Chapter 305: Dangers Surrounding, Breaking the Situation

Dangers abound, desperate situation breaks out

In the desperate situation where venom, flames and strong winds were intertwined, Lin Yu felt as if he was in a hellish furnace that was about to erupt. The scorching flames were like the devil's tongue, licking every inch of his skin, burning it so hard that it felt as if it would be ignited at any time; the pungent smell of venom penetrated his nostrils, filled his respiratory tract, and almost suffocated him; the strong winds were like a pair of invisible and brutal hands, pulling his body wantonly, trying to drag him and Leng Xuan into the endless dark abyss.

Lin Yu was struggling to dodge in the chaos, and every move he made had to fight wits and courage with the triple threat. He shouted loudly, and his voice was heard amid the howling wind and venom: "Leng Xuan, we can't fight alone! If we go on like this, we will be defeated one by one sooner or later! Find an opportunity to attack its same weakness together, and only by concentrating our strength can we have a chance of winning!" Leng Xuan struggled to stand firm in the wind. The wind cut across his cheeks like a knife, and his hair was blown wildly, almost blocking his vision, but he still tried to push his hair aside and responded: "Understood! Wait for the right time and go together!" At this time, Leng Xuan's face was covered with a mixture of sweat and dust, and he looked embarrassed, but his eyes were still as firm as iron, revealing an indomitable fighting spirit.

Su Na was extremely anxious, as if her heart was being tightly grasped by an invisible hand. She knew that at this critical moment, she had to do something to help her companions, otherwise they would all be doomed. She bit her lips tightly, almost to the point of bleeding, and concentrated all her energy, trying to make the poisonous insects play a greater role. Although the poisonous insects suffered heavy casualties under the double attack of fire and strong wind, and their numbers were few, she still tried her best to command the remaining poisonous insects, rushing desperately towards the Hydra's eyes. The Hydra's eyes are its important organs for sensing the outside world, and she hoped to use this to distract the Hydra's attention and create an opportunity for Lin Yu and Leng Xuan.

Like a puff of black smoke, the Gu worms, controlled by Suna, swarmed toward the Hydra's eye. Sensing danger, one of its heads quickly abandoned its attack on Lin Yu and Leng Xuan and instead aimed at the Gu worms, unleashing a powerful gust of wind. Like a roaring beast, the wind, with overwhelming force, attempted to completely dispel the Gu worms. However, Suna gritted her teeth, veins bulging on her forehead as beads of sweat streamed down her face. She desperately controlled the Gu worms, directing them with her mind to advance in a scattered, circuitous pattern. As if sensing their master's unwavering resolve, the Gu worms struggled against the strong wind, their wings shaky and creaking, yet they stubbornly pressed forward towards their target. Finally, some of them managed to break through the wind's resistance and stung the Hydra's eye. The Hydra let out a furious roar that echoed through the canyon, sending rocks tumbling down the surrounding ground. Its body thrashed violently, its previously orderly attack rhythm momentarily disrupted.

Lin Yu and Leng Xuan seized this fleeting opportunity with keen agility. Almost simultaneously, they exchanged glances, their intentions understood each other. Like two bolts of black lightning, they charged with lightning speed towards the Hydra's shared neck. Lin Yu's sword gleamed with a cold light, as if carrying all his convictions and strength; Leng Xuan's Shadow Moon Blade also shone brightly, its light seemingly capable of piercing through the perils. The two men exerted their combined strength, and with a whistling sound of breaking wind, the sword and Shadow Moon Blade pierced the Hydra's neck fiercely. The Hydra let out a shrill scream, its voice filled with pain and rage. Another head drooped helplessly, and black blood gushed out like a fountain, splashing onto the ground with a sizzling sound, instantly corroding a charred mark.

But the Hydra refused to yield. Instead, it was enraged even further. Its remaining heads, like maddened beasts, launched an even more ferocious attack. One head unleashed venom like a high-pressure water cannon, shooting straight at Lin Yu and Leng Xuan. The venom shimmered eerily in the dim light, like a curse from hell. The two quickly separated to avoid it. The venom brushed past the edge of Lin Yu's clothes and instantly corroded a nearby boulder, riddled with holes. The surface quickly melted, emitting acrid smoke. Another head opened its maw and belched a thick stream of flame. The flames quickly spread, like a blazing wall of fire, blocking Leng Xuan's escape route. The flames carried a suffocating heat, making Leng Xuan feel as if he were inside a massive oven.

Meanwhile, Lin Yu, dodging nervously, observed with keen observation that despite the Hydra's fierce attacks, each one was preceded by a brief, charging movement. His mind raced, realizing this might be the key to their escape. He shouted to Leng Xuan, "Pay attention to its movements before an attack! Dodge in advance! We can use this moment to strike back!" Then, Lin Yu, observing the moment a head was gathering strength, a flicker of determination in his eyes, charged towards it. Just before the head unleashed its venom, he rolled sideways with incredible agility, the agility of a cheetah. Then, he thrust his sword into the side of the head. The Hydra, in pain, misdirected its venom, splashing onto the ground nearby, corroding a massive crater.

Leng Xuan followed suit. Before the flames erupted, he quickly surveyed his surroundings, using the ridges of the canyon wall to scramble and avoid them like a monkey. The flames brushed against his feet, burning them. Then, seizing his moment, he descended from above. The Shadow Moon Blade flashed with a cold light, piercing the other neck of the Hydra. The Hydra's body trembled violently, roaring in anger. Its roars seemed to shake the entire canyon. Its struggles sent the Yellow River into waves several feet high, crashing against the canyon walls with a deafening roar.
