Dark shadow raid, difficult breakthrough
Lin Yu held Su Na tightly behind him, like a towering mountain, shielding her from unknown dangers. His eyes widened as he stared intently at the rapidly approaching shadows, his gaze revealing both vigilance and determination. As the shadows drew closer like ghosts, their eerie aura grew stronger. Finally, they saw clearly that they were a group of towering werewolves, emanating an evil aura.
These werewolves stood over two meters tall, their bodies as sturdy as bears, their muscles bulging, as if imbued with boundless power. Their eyes gleamed blood-red, like two balls of burning evil flames, appearing particularly ferocious in the dim light, as if they could pierce through the soul, sending a chill down their spines. Sharp fangs, as long as daggers, jutted from their mouths, gleaming coldly in the dim light, as if they could tear apart any prey with a single blow. From time to time, they uttered low, muffled growls, the sound rolling like thunder in the confined space, as if denouncing Lin Yu and Suna, or announcing the coming of death.
"It's a werewolf! Suna, hide behind me, don't leave my side!" Lin Yu shouted, his voice echoing in the enclosed space with undeniable determination. He knew the power of werewolves well. These ferocious creatures were not only incredibly strong, capable of easily tearing a person to pieces, but also had lightning-fast agility, were as elusive as ghosts in the darkness, and were extremely aggressive. At that moment, his heart was beating violently in his chest, threatening to burst through, but years of adventuring experience acted as a stabilizing force, quickly calming him down. His mind began to race, nervously thinking about a response.
Su Na clutched the edge of Lin Yu's clothes tightly, her fingers turning white from the strain, as if it were her last straw in this abyss of terror. She could clearly feel Lin Yu's body tense, like a fully drawn bow. Fear and worry filled her heart, as if an invisible hand was tightening its grip on her heart. "Lin Yu, be careful," she whispered softly, a hint of undisguised trembling in her voice. She knew that in this perilous, nightmarish environment, she must remain calm and not become a burden to Lin Yu. So, she took a deep breath, trying to calm herself, and quickly summoned the Gu insect, ready to assist Lin Yu in the battle, to face this terrifying enemy side by side with him.
The werewolves surged in like a surging black tide, instantly surrounding Lin Yu and Suna. An exceptionally large werewolf, radiating an air of authority, must have been the pack's leader. It howled heavenward, its voice piercing and sharp, like a blade, as if it threatened to rip the enclosed space apart. Before the howl had even faded, it lunged at Lin Yu, its speed so swift it resembled a flash of black lightning streaking through the night sky, reaching him in the blink of an eye.
Lin Yu's eyes flashed, and he reacted incredibly quickly, dodging sideways. His movements were as nimble as a cheetah, and he dodged the werewolf's fatal blow at the last second. At the same time, he swung his sword, stabbing it towards the werewolf's abdomen. The sword gleamed coldly in the dim light, like a streak of silver. The werewolf reacted just as quickly, twisting its body nimbly in the air like a skilled dancer, skillfully avoiding the fatal blow. But Lin Yu's sword still inflicted a shallow wound on its body, and black blood immediately flowed out like a stream, emitting a pungent, fishy odor.
"Awooo!" the werewolf leader roared angrily, his voice filled with endless rage, as if he wanted to devour Lin Yu. He leaped high again and pounced on Lin Yu, his huge body tracing a black arc in the air. At the same time, the other werewolves were also inspired by their leader. Like hungry wolves seeing their prey, they rushed towards Lin Yu and Suna from all directions, emitting waves of terrifying howls.
Lin Yu brandished his sword, charging left and right among the werewolves like a fearless warrior. The sword flashed with cold light, constantly colliding with the werewolves' claws, splashing dazzling sparks that were particularly eye-catching in the dim space. Each collision was accompanied by the sound of metal clashing and the werewolves' roars, like a symphony of life and death. However, the number of werewolves was too great, pouring in like a tide, and Lin Yu gradually became somewhat powerless. His body was scratched in many places by the werewolves' attacks, and blood stained his clothes red. Every wound was painful, but he gritted his teeth, endured the pain, and continued to fight hard.
Seeing Lin Yu in danger, Suna was terribly anxious, as if a fire was burning in her heart. Her eyes were filled with worry and anxiety, and her heart was in her throat. She knew that she had to remain calm and concentrate on commanding the poisonous insects. The poisonous insects sensed their master's anxiety and determination, and like a group of brave and fearless warriors, they flapped their wings and flew towards the werewolves. They nimbly shuttled among the werewolves, biting their eyes, ears and other sensitive parts. The werewolves were attacked by the poisonous insects and were immediately thrown into disarray. The originally orderly attack became a mess. Some of the werewolves howled in pain and scratched their bodies frantically with their claws, trying to drive away the annoying poisonous insects, temporarily stopping their attack on Lin Yu.
"Lin Yu, I will use the poisonous insects to restrain them, and you find a chance to break out!" Su Na shouted loudly, her voice sounding particularly firm in the noisy environment.
Lin Yu nodded slightly, his eyes firm and sharp, like a hawk searching for a breakthrough among the werewolves. He zeroed in on a weak point in the werewolf encirclement, where the werewolves had been briefly thrown into disarray by the poisonous insects. He took a deep breath and rushed in that direction with all his might. The sword wielded fiercely in his hand, each strike carrying immense force. Any werewolf that approached him was repelled by his fierce sword strikes. However, just as Lin Yu was about to break through the encirclement, the werewolf leader pounced on him again. It leaped high, opened its bloody mouth, revealing its terrifying fangs, and bit towards Lin Yu's neck, as if to bite his throat off in one bite.
