Chapter 354: Solving the Problem of Survival, the Secret Key Appears

Solve the problem and survive, the key is revealed

Like a cheetah locked onto its prey, Lin Yu stared intently at the intricate puzzle on the screen, his eyes filled with a determination to achieve his goal. His brain was working at high speed, like an overloaded precision instrument, trying to unearth the hidden patterns within those seemingly chaotic lines and symbols. His eyes darted back and forth across the screen, not missing a single tiny detail. His forehead was already covered in dense beads of sweat. The large beads of sweat slowly slid down his cheeks, dripping onto the ground and disappearing instantly, as if swallowed by the gloomy environment. The team members gathered tightly around him, not daring to breathe. The tense atmosphere was like an invisible net, enveloping them tightly. Their eyes were filled with expectation and worry. They hoped that Lin Yu could solve this life-or-death puzzle, but they were also worried that if he couldn't, they would all die.

"This puzzle may seem disorganized, but there must be some pattern." Lin Yu gritted his teeth, muttering to himself as he frantically searched his mind for the various symbols and puzzles he had encountered in his previous adventures. He felt like a walker groping in the dark, desperately searching for a glimmer of light. Suddenly, a flash of inspiration struck him. He remembered seeing similar line patterns in the crystal disc's information flow, and those lines seemed inextricably linked to the alignment of the stars.

"Everyone, help me think, are there any similarities between the star maps we encountered before and this puzzle?" Lin Yu asked anxiously, his voice trembling slightly with nervousness. Upon hearing this, the team members fell into deep thought, searching their memories for relevant images.

"Captain, I remember we saw a mural in a cave. The arrangement of the stars on it seemed to be somewhat similar to the lines here." A team member's eyes suddenly lit up and he said loudly.

Lin Yu's heart suddenly burst with joy, as if he had grabbed a life-saving straw in the darkness, and he quickly asked: "Tell me quickly, what kind of arrangement is it?"

The team member frowned, trying to recall the scene, and slowly said, "The stars formed a circle, with some lines connecting them, as if representing some kind of trajectory."

After hearing this, Lin Yu eagerly cast his gaze once again at the puzzle on the screen. He discovered that while the lines were as complex as a tangled mess, upon closer inspection, they seemed to circulate around a central point, forming a circular outline. A bold speculation welled up in his mind: Could these lines be simulating the movement of the stars?

"I seem to have some idea. These lines may represent the movement of the stars, and we have to connect them in a certain order." Lin Yu said, with a hint of excitement in his voice, but more of caution. After all, this was just his speculation, and whether he could solve the mystery was still unknown.

But what was the exact order? Lin Yu fell into deep thought again, his brow furrowed like the Chinese character "川". Suddenly, his eyes were drawn to some symbols in the puzzle. These symbols bore a resemblance to the timekeeping symbols they had seen on the walls of the stone chamber. A flash of lightning struck him. Could this order be related to time?

"Think about it again, are the timekeeping symbols on the wall of the stone chamber related to the symbols here?" Lin Yu asked anxiously, his eyes full of anticipation.

The team members began racking their brains to recall the time. Suddenly, another team member slapped his head and said, "Captain, I remember now. Those time symbols seem to be arranged according to the hours of the day."

Lin Yu suddenly realized something, and his belief in his theory grew stronger. The lines in the puzzle should connect according to the order of the hours. He took a deep breath, suppressing his inner nervousness and excitement. He reached out and began connecting the lines on the screen according to his theory. His hand trembled slightly, and each time he connected a line, it felt like he was playing a thrilling game with fate.

As he connected the last line, the light curtain suddenly blazed with a dazzling light, as dazzling as the sun, instantly illuminating the entire dark space. Then, like a dream, the puzzle vanished. A stone platform slowly rose from the altar, upon which rested a key radiating golden light. That light, like a beacon of hope, was the key they had so desperately sought.

"Found it!" the team members shouted excitedly, their voices filled with the joy of surviving a disaster. However, before they could fully enjoy this fleeting joy, the surrounding black liquid, as if enraged by some force, began to surge towards them with even greater frenzy, several times faster than before and over a wider area, like a vast black ocean, threatening to swallow them completely.

"No, we have to get out of here!" Lin Yu's face suddenly changed, and he shouted loudly. He picked up the key without hesitation and led the team members to run desperately in the direction away from the black liquid. The black liquid was chasing them closely, and wherever it went, the sand was quickly devoured, making a "sizzling" sound, like the whisper of death. The team members ran desperately, their legs felt heavy as if they were filled with lead, and their physical strength was close to the limit. But the desire to survive made them dare not stop for a moment, because they knew that if they stopped, they would be submerged by the black liquid and there would be no return.

Suddenly, a stone wall appeared in front of them, like a huge monster, blocking their way. Lin Yu's heart sank suddenly, and a feeling of despair instantly surged in his heart. Is there really no way for them to escape? Just as he felt despair, his eyes swept across a keyhole in the stone wall. The size of the key in his hand was exactly the same.

Lin Yu didn't have time to think. An instinctive desire to survive drove him to insert the key into the keyhole. The stone wall slowly opened, revealing a passage filled with a mysterious atmosphere, leading to an unknown destination. As if grasping at a last resort, the team members rushed into the passage. As soon as Lin Yu entered, he immediately turned and pulled out the key. The stone wall quickly closed, and the black liquid hit it with a fierce "hissing" sound, but they could not move forward.

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief, as if they had snatched back their lives from the clutches of death, and collapsed to the ground. Their chests heaved violently as they gasped for air, trying to release the fear and exhaustion they had felt along the way. However, before they could rest for long, heavy footsteps suddenly echoed through the passage. The sound echoed like thunder, as if something enormous was slowly approaching. Each footstep felt like a heavy stomp on their hearts, instantly tightening their nerves, which had just relaxed.

Can Lin Yu and his team escape danger once again? What will emerge from the passage? What challenges will they face in their search for the remaining keys? Everything remains uncertain, but Lin Yu and his team's adventure continues. The gears of fate begin to turn once again, and even more unknown dangers and challenges await them. They are like ships sailing in darkness, in a vast, uncharted ocean, vulnerable to storms at any moment. Only with unwavering faith and a strong will can they continue on this perilous journey and uncover the truth hidden behind the thick fog.
