Fierce battle with monsters, clues begin to emerge
Lin Yu and Suna, their nerves tense as they watched the horde of monsters surge toward them like a surging black tide. The leading monster was enormous, towering over the others by a head, towering over them like a mountain. It raised its head and let out a deafening howl toward the sky. The sound was as sharp as a blade, threatening to rip the once silent forest apart. As the howl rang out, the monsters seemed to be infused with mad power, their speed suddenly increasing. With their claws and fangs bared, they pounced on Lin Yu and Suna. The dark green light in their eyes shone like the flames of hell, emitting endless ferocity and greed.
Lin Yu knew he couldn't just sit there and wait for death. Like a swift bolt of black lightning in the night sky, he charged towards the horde of monsters without hesitation. His sword, wielded with force, shone with chilling glare, like a silver streak piercing the air as he fiercely slashed at the monsters. A slower-reacting monster, unable to dodge, was struck by the sword's precise blow, letting out a agonizing roar, like the cry of a torn soul. Black blood spurted from the wound like a fountain, splashing onto the surrounding ground and the other monsters, instantly filling the air with a pungent, fishy stench. However, the monster's injury didn't frighten the others; instead, it seemed to enrage them, driving them even more frantic. They recklessly charged towards Lin Yu with a force like an overwhelming force.
Lin Yu knew full well that these monsters were numerous and menacing. If they fought head-on, he and Suna would be doomed. They needed to rely on agility and keen observation to find their weaknesses. "Suna, try to use the poisonous insects to disrupt their vision. I'll look for opportunities to attack!" Lin Yu shouted at the top of his lungs, his voice echoing through the empty forest for a long time, carrying with it a firm belief and a desire for victory.
Without hesitation, Suna responded, "Got it. Be very careful!" Her eyes gleamed with determination and focus, as she quickly and intently directed the insects. As if they understood her command, the insects, like brave warriors at the call to charge, flew towards the monsters without hesitation. The insects swirled around the monsters' heads, forming a multicolored cloud, attempting to distract them and disrupt their attacks. The monsters were dazzled by the insects, their once orderly attacks suddenly becoming chaotic. Their movements began to sluggish, and they would occasionally lash out with their claws to catch the flying insects, but they always missed.
Lin Yu keenly seized the opportunity and, like a cheetah, lunged at the massive, leading monster. The monster seemed to sense Lin Yu's intentions, a fierce glint flashing in its dark green eyes. It spun abruptly, brandishing its blade-sharp claws, fiercely clawing at Lin Yu. The claws gleamed coldly in the moonlight, as if they could easily tear through anything that stood in their way. Lin Yu reacted with incredible speed, dodging the fatal blow with a sideways movement, his body a black phantom. Simultaneously, he thrust his sword into the monster's abdomen, attempting to deliver a crushing blow. However, the monster was incredibly strong, its skin and flesh incredibly thick. Lin Yu's sword grazed its body, leaving only a shallow wound from which a trace of black blood oozed.
"This monster has thick skin and tough flesh, and ordinary attacks won't have much effect on it!" Lin Yu was secretly anxious. His forehead was instantly covered with dense beads of sweat, and beads of sweat as big as beans slid down his cheeks and dripped onto the ground. He knew that he had to come up with a more effective method, otherwise this battle would become extremely difficult.
Suna also keenly sensed the gravity of the situation. She bit her lip tightly, a look of determination in her eyes. She concentrated all her energy, summoning all the Gu insects and attacking the leading monster's eyes. "Lin Yu, I'll attack its eyes, and you take advantage of the opportunity to attack!" Suna shouted, her voice filled with determination and resolve.
Like a multicolored cloud, the poisonous insects swarmed towards the monster's eyes at breakneck speed. The monster, sensing the approaching danger, twisted its massive body to evade, but the insects were too fast, and several instantly stung its eyes. The monster let out a deafening roar, a sound that seemed to shake the entire forest. It lashed its claws frantically, desperately trying to dislodge the insects. Its movements became frantic and chaotic, slicing through the surrounding trees, sending branches and leaves flying.
Lin Yu seized this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, gripping the sword tightly with both hands. He concentrated all his strength in his arms and slashed at the monster's neck with all his might. The sword whistled with the wind as it struck the monster's neck, making a dull clang, as if it were striking incredibly hard steel. But this time, thanks to Lin Yu's immense power, the sword left a deep wound on the monster's neck. Black blood gushed out like a fountain, staining the surrounding ground in pitch black.
The wounded leader seemed to frighten the others, their frantic attack disrupted, a flicker of panic in their eyes. Lin Yu and Suna seized the opportunity to launch a more ferocious attack. Lin Yu dashed through the horde with ghostly agility, his sword swinging relentlessly, each blow carrying overwhelming force. Monsters dodged wherever he struck. Suna, intent on directing her Gu worms, harassing the monsters from all sides. The Gu worms darted through the horde, stinging them periodically and causing them to roar in agony.
