Lin Yu and his team stood before the ice gate. The icy air surging from within, like the breath of a demon from the polar abyss, raged relentlessly, forcing them back repeatedly. Every breath felt like countless tiny ice needles, pricking their throats and lungs. The ice bear stood firmly within the gate, like a cold iceberg. Its blood-red eyes glared fiercely at them, its breath thickening in the chill air like two eerie mists, adding to the eerie atmosphere. Lin Yu's heart was in turmoil. He knew that if he wanted to successfully obtain the key, he had to first defeat the ferocious ice bear. However, the ice bear's advantageous position within the gate, coupled with the unknown environment within that could potentially aid it, undoubtedly made the battle exponentially more difficult.
"Everyone, take some time to observe the situation inside the ice gate." Lin Yu suppressed his inner tension and anxiety, trying to sound calm and composed. His eyes, like a hawk, fixed on the ice bear and the dark, foggy area within the ice gate. The team members nodded in agreement. Though their bodies trembled slightly from the cold, their eyes remained resolute and vigilant. They carefully observed the ice bear's every move, trying to peer through the gauze-like mist to see what was happening inside. The ice gate was filled with thick fog, which, under the biting cold, seemed to solidify into a translucent barrier, completely obscuring everything within, filling the air with fear and curiosity.
Suddenly, the ice bear, like a flash of white lightning, attacked again. It rushed out of the ice gate with even greater speed than before, sending icy shards flying like sharp knives towards the team members. "Be careful!" Lin Yu shouted at the top of his lungs, quickly raising his weapon to block the attack. The ice bear's huge, sharp claws, with tremendous force, slammed down on the weapon. In an instant, a powerful impact traveled through Lin Yu's arm, sending it numb and making it almost impossible to hold the weapon. A faint trace of blood oozed from his knuckles. Seeing this, the team members surrounded the ice bear without hesitation, attacking it from the side and rear, trying to distract it and relieve Lin Yu's pressure.
One of the team members seized the opportunity, a look of determination flashing in his eyes. He gritted his teeth and thrust his dagger into the ice bear's leg with all his might. The ice bear, in pain, let out a deafening roar that threatened to collapse the entire ice cellar. It turned its head in anger, its bloodshot eyes filled with murderous intent, and lashed out at the team member with its claws like a whirlwind. The team member quickly dodged to the side, but the ice bear's attack was too fast, and he was still grazed by its claws. He fell to the ground like a kite with a broken string, groaning in pain. Lin Yu was terrified, his heart as if being gripped by an invisible hand. He roared at the ice bear, trying to attract its attention and draw the danger to himself. The ice bear, enraged, abandoned its attack on the fallen team member and turned to pounce on Lin Yu like a hungry tiger.
Lin Yu nimbly dodged the ice bear's attacks on the ice. Each dodge was thrilling, with the bear's claws barely scraping past his body. Meanwhile, his mind raced, pondering strategies for dealing with the ice bear. During the fierce battle, he keenly discovered that while the ice bear was incredibly powerful, like a giant steel beast, its turning speed was relatively slow. This might be their key to defeating the ice bear. "Everyone, listen up! When attacking an ice bear, pay attention to the gaps when it turns around and seize the opportunity to attack!" Lin Yu shouted, his voice echoing throughout the ice cellar with a firm conviction and inspiring power. Upon hearing the instructions, the team members immediately understood and quickly readjusted their tactics.
Another team member rushed forward without hesitation, his eyes fixed on the ice bear's movements with a firm, focused gaze. Just as the ice bear turned, he flashed like a black shadow, swiftly stabbing the ice bear's back with his sword. The ice bear roared in pain, wanting to turn and attack the team member immediately, but its speed was limited, so it could only watch helplessly as the team member's attack succeeded. The other team members seized this rare opportunity and launched their attacks, raining down their weapons on the ice bear. Several wounds gradually appeared on the ice bear's body, and bright red blood slowly flowed out, staining its once snow-white fur red and splashing onto the ice in dazzling spots.
However, the ice bear refused to yield, its tenacious fighting spirit fully unleashed. Suddenly, it unleashed a deafening roar, a roar that seemed to emanate from the depths of hell, sending the entire ice cellar trembling violently. Immediately afterwards, even more cold air surged from the ice door. As if possessed by life, it quickly condensed around the ice bear, forming a layer of crystal-clear ice armor that enveloped it. The ice armor gleamed in the dim light, making the ice bear appear even more formidable and terrifying, as if it were the master of a world of ice and snow. Lin Yu's heart sank, and an ominous premonition washed over him. He knew the situation had become even more dire.
"Everyone, be careful. This ice armor is tough to deal with!" Lin Yu warned loudly, his voice remarkably clear in the tense atmosphere. The ice bear, with its ice armor, charged towards the team members once again with great momentum. Its strength seemed to have increased even more, and with every step it took, the ice surface shook. Unconvinced, one team member tried to cut through the ice armor with his weapon. He gripped the weapon with both hands and slashed at it with all his might. However, the weapon's impact on the ice armor was like hitting solid steel, mercilessly bouncing back. The powerful recoil caused pain in the team member's arm, and he nearly dropped his weapon.
