Fight off the monsters and the truth will become clear
Lin Yu stared intently at the monsters, thrown into disarray by the flickering light from a crucial part of the temple, a flame of hope suddenly ignited within him. He keenly sensed that this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity; he must seize it and strike a fatal blow. Otherwise, once the light faded, the situation would plunge into crisis again. "Everyone, listen up! Harness the power of this light and attack with all your might! Strive to repel these monsters!" Lin Yu shouted at the top of his lungs, his voice reverberating like thunder in the empty, eerie space. Every word was filled with inspiring power, like a shot of adrenaline to the exhausted team members.
Upon hearing this, the team members' morale, which had been slightly weakened by the long battle, instantly lifted. Their eyes rekindled with fighting spirit. Seizing moments of slow movement from the monsters, they swung their weapons with ferocity, each swing creating a whirring sound. Each attack was embodied in a resolute, desperate determination. The moment weapons collided with the monsters, a black mist erupted, carrying a pungent, fishy smell, accompanied by the monsters' painful roars, as if they were roaring in despair of defeat.
A team member zeroed in on a monster, a flicker of determination in his eyes. He thrust his legs hard, leaping high like a valiant eagle swooping down upon its prey. The longsword in his hand gleamed coldly in the multicolored light, and with immense force, he stabbed the monster's back. The monster, as if sensing danger, tried to evade, but the light slowed him down. The longsword pierced the monster's body, as if piercing through a layer of tough leather, with a muffled "puff" sound. The monster let out a sharp, air-rending scream that echoed through the air, leaving a chilling chill. Then, like a puff of smoke, its body collapsed to the ground, dissipating in a wisp of black smoke, leaving only a faint trace of its existence. "Well done! Keep going!" Lin Yu shouted, his voice filled with praise and encouragement. Meanwhile, he himself was not idle. The sharp blade in his hand, like a flash of black lightning, stabbed the approaching monster repeatedly, each thrust precise and powerful.
However, the sheer number of monsters was staggering, seemingly endless. Although the mysterious light significantly hindered their movements, they continued to surge forward like a mad tide, showing no sign of retreat. Lin Yu couldn't help but feel a surge of anxiety. If this continued, everyone's strength would eventually run out, and if they did, they would surely face catastrophic destruction. He engaged in a desperate struggle with the monsters, his blade slicing streaks of cold light through the swarm as he nervously pondered a countermeasure. Suddenly, he keenly noticed that the cracks from which the monsters emerged seemed to follow a pattern: they didn't appear randomly, but were concentrated in specific areas.
"Everyone, follow me! Let's block the cracks from which the monsters are pouring out!" Lin Yu decisively shouted the order, then, like a gust of black wind, he charged towards one of the cracks. Upon hearing the command, the team members reacted quickly, following Lin Yu's lead without hesitation. Like well-trained warriors, they engaged in fierce close combat with the monsters surrounding the crack. Wielding his blade, Lin Yu dashed left and right among the monsters, like a tiger among a flock of sheep, instantly carving a bloody path. Approaching the crack, he quickly glanced around, his eyes piercing, and soon spotted some huge rocks nearby. These rocks might be the key to blocking the crack.
"Come on, push these stones into the crack!" Lin Yu shouted loudly, his voice filled with unquestionable determination. The team members responded one after another. Regardless of their own fatigue and pain, they worked together to push the stones into the crack. Each stone was extremely heavy and required the combined efforts of several people to push it. The team members shouted slogans in unison, their clothes soaked with sweat, but no one complained of being tired. As the stones slowly fell into the crack, the number of monsters that had been pouring out like a spring decreased significantly, and the pressure around the crack was suddenly relieved a lot. However, monsters still continued to emerge from other cracks, rushing towards them with their fangs and claws bared, making terrifying roars.
Lin Yu gazed at the cracks from which monsters continued to pour forth, knowing full well that they must be sealed as soon as possible, or the situation could spiral out of control. "Everyone, disperse and find rocks to plug the cracks! Stay safe!" Lin Yu shouted, fending off the monsters' attacks. The team members immediately understood and quickly dispersed, searching for suitable rocks in this mysterious and dangerous space. At this moment, the light flickering from a key part of the temple intensified, like a sun about to erupt. The light seemed to possess some mysterious power, causing the monsters' movements to become even more chaotic and disorderly. They struggled frantically in the light, emitting bursts of shrill cries.
Lin Yu took the opportunity to speed up his pace, and together with his teammates, he tried his best to find rocks and push them into the crack. Suddenly, a cunning monster took advantage of the moment when Lin Yu was distracted, and pounced from behind like a ghost. Lin Yu keenly sensed the danger behind him, and his body instinctively turned quickly, using his arms to block the monster's sharp claws. The claws scratched his arm, causing a piercing pain, and blood instantly stained his sleeves red. But Lin Yu did not retreat at all. He gritted his teeth and stabbed the monster with the sharp blade in his hand as swiftly as a venomous snake. The monster felt the pain, let out a low roar, and loosened its claws. Lin Yu took advantage of the situation and kicked the monster hard, kicking it back and falling heavily to the ground.
After an incredibly difficult battle, most of the cracks were successfully blocked thanks to everyone's efforts. The number of monsters was greatly reduced, and the situation was finally under control to a certain extent. The team members were exhausted, their bodies covered in scars, sweat and blood intertwined, but their eyes remained as firm as steel, revealing an unyielding will. "Everyone, work harder and eliminate the remaining monsters!" Lin Yu shouted, his voice slightly hoarse with fatigue, but still full of strength.
