Bravely fight sand beasts and survive in the maze
Lin Yu stared intently at the terrifying sand beast before him, his heart pounding violently in his chest, threatening to burst through. The sand beast's massive body, two stories tall and resembling a rolling hill, was covered in incredibly tough scales. In the near-deathly dim light, it gleamed with a chilling, icy sheen, like a layer of natural, indestructible armor, daunting and filling everyone with despair. Its fierce, torch-like gaze was like two razor-sharp arrows, piercing the crowd with murderous intent. In its gaping maw, its sharp fangs resembled rows of interlaced blades, emitting a chilling aura in the gloom, as if it could instantly rip any prey to shreds.
"Everyone, listen up! This sand beast is enormous. We have no chance of winning in a head-on confrontation." Lin Yu tried his best to keep his voice down as he spoke hurriedly and nervously to the team members. His voice trembled slightly, but he tried to remain calm. "We need to distract it and find its weakness." The team members nodded vigorously. Although deep fear inevitably shone in their eyes, they were more filled with unwavering trust in Lin Yu and his firm determination not to retreat. At this moment, Lin Yu was their only hope in this endless darkness, their safe haven in the storm.
At that moment, the sand beast, like a maddened beast, launched its first attack. It took a sudden step forward, its massive paw slamming down hard on the ground. The ground instantly shook violently as if struck by an earthquake, and cracks spread like spiderwebs. Then, it swung its thick, tree-trunk-like forelimbs, stirring up a hurricane-like torrent of sand that swept toward the team members with overwhelming force. "Get out of the way!" Lin Yu shouted at the top of his lungs, his voice echoing through the gloomy maze with endless anxiety. The team members scattered like frightened birds, the powerful sandstorm whistling past their bodies like sharp blades, slicing through their skin and slicing painfully, as if slicing through their flesh inch by inch.
One team member, unable to dodge, was blown to the ground by the knife-like sandstorm, letting out a painful groan. The sand beast, keenly seizing this opportunity, immediately set its sights on him. A flash of bloodlust flashed in its eyes, and it opened its maw, snapping at the team member like a hungry tiger pouncing on its prey. Seeing this, Lin Yu was terrified, as if an invisible hand were clutching his heart. Without thinking, he quickly picked up a stone and threw it with all his might at the sand beast's eyes, shouting, "Attract its attention!" The stone flew out like a bullet, accurately hitting the sand beast's eye socket. The sand beast, in pain, let out a deafening roar that threatened to collapse the entire maze. It temporarily abandoned its attack on the fallen team member and instead turned its gaze, filled with anger and murderous intent, on Lin Yu.
"Everyone, don't panic. Keep distracting it!" Lin Yu yelled at the top of his lungs, his voice hoarse from anxiety and exertion. Upon hearing this, the team members followed suit. They hurriedly picked up the stones around them and threw them at the sand beast. The stones rained down on the sand beast's hard scales, making a "bang bang" sound, but this only seemed to irritate the sand beast even more. It roared madly in place, the sound like a curse from hell, terrifying. Its huge body turned rapidly, trying to attack the surrounding team members, but the team members, with their agility and close coordination, successfully avoided the sand beast's attacks time and time again, making it miss repeatedly.
Throughout the intense battle with the Sand Beast, Lin Yu never dared to take his eyes off it, meticulously observing its every move, trying to find a flaw in its seemingly impenetrable defense. Finally, he discovered that each time the Sand Beast turned, a tiny gap would briefly appear between the scales on its abdomen, suggesting a relatively weak spot in its defenses. "Watch out! There's a gap in the Sand Beast's abdomen when it turns. We need to find a way to attack there!" Lin Yu shouted to his team members as he nimbly dodged the Sand Beast's attacks, his voice echoing throughout the maze, delivering crucial information to them.
However, it was not easy to get close to the belly of the sand beast. The sand beast seemed to have noticed this weakness of its own and became extremely cautious when turning around, while strengthening the protection of its belly. Its huge body was like an airtight fortress, making it difficult for the team members to find an opportunity to attack. But Lin Yu did not give up. His brain was working at a fast pace, constantly thinking about countermeasures. Suddenly, he had an idea, and a bold plan took shape in his mind. He shouted to the team members: "Let's pretend to attack from different directions, lure it to turn around, and then concentrate on attacking its belly!"
Without hesitation, the team members followed Lin Yu's plan. They divided into several groups and cautiously approached the sand beast from different directions, each one poised to attack. The sand beast was fooled. A flicker of alarm and anger flashed in its eyes, and it continuously turned its massive body, attempting to counter the threat from all directions. Just as the sand beast turned, Lin Yu saw the opportunity and shouted, "Now, attack its belly!" The team members quickly hurled their weapons at the gap in the sand beast's abdomen. In an instant, a variety of weapons flew towards the sand beast's belly like meteors.
A dagger successfully penetrated the gap in the sand beast's abdomen, and the sand beast let out a painful roar filled with anger and unwillingness. Its body trembled violently as if struck by electricity, and the surrounding ground trembled with it. Seeing this, Lin Yu seized this rare opportunity and shouted to the team members, "Keep attacking! Don't give it a chance to breathe!" Hearing the order, the team members bravely rushed forward. Some brandished swords and stabbed the sand beast's abdomen with force, while others used knives to slash at the wound. More wounds gradually appeared on the sand beast's abdomen, and bright red blood gushed out like a fountain, quickly staining the sand red and appearing particularly glaring in the dim light.
