Fierce battle with the man in black, the power of mysterious runes
Lin Yu was like a towering mountain, protecting Su Na tightly behind him. He glared at the black-clothed man in the lead, his eyes burning with anger and unyielding flames. He shouted, "We got the gem after going through untold hardships. Every step was covered with sweat and blood. Don't you think of taking it away easily!" His voice was firm and loud, as if to break through the heavy fog of the gloomy forest, echoing all around, trying to intimidate the group of uninvited guests in front of him with this majestic momentum.
The leading man in black raised his lips slightly, revealing a cold smile that was as chilling as a winter wind. "Then don't blame us for being rude. Attack!" With his command, the man in black pounced at them with astonishing speed, like a ghost lurking in the darkness. The weapons in his hands flashed a chilling light in the dim light, and he aimed directly at Lin Yu and Suna, as if he was going to devour them instantly.
Lin Yu swung his sword without hesitation, its blade slicing through the air in sharp arcs, whirring. Each strike carried his fearless courage and unwavering determination. As it collided with the weapons of the men in black, dazzling sparks flew, like fleeting fireworks in the night sky. While Lin Yu struggled to fend off the onslaught of attacks, he keenly observed the men's movements. He knew these men in black were no ordinary bandits; they were well-trained and coordinated, each attack carrying a hidden threat. A single misstep would plunge him and Suna into an irretrievable predicament.
Suna refused to back down, and at this critical moment, she quickly summoned her poisonous insects. Like soldiers receiving the order to charge, the insects swarmed from her sleeves and hair, forming a colorful cloud that swiftly flew towards the men in black. The insects seized the opportunity and bit the men's exposed skin, eyes, and other sensitive areas. The men in black cried out in pain from the insects, and the previously orderly attack was thrown into disarray. Some people couldn't help but use their hands to drive the insects away, and the scene fell into chaos. However, these men in black were clearly well-trained, and they quickly adjusted themselves. While struggling to drive away the insects with their hands, they continued to steadily advance towards Lin Yu and Suna, their eyes revealing an increasingly murderous intent.
"Lin Yu, these people are tough to deal with. We have to find a way to break out!" Suna shouted anxiously, her voice trembling slightly, but her eyes remained firm. She knew the situation was critical and she had to remain calm and focus on commanding the Gu worm, trying to relieve Lin Yu's pressure and give them both a chance of survival.
Lin Yu nodded slightly, gritting his teeth as he engaged the men in black, his mind racing with countermeasures. During this tense battle, his keen observation revealed that while the men in black were coordinating well, they would shift their feet ever so slightly before launching each attack. This subtle movement became their only vulnerability. He then watched for the moment a man in black was about to strike, and just as the man's footsteps shifted, Lin Yu suddenly dodged sideways, agile as a leopard, deftly avoiding the fierce blow. At the same time, his sword lashed out like lightning, piercing the man's arm with pinpoint accuracy. The man in black couldn't dodge in time, and with a swooping sound, the sharp sword sliced through his sleeve, leaving a deep wound on his arm. Blood gushed out, and the weapon in his hand dropped to the ground with a resounding clang.
"Good opportunity!" Lin Yu shouted, like a charge on the battlefield. Before the other men in black could react, he gathered all his strength and rushed towards one direction of the encirclement. Seeing this, Su Na understood what she meant and immediately ordered the insects to focus on attacking the men in black in that direction. The insects rushed towards the target like a colorful torrent, clearing the way for Lin Yu.
However, just as they were about to break through the encirclement, the situation suddenly changed. Seeing their plan about to fail, the leading man in black flashed a fierce look on his face. He quickly pulled a small black bottle from his waist. The bottle was simple in shape, exuding a mysterious and sinister aura. He suddenly opened the bottle cap, and a black smoke surged out, like a black demon breaking free from its constraints. It quickly spread and in the blink of an eye, shrouded the surrounding area in a pitch-black darkness. The man in black loomed in the smoke, like a ghost from hell, a terrifying sight.
"What's that smoke? Be careful!" Lin Yu warned Suna loudly, his voice echoing in the darkness, a hint of tension and vigilance. His eyes were as wide as bells as he searched for the enemy in the darkness, his sword tightly gripped, ready to respond to any attack from any direction.
Suddenly, several black arms emerged from the smoke, like black pythons, clawing at Lin Yu and Suna. These arms were slender and powerful, with sharp, hooked nails, and exuding a sickening, rancid stench. Lin Yu reacted quickly. He shouted and swung his sword. With a sharp "puff," an arm was severed by the sharp sword. Black blood splattered and splashed onto the ground, making a sizzling sound that seemed highly corrosive. But more arms reached out from all directions like a tide, like an invisible net, trying to trap them. Suna hurriedly commanded the Gu worms to attack these arms. The insects rushed forward without hesitation, biting the arms. However, these arms seemed invulnerable, and the Gu worms' attacks had no effect on them, as if they were not flesh and blood.
"These arms don't seem to be afraid of the poisonous insects!" Suna said anxiously, a hint of despair in her voice. In this dark and terrifying environment, she could feel the danger approaching step by step, and an unprecedented fear surged in her heart, but she knew that she could not give up at this moment.
