Warframe Ghost Duel
Lin Yu and Suna stared intently at the mysterious creature in ancient armor. The air around them seemed to freeze, the pressure so intense it felt suffocating. Lin Yu could clearly feel Suna's grip on his arm, tightening with nervousness, as if it were her only support in the face of this unknown terror. He tilted his head slightly and whispered soothingly, "Don't be afraid, we'll face this together." Yet, his own heartbeat was pounding like a drum, his chest a frantic deer pounding, his heart also filled with anxiety and trepidation.
Like a demon awakened from its slumber, the armored creature suddenly stirred. It slowly raised its longsword, its cold gleam flickering in the dense mist, like the icy scythe in the hand of the Grim Reaper, mercilessly harvesting the very breath of life. Almost instinctively, Lin Yu quickly shielded Suna behind him, shouting, "Suna, seize the opportunity to attack from the side while I attract its attention from the front." Suna nodded vigorously, her eyes revealing a resolute determination. She knew there was no retreat now; she had no choice but to muster the courage to fight.
The armored creature let out a deep, hoarse roar, a sound like the roar of a ferocious beast from the ancient abyss, shaking the walls of the passage slightly. Then, like a flash of black lightning, it rushed towards Lin Yu. Lin Yu took a deep breath, gripped his weapon tightly, and rushed forward against the powerful impact. In an instant, the metal clashed, emitting a sharp and piercing sound that seemed to pierce a person's eardrums. The sound echoed back and forth in this narrow and enclosed passage, making people feel creepy.
Lin Yu felt a surge of overwhelming force emanating from his arm, like a surging tide, instantly engulfing him. The force numbed his arm, making it nearly impossible to hold onto his weapon. He gritted his teeth, his facial muscles twitching slightly from the exertion, as he struggled to steady his precarious form. He thought to himself, "This thing's strength is beyond imagination. Fighting it head-on is like hitting a rock with an egg."
Taking advantage of the moment when the armored creatures were attacking Lin Yu with all their might, Suna's eyes flashed with determination as she quickly directed the Gu worms to stealthily approach from the side. Like a dazzling array of phantoms, the Gu worms loomed in the mist, darting towards the armored creatures at breakneck speed. Their wings vibrated, emitting a faint humming sound, as if a battle hymn. Just as the Gu worms were about to make contact with the armored creatures, the mysterious creature, as if sensing the approaching danger, swiftly dodged the attack with ghostly speed. Its agility, in stark contrast to its massive size, was chilling.
"Be careful, it's very alert!" Suna warned Lin Yu anxiously. Lin Yu nodded slightly, beads of sweat sliding down his cheeks, but his eyes were full of tenacity. He stared at the armored creature, trying to find a flaw in its seemingly impenetrable defense.
The armored creature didn't give Lin Yu much time to think. It attacked again, swinging its longsword like a violent storm, each strike aimed squarely at Lin Yu's vital points. Lin Yu dodged left and right under this intense attack, as if navigating a forest of swords. Despite his best efforts to dodge, he was still accidentally nicked by the sword blades. The blood quickly seeped through his clothes, a particularly glaring sight in the dim passage.
Suna watched Lin Yu injured, her heart aching with anxiety, a fire burning within her. She knew that if this continued, Lin Yu would eventually collapse, and she needed to find a solution quickly. She quickly glanced around, her eyes sweeping through every corner of the passage, searching for something that could help them escape their predicament. Suddenly, her gaze fixed on a few raised stones on the wall, their arrangement seemingly imbued with some mysterious pattern. A thought struck her: Could this be the key to defeating the armored creature?
"Lin Yu, I might have found a way. Just hold on a little longer!" Suna shouted anxiously, a glimmer of hope in her voice. Lin Yu struggled to dodge the attacks, responding hoarsely, "Okay, I'll try!" With each dodge, he felt his strength draining away, like a candle in his life burning out.
Suna didn't hesitate, quickly studying the arrangement of the stones. Her eyes betrayed concentration and persistence, her mind racing, trying to decipher the mystery. She discovered that touching the stones in a specific order might trigger a mechanism. So, she took a deep breath and began to rapidly touch the stones, following her theory. As she touched, faint glows emanated from the stones, sparks of light gradually converging into a mysterious and complex pattern.
The armored creature seemed to sense something was amiss. Its gaze, previously focused on attacking Lin Yu, slowly shifted to Suna. A strange light flickered in its eyes, as if warning Suna not to act rashly. Then, it temporarily paused its attack on Lin Yu, slowly turned, and walked toward Suna. Its footsteps were heavy and slow, each one seeming to tread on the hearts of Lin Yu and Suna, causing the ground to tremble slightly, as if proclaiming its majesty and inviolability.
Seeing this, Lin Yu was terrified. He knew Suna was in danger. Enduring the pain, he immediately chased after her, attacking the armored creature from behind, trying to prevent it from reaching Suna. His attack caused some disturbance to the armored creature, but it couldn't truly stop it.
Taking advantage of Lin Yu's restraint, Suna sped up her touches on the stones. Her fingers danced across the stones, as if playing a tense melody. Finally, as the last stone was touched, the wall shone brightly, a dazzling golden light instantly filling the entire passage. Within this light, a spear emitting golden light slowly emerged.
