Searching for weapons on the ice peak, fighting against the ice dragon
With unwavering determination, Lin Yu, Suna, and Leng Xuan resolutely embarked on a perilous journey to find the first ancient artifact. Their destination was the perpetually snow-capped icy peak at the source of the Yellow River. Along the way, the biting wind, like countless sharp blades, relentlessly scraped across their faces, whirring and roaring in anger, attempting to halt their progress. Every gust of wind carried a biting chill that seemed to penetrate their very bones, freezing their bodies and minds.
As they gradually approached the ice peak, the temperature dropped sharply, and the whole world seemed to be thrown into a huge ice cellar in an instant. Suna couldn't help but shiver, and the shiver spread from the soles of her feet to the top of her head. She subconsciously tightened her clothes, but this did not seem to stop the invasion of the cold. Her teeth chattered involuntarily, and she said: "This... This is too cold. I feel like my blood is freezing. Every time I breathe, my throat hurts as if it is scratched by ice." Lin Yu looked at her distressedly, his eyes full of concern. He stretched out his frozen red hand, gently patted Suna's shoulder, trying to give her some warmth and strength, and said: "Hold on a little longer, Suna. We are getting closer and closer to the artifact. As long as we find the artifact, all the efforts will be worth it. We can do it."
Finally, after much difficulty, they reached the foot of the icy peak. Looking up, the peak towered into the clouds, like a giant icicle piercing the heavens. In the sunlight, the peak reflected a glaring light, almost impossible to look at. A thick layer of ice and snow covered the peak, like a gorgeous yet dangerous piece of ice armor. Its surface was incredibly smooth, gleaming in the sunlight with an alluring yet deadly luster. Climbing it was a formidable challenge, with every step posing a risk of slipping and falling.
Leng Xuan carefully observed the topography of the ice peak, frowning. He said seriously, "This ice peak is too steep, almost vertical. If we're not careful while climbing, we'll slip, and falling is no joke. We must proceed with caution and carefully search for the right climbing path. Any small mistake could lead to our entire effort being wasted." Lin Yu nodded solemnly in agreement, knowing full well that Leng Xuan was right. The three of them began to cautiously explore along the base of the ice peak, their gaze wandering over every corner, trying to find a glimmer of hope for the climb.
After a lot of hard searching, they finally found a relatively gentle ice slope. Although it was called gentle, in fact the slope was still very steep. But compared with other almost vertical places, this place was a bit of mercy from God. Lin Yu took a deep breath and stepped onto the ice slope first. His heartbeat accelerated involuntarily, and every sense was highly tense. He carefully looked for a foothold, and his feet tested the ice surface. Every step he took was like dancing on thin ice, full of caution and difficulty. The ice surface was as smooth as a mirror, and there was almost no place to gain leverage. He could only rely on the mountaineering tools in his hands, digging into the ice bit by bit, and climbing up with difficulty. Su Na and Leng Xuan followed closely behind, their expressions were equally solemn, and their eyes revealed firmness and determination. They followed Lin Yu's pace step by step.
However, the climb proved far more arduous than they had imagined. The ice was not only slippery but also bone-chillingly cold, requiring immense effort to take each step. Lin Yu's hands, frozen red from prolonged contact with the ice and snow, had lost their former flexibility and were practically numb. His fingers had become stiff, and every grasp required immense effort, as if they no longer belonged to him. But he gritted his teeth, his lips turning pale from the exertion, his heart filled with a single conviction: he must reach the summit and find the artifact.
Just as they were struggling to climb to the side of the icy peak, a sudden gust of wind, like the roar of a demon, whistled past. The wind whipped up a cloud of ice and snow, which flew wildly in the wind like enchanted weapons. Amidst the raging wind, a deep and shocking dragon roar could be heard. It seemed to come from another time and space, carrying with it an endless majesty and mystery that instilled both awe and a deep fear. Lin Yu was startled, his face turning pale in an instant. He shouted, "Oh no! The ice dragon is coming! Everyone be careful!"
As soon as the words left his mouth, a massive ice dragon swooped down from the clouds like lightning. Its immense body, like a moving iceberg, emanated a bone-chilling aura, as if it were the embodiment of cold. The scales on the ice dragon's body were like razor-sharp ice blades, gleaming with a chilling gleam in the sunlight, each scale seeming to speak of its might and inviolability. Its eyes were like two blazing blue flames, radiating an immense majesty and coldness, as if it could see through their inner fears.
The ice dragon opened its maw, and a stream of icy breath shot out like a surging blue torrent, blasting towards Lin Yu and the other two. Wherever the icy breath passed, the air instantly froze into ice, making a crackling sound. Lin Yu felt a piercing chill wash over him, his heart suddenly tightening, and he shouted, "Get out of the way!" The three of them quickly dispersed, leaping in different directions. Lin Yu leaped hard to the left, his body arcing through the air. The icy breath brushed past him, instantly freezing a boulder next to him into a block of ice. Under the influence of the icy breath, the boulder instantly became crystal clear, like a beautiful ice sculpture, but revealing a deadly chill.
Without hesitation, Leng Xuan brandished the Shadow Moon Blade and charged at the Ice Dragon. The Shadow Moon Blade shone with a strange light in his hand, as if counteracting the ice dragon's chilling aura. The Ice Dragon, sensing Leng Xuan's attack, flapped its massive wings, which spread out like two vast ice sails, stirring up a fierce storm. The storm rushed towards Leng Xuan with overwhelming force, and Leng Xuan felt a powerful force pulling at his body, causing him to lose his balance and nearly slip off the icy peak. He gritted his teeth, pressed his feet firmly against the ice, and held the Shadow Moon Blade tightly in his hand, trying to steady himself in the fierce wind.
