full of determination and unyielding spirit. His eyes burned with a fiery fighting spirit. Although his heart was filled with fear, he knew that he could not retreat at this time and had to hold on with Suna.
At this critical moment, Lin Yu's eagle-like eyesight revealed that the scales on the Gu Beast's abdomen were thinner than those on other parts of its body. Furthermore, each time it attacked, its abdomen would be briefly exposed due to its large movements. "Suna, its abdomen might be its weak point! Let's focus our attacks there!" Lin Yu shouted at the top of his lungs, pointing at the Gu Beast's belly.
Su Na understood instantly, and she quickly adjusted the attack direction of the insects. Together with Lin Yu, they drove the insects like sharp arrows from a bow, swiftly attacking the belly of the beast. The insects flashed with a determined light, drawing brilliant tracks in the darkness.
The Gu beast seemed to sense the approaching danger and tried to evade it with its massive body, but Lin Yu and Suna's Gu worms were incredibly fast, following them like shadows. In an instant, the worms reached its abdomen and, without hesitation, bit it fiercely. The Gu beast let out a painful roar, a wail like a wail from the depths of hell, filled with rage and agony. It twisted its body violently, trying to break free from the worms' bite.
Black blood gushed from the Gu beast's abdomen like a fountain, pooling on the ground. It angrily swung its massive body like a giant tree in a gust of wind, trying to shake the Gu insects off. Some were unfortunately thrown away, the light dissipating into darkness, but some still clung tightly to it with their tenacious will, continuing their frantic attack.
