Fight against stone monsters and survive in dangerous situations
The stone monster took slow, ponderous steps, its massive form like a rolling hill as it charged towards Lin Yu and Suna with ferocious force. With each step, the ground shook violently as if struck by a powerful earthquake, accompanied by a dull boom, as if the entire basement were crumbling beneath the force. Small pieces of stone tumbled from the walls, bouncing and rolling on the ground with a crisp, chaotic sound, like the tolling of death. Lin Yu gripped his sword tightly, his knuckles white from the strain. His gaze, sharp as a torch, followed the stone monster's every move, revealing a firm and resolute look, yet also a hint of vigilance. He knew the stone monster before him exuded a terrifying and powerful aura. This battle would be extremely difficult; a single misstep could cost both him and Suna their lives, so he dared not slack off.
"Suna, don't worry about me, find an exit as soon as possible!" Lin Yu shouted as loudly as he could. His voice echoed in this closed basement with unquestionable firmness, as loud as a bell, trying to cover up the heavy footsteps of the stone monster and the noisy sounds around.
Suna bit her lip, her lower lip turning white from the effort. A flicker of worry and reluctance crossed her eyes, but she knew the situation was critical and there was no time for hesitation. She nodded quickly, her eyes also revealing determination, and turned around, frantically searching for clues to the exit. While watching the fierce battle between the stone monster and Lin Yu, she carefully examined every inch of the basement wall and corner, her eyes as sharp as a hawk's, not missing a single detail that might hide a mechanism or clue, silently praying that she could quickly find a way to open the door or escape.
The stone monster, like an enraged beast, rushed toward Lin Yu in the blink of an eye. It swung its boulder-like arm, whirring and slamming down on him. The arm fell with such speed that it seemed to rip the very air apart. Lin Yu's eyes flashed, and he dodged sideways like a nimble cheetah. The stone monster's arm slammed into the ground, creating a massive crater. Dust rose like a mushroom cloud, filling the air and obscuring vision. Lin Yu seized the moment between the stone monster's attacks and struck back. He channeled all his strength into his sword, which, with a sharp whistling sound and like a flash of silver lightning, pierced the stone monster. However, the stone monster's skin was incredibly tough, like steel, and the sword left only a shallow mark, followed by a crisp clang, as if striking solid rock.
"This stone monster's defense is too strong!" Lin Yu was secretly surprised, his brows furrowed tightly into a frown. But his unyielding character prevented him from retreating. Instead, his eyes ignited with an even stronger fighting spirit. He raised his sword high again, his eyes eagerly searching for the stone monster's flaws. His mind raced, thinking about the next round of attack strategy, ready to launch an even more fierce attack at any time.
The stone monster, seemingly enraged by Lin Yu's stubborn counterattack, let out a deafening roar. This roar, seemingly piercing the soul, echoed in the basement for a long time, making Lin Yu's ears ring and his head feel dizzy. Then, the stone monster opened its mouth, wide enough to devour everything, and a stream of blazing flames erupted from its mouth like a volcanic eruption, forming a surging column of fire that swept towards Lin Yu with overwhelming force. Wherever the flames touched, the air seemed to ignite, emitting a sizzling sound, and the ground was instantly scorched, emitting a pungent burnt smell.
Seeing this, Lin Yu secretly feared something was wrong and leaped backward with all his might. His movements were swift and agile, but the flames were even faster. The flames brushed against the edge of his clothes, the scorching heat stinging his skin. As he dodged the flames, Lin Yu's mind raced, formulating a response. His keen observation revealed subtle changes in the stone monster's movements before each attack; these could be its fatal flaws. Just as the stone monster prepared to strike again, crouching slightly and tensing its arm muscles, Lin Yu seized the opportunity and leaped forward like an arrow, concentrating all his strength and stabbing the stone monster's leg. This time, his sword luckily pierced the gap in the stone monster's leg, and the monster roared in agony, a sound filled with rage and pain. Black fluid oozes from the wound in the stone monster's leg, emitting a sickening stench.
"Lin Yu, be careful!" Suna suddenly shouted, her voice full of fear.
Lin Yu instinctively turned his head to see the stone monster, enduring the excruciating pain in his leg, sweeping his other arm towards him. This sudden attack was incredibly fast, and Lin Yu couldn't dodge it, being struck hard by the stone monster's arm. He flew out like a cannonball, slamming heavily into the wall. After a dull thud, Lin Yu felt his internal organs shift, and a mouthful of blood spurted out uncontrollably, splashing a gorgeous yet tragic bloodstain on the wall.
"Lin Yu!" Su Na cried out in a frantic frenzy, tears welling in her eyes. Her heart was pounding, and she unconsciously took a step toward Lin Yu, but then stopped. She knew she couldn't panic; she had to find an exit quickly, or they would both be trapped. For a moment, she felt a mixture of worry, anxiety, and helplessness, but she managed to calm herself and continued searching for an exit.
Lin Yu struggled to stand up, his legs trembling slightly. He wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth with his hand, his eyes still firm, as if the attack was just a trivial episode. "I'm fine, you keep looking for a way out!" He shouted loudly, enduring the severe pain in his body. Although his voice was a little weak, it was still firm and powerful.
