Solve the puzzle and explore the maze
Lin Yu watched helplessly as rocks rained down like a mad rain, his heart leaping into his throat. He screamed at the top of his lungs, "Everyone, be careful!" Like a flash of black lightning, he quickly sought shelter. His mind was working like an overloaded machine, dodging the rocks while frantically trying to figure out the puzzle. A massive rock, packed with immense force, came crashing down on him, its whistling sound like the roar of death. His eyes widened, and he jerked sideways, barely avoiding the impact by almost brushing against the edge of the rock. The rock crashed to the ground with a deafening roar, sending up a cloud of dust that spread like a mushroom cloud.
"This mechanism was triggered too suddenly, everyone find a place to hide first!" Lin Yu shouted loudly, covering his mouth and nose with his hands, trying to block the diffuse dust. At the same time, his eyes were still fixed on the puzzle, as if he wanted to see through the complex pattern. He knew that time was running out, and every second was related to everyone's life and death. Only by solving the puzzle as soon as possible could he lead the team members out of this stone chamber that was about to collapse. The team members were like frightened birds, looking for cover everywhere. Some team members quickly hid behind the stone pillars like agile monkeys. The stone pillars trembled slightly under the impact of the stones, as if they would break at any time; some team members hid under the stone table in a panic. The stone table made a dull "bang bang" sound under the knock of the stones, as if it could not bear the weight.
"Captain, this puzzle has absolutely no clue!" a team member shouted anxiously, his voice piercing with fear, standing out against the chaotic surroundings. Lin Yu, nimbly dodging the constantly falling rocks, shouted back, "Don't panic! These symbols must have a pattern. Let's take a closer look!" Lin Yu himself was filled with worry and uncertainty, but he knew that as captain, he had to calm his team members and give them confidence. He suppressed the surging panic within him, took a deep breath, and once again focused his full attention on the puzzle.
His gaze, like a searchlight, darted back and forth between the symbols on the puzzle. Suddenly, his gaze settled on a few symbols whose shapes bore a subtle resemblance to the star chart symbols he had previously seen in the ancient book's information stream. A sudden thought struck him, and he thought, perhaps these symbols should be arranged according to the order of the star chart. This thought, like a ray of light in the darkness, lightened his already heavy heart.
"Everyone, listen up! Pay attention to the symbols that resemble star maps. Let's try to piece them together according to the order of the star map!" Lin Yu shouted at the top of his voice, his voice tinged with excitement and anticipation. Although the team members were skeptical, in this desperate situation, they chose to trust Lin Yu without hesitation. So, they carefully emerged from their shelters, their eyes anxiously searching for stones with the corresponding symbols.
At this moment, the chamber's vibrations intensified, as if the entire world had plunged into madness. More rocks fell like cannonballs, crashing to the ground with a deafening thud. One team member, unable to dodge, was grazed on the arm by a small rock, his sleeve instantly stained red with blood. "Ah!" the team member couldn't help but let out a scream of pain. Lin Yu, anxious, shouted, "Hurry up!" He quickly bent down and picked up a stone engraved with what looked like a star map symbol. His hands trembled slightly with nervousness, but his eyes remained resolute. Following the sequence of the star map he memorized, he slotted the stone into a gap in the puzzle.
The moment he inserted the stone, the puzzle seemed to come alive, emitting a faint glow. Though faint, it felt like a spark of hope in the chaotic, dark chamber. "That's right! Everyone, speed up!" Lin Yu shouted excitedly, his voice filled with inspiring power. The team members were emboldened, as if infused with a powerful new strength. Ignoring the stones constantly falling from their heads, they worked even faster to find and piece together the pieces.
However, the difficulty of the puzzle far exceeded their imagination. As the puzzle neared completion, the remaining stone symbols became increasingly complex and difficult to understand. Lin Yu searched through his memory, but could not find a star map symbol that fully corresponded to them. The stone chamber was shaking to the point of collapse. Huge stones kept falling, and the dust raised was almost suffocating. The entire stone chamber was shrouded in a doomsday atmosphere of despair.
"Captain, what should we do? We're running out of time!" a team member cried desperately, his voice tinged with tears. Lin Yu's brows knitted together, a frown so tight they could pinch a fly to death. Sweat dripped down his forehead like peas, soaking his clothes. He once again tried to recall the information from the ancient text, his mind racing, trying to find a clue among the vague fragments of memory. Suddenly, an idea struck him: these complex symbols might be a distortion of the star map.
He quickly directed his team to piece together the remaining stones, following the transformed star map. "This one, put it here! Quick!" Lin Yu shouted, personally adjusting the stones' positions. The team members frantically coordinated under his command. When the last stone fell into place, the puzzle shone with a dazzling light, as dazzling as the sun, illuminating the entire stone chamber. A portal slowly opened in the ground, revealing a staircase leading underground. A mysterious glow emanated from the stairs, as if beckoning them.
"Hurry up!" Lin Yu shouted, his voice filled with the excitement of surviving a disaster and a sense of vigilance against the unknown. The team members did not dare to hesitate and quickly ran towards the entrance. They walked down the stairs, and the temperature around them seemed to drop as if they had fallen into an ice cellar. A gloomy aura came over them like a ghost, making them shudder. There were some strange patterns carved on the walls of the stairs. Those patterns seemed to be alive, and they seemed to be moving slowly under the reflection of the dim light, telling an ancient and mysterious story. But at this moment, everyone was filled with fear of the unknown and the desire to escape danger, and had no time to care about these things.
