Fighting the Ice Beast, Seeking Opportunity in Despair
The cold air spewed from the ice beast was like a surging wave, sweeping over with overwhelming force. Wherever it passed, snowflakes flew like frightened birds, and the air seemed to freeze into solid ice in an instant, emitting a crisp "crackling" sound. Lin Yu felt a piercing chill as if it were a physical substance, like countless sharp ice needles piercing his bones, almost freezing his blood. It howled to the heavens, releasing a deafening roar that reverberated through the icy forest, shaking the surrounding trees as if the entire world was trembling. Then, it frantically dug its claws into the ground, sending up large clouds of snow, and pounced on the nearest team member like a flash of white lightning.
This team member was none other than Xiao Li, who had injured his arm earlier. He had just struggled to his feet, and before he could react, the ice beast loomed like a ghost. Xiao Li felt a strong aura of death wash over him, and his heart seemed to stop beating. Despair surged through him like a tide, and he lamented, believing he was doomed.

Lin Yu flew uncontrollably through the air, arcing like a kite with its string cut, before crashing heavily onto the snow, sending up a shower of snowflakes. At that moment, he felt his internal organs shift, and a mouthful of blood gushed out of his mouth.
"Captain!" Seeing this, the team members were terrified, their eyes practically blazing with anger. Xiao Zhang's eyes were wide open, red as he roared, "How dare this beast hurt the Captain!" With that, a flicker of determination flashed in his eyes. Without hesitation, he raised his spear and charged at the ice beast like an enraged bull. The other team members followed suit, roaring, and quickly surrounded the ice beast, each one's eyes filled with anger and unyielding determination.

Suddenly, the ice beast kicked with its front legs, and its entire body leaped high like a cannonball, drawing a graceful yet deadly arc through the air as it pounced fiercely at Xiao Zhang. Xiao Zhang was undaunted. He stood firm, like a rock rooted in the snow, his hands tightly gripping his spear, pouring all his strength into it, and thrusting it at the ice beast like an incomparably resilient javelin.
The ice beast displayed remarkable agility in mid-air, twisting its body and deftly dodging Xiao Zhang's attack. At the same time, its knife-sharp claws, accompanied by a whistling sound, fiercely clawed at Xiao Zhang's chest. Xiao Zhang's heart tightened, and he quickly dodged to the side, but he was still a step too slow. The ice beast's claws, like a sharp blade, slashed through his clothes, leaving a deep bloody mark on his chest. Blood flowed out, staining his clothes red.

The ice beast seemed to sense the attack from behind. It reacted with remarkable speed, whirling around and biting Xiao Wang's arm. Xiao Wang felt a piercing pain in his arm, as if his bones were being shattered by the ice beast's bite. His face instantly turned pale as paper, but he gritted his teeth, enduring the pain without a single scream. His dagger remained fixed on the ice beast, his eyes revealing a resolute determination to face death.
Lin Yu also struggled to his feet. Seeing Xiao Wang in danger, he felt a surge of anxiety and anger, a fire burning within him. He gripped the blade tightly, ignoring the pain as he charged toward the ice beast, his mind fixed on a single, unwavering thought: "I must save Xiao Wang!" Lin Yu seized the opportunity, aimed at the ice beast's eyes, and stabbed at top speed. The ice beast, sensing the deadly threat from its eyes, was forced to let go of Xiao Wang and turn to avoid Lin Yu's attack.
