Finding opportunities in adversity, breaking through the impasse with cold iron
Flames erupted from the dragon's mouth like surging magma, a strange blue-green hue, with wisps of black dancing around its edges. It resembled the infernal fire of hell, carrying a terrifying aura of annihilation. Wherever the flames passed, the air instantly ignited, emitting a crackling sound. The scorching heat distorted the surrounding light, making the viewer feel as if they were trapped in a twisted purgatory.
Lin Yu felt a scorching heat wave rushing towards him, as if it was going to swallow him whole. Startled, he shouted, "Get some cover!" He quickly glanced around and fixed his eyes on a protruding boulder next to him. The surface of the boulder was rough and covered with traces of years of erosion, but at this moment it seemed to be his only lifeline. He kicked the ground with both feet and flew over. His body rubbed against the ground, causing a burning pain. The flames brushed past his back, and the scorching temperature made the clothes on his back smoke instantly, and a pungent smell of burning filled the air. He secretly rejoiced in his heart: "What a close call, if I was a step slower, I would have been burned to ashes."
Su Na was terrified by the sudden burst of flames, her face pale and her heart pounding. She ran towards a narrow and deep crevice nearby, like a wound in the mountain. His voice was a little hoarse due to tension and fatigue. After the two responded that they were fine, Lin Yu continued, "Passive avoidance like this is not a solution. We have to take the initiative and find a way to get the Cold Iron Sword. Maybe that is the key to defeating it. This dragon is so powerful that ordinary attacks are completely ineffective against it. The Cold Iron Sword may contain the power to restrain it."
Suna looked at the surging river, swirling under the dragon's influence. The waves crashed against the banks, creating a deafening roar. The dragon, enraged, turned its massive head toward Lin Yu. Its eyes, like a pair of flaming blood-red lanterns, radiated a chilling, murderous gleam. It opened its maw, revealing two rows of fangs as sharp as daggers. Each fang dripped with green venom, which dripped onto the ground, instantly corroding tiny, smoking pits. Its whiskers danced frantically, like two nimble whips, hissing. The dragon's body was covered in a thick layer of cyan scales, each the size of a shield. Their surface was as smooth as a mirror, yet incredibly hard, gleaming with a cold metallic sheen in the sunlight, like an indestructible coat of armor.
Lin Yu nimbly moved in front of the dragon like a nimble cheetah, repeatedly swinging his sword at its legs. The sword struck the dragon's scales, sending up dazzling sparks and a crisp clang, but it only left a few shallow marks. The dragon, in pain, roared angrily, a roar like thunder, shaking the surrounding mountains and sending countless rocks tumbling down. It lashed its tail angrily, like a thick black python, sweeping towards Lin Yu with immense force. Lin Yu quickly dodged to the side, but the tail brushed past him, stirring up a strong gust of wind that sent his hair flying.
