Fierce battle in the snowy mountains, a glimmer of hope
Lin Yu watched helplessly as the mountain-like beast charged toward him with the force of thunder. An invisible hand gripped his heart, and a chill shot through his bones, spreading from his feet to his entire body. But his experience, full of battles and adventures, allowed him to calm down quickly in this critical moment. His mind, like a precision instrument, raced as he calculated a response. "Everyone, listen up! Stay calm! This beast is incredibly fast, but its size means it's definitely not very agile. Let's spread out and wear it down bit by bit!" Lin Yu shouted at the top of his lungs. His resolute voice pierced the howling snowstorm, reaching every member of the team clearly, like a stabilizing force in the darkness, injecting a shot of strength into their hearts.
The well-trained team members immediately dispersed in different directions like the agility of a snow leopard. The beast pounced with nothing, its blood-red eyes widening in a flash. In a rage so intense, it unleashed a roar that shattered the air around it. The roar, filled with boundless resentment, echoed for a long time in the empty snowy valley, chilling the very air. Its massive body twisted violently like a moving mountain, turning and charging frantically towards Li Qiang, the nearest team member.
Li Qiang gripped his weapon tightly, his knuckles white from the strain. A flicker of nervousness inevitably crossed his eyes, but more so, a resolute determination to face death. As the beast closed in like a hurricane, Li Qiang seized the opportunity, swerving sideways like lightning. At the same time, his specially crafted spear, like a dragon emerging from the sea, fiercely penetrated the beast's leg. However, the beast's fur was incredibly tough, like an indestructible layer of steel armor. The spear barely scratched its leg before being mercilessly deflected.
"This skin is too thick! It's like iron!" Li Qiang secretly complained in his heart, but the unyielding spirit in his bones was instantly stimulated. Without the slightest intention of retreating, he quickly and flexibly retreated, his eyes fixed on the behemoth, looking for the perfect opportunity for the next attack. Lin Yu saw all this, and with a frantic heart, he shouted at the behemoth at the top of his voice: "Hey! Big guy, you big fool, look over here!" The team members desperately tried to dodge, but one was caught in the tail's blow. Like a kite with its string cut, he was sent flying uncontrollably, arcing through the air before crashing heavily onto the snow, sending a shower of snowflakes flying.
"Xiao Wang!" Lin Yu's heart suddenly tightened, as if he had been hit hard by a heavy hammer, and he shouted anxiously. He rushed towards Xiao Wang in a hurry and quickly checked his injuries. Fortunately, Xiao Wang was only a little dizzy from the shock and was not in immediate danger of life. But at this moment, the giant beast launched another fierce attack. It leaped high into the air, like a collapsing snow mountain, and pounced fiercely towards Lin Yu and Xiao Wang. Lin Yu had no time to think, and without thinking, he pushed Xiao Wang away with force, but he was unable to dodge, and the giant beast's sharp claws scratched three shocking deep bloody marks on his arm. Blood spurted out like a fountain, blooming into dazzling blood flowers on the spotless white snow.
"Captain!" Witnessing this scene, the team members were terrified, their eyes practically blazing with anxiety. They desperately intensified their attacks on the beast. Some raised their guns and fired wildly at the beast's leg joints, attempting to restrain its movement. Others, seizing an opportunity, risked attacking the beast's belly, hoping to find a weak spot in its defenses and deliver a fatal blow. However, the beast, as if possessed of a spirit, seemed to fully understand the team's intentions. While nimbly dodging their attacks, it fiercely counterattacked with its razor-sharp fangs and powerful limbs. For a moment, the two sides were in a stalemate, and the situation was extremely tense.
Lin Yu endured the excruciating pain in his arm, beads of sweat rolling down his forehead, his mind racing with thoughts of a way out. He gritted his teeth, his gaze fixed on the beast's every move, searching for its weakness in the fierce battle. Finally, he discovered that whenever the beast prepared to launch a powerful attack, it would subconsciously lower its head slightly, exposing a relatively soft area under its neck. "Everyone, listen up! Concentrate your firepower on the lower part of its neck. That could be its fatal weakness!" Lin Yu shouted at the top of his lungs, ignoring the pain. A gleam of determination flashed in his eyes, and he charged at the beast once again without hesitation.
