Chapter 308: Turning Point in Despair, Sealing Hope

The scorpion, having lost its stinger, became even more frantic, like an enraged beast. It rushed towards Lin Yu recklessly, its speed catching him off guard. Lin Yu, exhausted from his previous injuries and the prolonged battle, began to stumble. The scorpion's pincers were about to clamp down on Lin Yu. At this critical moment, Leng Xuan aimed at the scorpion's neck, raised his Shadow Moon Blade high, and plunged it with all his strength.

The scorpion's body suddenly stiffened, all movement halting instantly, as if time had frozen in that moment. Then, its massive form slowly collapsed, hitting the ground with a resounding, dull thud. The entire ruins trembled slightly at the resounding noise, as if sighing a final sigh of approval at the fall of this powerful creature.

The three looked at the fallen scorpion, and the tension and fear in their hearts finally receded like a tide. They were exhausted, their bodies covered with dust, sweat and blood, but their faces were filled with the joy of surviving the disaster.

"We did it." Suna's eyes welled with excitement, tears streaming down her dusty cheeks, leaving clear tear marks on her face. Her voice was choked with sobs. They had experienced so many hardships and obstacles along the way, and this moment of victory meant a lot to them.

Lin Yu wiped off the stains of sweat and blood on his forehead, a relieved smile appeared on his face, and he said: "Yes, we succeeded, but don't worry, we have to find the artifact quickly." Although his body was exhausted to the extreme, there was still determination in his eyes. He knew that only when they found the last artifact would their mission be truly accomplished.

So, the three of them searched carefully deep within the ruins. Finally, in a hidden corner, they discovered the final artifact, emitting a soft glow. This artifact was simple and mysterious in shape, its surface engraved with strange runes. The runes shimmered and seemed to tell an ancient story. As the three artifacts came together, as if a mysterious force was pulling them together, their light intertwined, forming a brilliant and mysterious curtain of light.

Lin Yu knew that if they returned with these three artifacts, they would be able to seal the Yellow River Giant Turtle and end the crisis that had plunged countless people into fear. At this moment, he felt both anticipation for the impending sealing and a tinge of worry: "I hope the sealing process goes smoothly and there are no more accidents. We've sacrificed so much along the way, and we absolutely cannot let this go at the last moment."

Suna looked at the glowing artifact in her hand and prayed silently in her heart: "May all be safe and sound, and may this long-suffering land return to its former tranquility. I hope our efforts will not be in vain, and that we can truly eliminate the threat posed by the Yellow River giant turtle."

Leng Xuan vigilantly monitored his surroundings, ensuring a safe return. He knew full well that in this perilous world, any negligence could lead to catastrophic consequences. His eyes were as sharp as a hawk's, always ready to respond to any possible danger.

They set out on their journey home, their bodies weary but their eyes brimming with hope. Along the way, sunlight filtered through the leaves, gleaming down upon them, as if cheering their victory. Yet, they all knew the true test lay ahead. Could they successfully seal the Yellow River giant turtle and bring this thrilling adventure to a successful conclusion? All would soon be revealed, and they, bearing their mission and hope, moved forward with resolve.
