Defeat the fire beast and go deep into the temple
Under the relentless, stormy attack of the crowd, the flames of the fire monster, once raging with rage, were now visibly fading, like a candle about to go out. Its angry roars gradually grew feeble, as if it were making a final, dying struggle. Lin Yu stared intently at the monster, keenly sensing its weakness. A fierce determination to win surged within him. He seized the opportunity and shouted with all his might, "Concentrate on attacking its head! This is our chance to end the battle!" The voice echoed through the passage like thunder, filled with a desperate determination.
Upon hearing Lin Yu's command, the team members responded quickly without hesitation. With a determined glint in their eyes, they raised their weapons high and rained down upon the monster's head. Every time a weapon collided with the monster's body, sparks flew, as if announcing their determination to win. The monster seemed to sense the mortal danger. It struggled desperately to fight back, letting out a series of deep roars in its throat, attempting a final desperate struggle. However, its weakened body could no longer sustain a strong resistance. Its movements were slow and powerless, and it could only watch helplessly as the attacks surged towards it like a tide.
Finally, amidst a deafening roar that echoed through the passage, threatening to collapse the entire space, the massive body of the fire monster collapsed to the ground, showering a shower of incinerated ash. The ash drifted down like black snowflakes, as if its unwilling soul were dissipating. The passageway instantly fell silent. The roar of flames, the roar of the monster, and the clash of weapons, was replaced only by the rapid, exhausted breathing of the crowd, echoing heavily in the air.
Lin Yu slowly turned his head and scanned the team members one by one, feeling a mixture of relief and heartache. He was relieved that everyone had relied on their tenacious will and close cooperation to defeat such a powerful enemy; but he was also distressed that the team members were covered in scars, their clothes stained red with blood, and each wound told of the brutality of the battle.
"Is everyone okay?" Lin Yu asked anxiously with a concerned tone. His eyes were full of worry, as if the pain of each team member was like a sharp knife piercing his heart. The team members raised their heads one after another. Although everyone was exhausted and their faces were full of weariness, their eyes revealed the joy and pride of surviving the disaster. "Captain, thanks to the solution you came up with, otherwise we would be in danger this time." A team member said sincerely while wiping the sweat from his forehead. Lin Yu smiled slightly, his smile was tired but extremely warm, and said: "This is the joint credit of everyone. Without your cooperation, I can't do it alone. We are a team, and everyone is indispensable."
After a short rest, everyone gradually regained some strength in this brief period of peace, and their breathing gradually steadied. Lin Yu raised his head and cast his gaze once again towards the place within the stone gate that still emanated a mysterious light. The light seemed to have an invisible attraction, pulling at his curiosity and sense of mission. He took a deep breath and said, "Let's continue forward and see what is hidden behind the stone gate. I believe we are getting closer and closer to the truth." The team members silently stood up, their eyes rekindled with determination. Without hesitation, they followed Lin Yu, stepping into the stone gate with anticipation and vigilance for the unknown.
The space beyond the stone door was vast, like a forgotten, mysterious world. The surrounding walls were inlaid with a variety of exotic gems, each in a unique shape and radiating a dazzling array of colors, illuminating the entire space with a dreamlike quality. In the center stood a massive stone platform, like a mysterious altar, exuding a solemn and awe-inspiring atmosphere. Atop the platform sat an object emitting a soft glow, a gentle and mysterious light like the glimmer of dawn. It was the key to the temple they had so arduously sought.
However, just as they approached the stone platform with great anticipation, as if some hidden mechanism had been triggered, the surrounding ground suddenly began to shake violently, as if the entire world had gone mad. Cracks spread rapidly like spider webs, emitting a creepy "crackling" sound, as if the earth were groaning in pain.
"Oh no, another problem!" Lin Yu's face suddenly changed as he shouted. His voice was a little weak amidst the sudden tremors, yet it was filled with alarm. Then, from the cracks emerged a group of short, shimmering monsters emanating a black mist. These creatures were hideous and terrifying, their distorted faces the embodiment of nightmares. Their eyes flickered with an eerie red light, like two burning will-o'-the-wisp flames, revealing an endless eeriness and evil. A sharp, piercing roar emanated from their mouths, a sound like nails scratching glass, giving goosebumps all over the body, and then they pounced viciously upon the team members.
"Everyone, be careful! These monsters are tough!" Lin Yu quickly drew his weapon, which gleamed coldly under the multicolored light. He assumed a fighting stance, his eyes revealing determination and vigilance. The team members also took their positions, weapons firmly gripped, confronting the monsters. Lin Yu pondered inwardly that the sudden appearance of these monsters was no accident; they must be closely connected to a crucial part of the temple. Perhaps they were the last line of defense protecting this crucial part, blocking all who attempted to approach.
The monsters were the first to attack. They were extremely fast, like black lightning, and they rushed in front of the team members in an instant. Lin Yu only felt a black shadow flash in front of his eyes, and a monster had already pounced on him with its fangs and claws bared. He reacted quickly, swung his weapon, and slashed at the monster that was rushing towards him with the sound of the wind. But the monster was extremely flexible, and its body flashed like a ghost, easily dodging the attack. Then, it stretched out its sharp claws and grabbed Lin Yu's throat. The claws flashed with cold light, as if it could tear Lin Yu's throat in the next second. Lin Yu's heart tightened, and he dodged this fatal blow by suddenly turning sideways. At the same time, with the inertia of his body, he kicked the monster hard. With a "bang", the monster was kicked out, drew an arc in the air, and fell heavily to the ground.
