Fighting the giant turtle, finally sealed
As the torrent of water, like a raging dragon, surged forward with overwhelming force, Lin Yu felt as if his heart were instantly grasped by an invisible hand, stopping its beating. A bone-chilling chill shot from the soles of his feet to his forehead. He knew the Yellow River giant turtle must have sensed the mortal threat and unleashed this vicious, killing move. In this critical moment, he must have mustered every last ounce of strength and lunged to the side. The water, like an impenetrable wall, whizzed past him, its immense impact plowing a deep furrow in the ground. The mud and water splattered in all directions like a barrage of artillery shells, filling the air with a cloud of mud and water.
Leng Xuan's reaction was equally swift. He quickly used a massive rock nearby for cover. The water slammed into the boulder like a ferocious beast, erupting with a deafening roar that threatened to shatter the entire world. The boulder swayed slightly under the powerful impact, its once impenetrable surface instantly covered with spiderweb-like cracks, as if proving the terrifying force.
"Don't give up! Keep charging!" Lin Yu yelled at the top of his lungs, his voice filled with an unwavering, unyielding will, as if to pass this conviction on to everyone. He completely ignored the mud and water splattering all over his body, which flowed down his cheeks and arms, making him look disfigured. But the light in his eyes grew even more resolute. He quickly stood up, pushed off the ground, and rushed towards the giant turtle's neck again like an arrow from a bow. Leng Xuan also flashed out from behind the boulder like a black lightning, running side by side with Lin Yu towards their goal. Their figures seemed so small in the dim sky and earth, yet so determined.
Suna was now completely absorbed in directing the Gu insects. Beads of sweat streamed down her forehead like beads from a broken string, soaking her cheeks and clothes. She knew that in this desperate moment, every Gu insect was a precious aid, a ray of hope for defeating the giant turtle. Her eyes fixed on the turtle, her hands dancing rapidly in the air, muttering to herself, constantly adjusting the Gu insects' attack directions. The Gu insects seemed to sense their master's unwavering determination. Under her control, like a group of fearless warriors, they relentlessly charged towards the turtle's eyes, nostrils, and other sensitive areas. The giant turtle, distraught by the Gu insects, shook its head wildly, emitting furious roars that resonated like thunder in its ears, piercing its eardrums. However, no matter how hard it tried, it could not completely escape the Gu insects' relentless hold, and could only continue its struggle in anger and helplessness.
Taking advantage of the giant turtle's distraction from the poisonous insect, Lin Yu and Leng Xuan finally and painstakingly approached its neck. Lin Yu raised his sword high, channeling all his strength into his arms. His muscles tensed, veins bulged, as if imbued with boundless power. With all his might, he shouted, "Watch out!" The sword, piercing the wind, slashed fiercely at the turtle's neck, brimming with rage and determination. At the same time, Leng Xuan swung his Shadow Moon Blade, striking the turtle from the opposite side with lightning speed. The sword and Shadow Moon Blade penetrated the turtle's neck almost simultaneously. As if sensing a mortal threat, the giant turtle let out a roar of agony, a sound like an earthquake, resounding through the heavens and earth, as if threatening to bring the world crumbling. Its massive body trembled violently, raising the already turbulent Yellow River into waves tens of feet high. Like towering mountains, the waves surged in all directions, seemingly consuming everything.
Black blood gushed out of the wound in the turtle's neck like a raging fountain, tracing eerie arcs through the air before pouring down heavily, staining the surrounding ground and river water a strange black. The turtle was in a frantic struggle, its limbs flailing recklessly on the ground, its thick tail whipping vigorously. Wherever it went, the surrounding trees were severed like fragile straw, branches and leaves flying everywhere, creating a devastating mess. Lin Yu and Leng Xuan clung to the turtle's tough scales, which were like sharp blades, slicing their palms painfully and drawing blood. But they gritted their teeth, enduring the excruciating pain, refusing to let go, lest they be thrown by the turtle's mad swings.
"Hold on, we will succeed!" Lin Yu shouted at the top of his lungs. His voice became hoarse due to extreme fatigue, but it was still full of unswerving faith and determination, as if declaring to the world their will to never give up.
However, the giant Yellow River turtle clearly had no intention of surrendering. Just when everyone thought victory was within reach, it suddenly, like a frantic beast, plunged into the Yellow River, attempting to drown Lin Yu and Leng Xuan with the mighty current in a final, desperate struggle. The icy water instantly engulfed the two men, the water like countless cold hands, pounding their bodies, mercilessly trying to tear them off the giant turtle. Lin Yu struggled to open his eyes in the water. The surroundings were murky, and he could only vaguely see Leng Xuan struggling to hold on not far away. He knew in his heart that if he let go at this moment, all their previous efforts would be in vain. Furthermore, they would be in danger of their lives, buried beneath the Yellow River.
Su Na was extremely anxious on the shore, her eyes wide open, filled with anxiety and worry. She desperately directed the insects to anxiously search for the giant turtle's location on the water surface. She knew that Lin Yu and Leng Xuan were fighting a desperate battle with the giant turtle underwater, and the air would be their biggest enemy. She looked around anxiously, her eyes revealing a hint of panic, her brain working rapidly, hoping to find a way to help them as soon as possible. She prayed silently in her heart: "You must be okay, you must hold on!"
