Escaping danger, mysterious space
Under the fierce impact of the energy beam, the humanoid creature roared in agony, a desperate wail like a cry from the depths of hell, shaking the walls of the tunnel as if ready to collapse at any moment. Its body trembled violently as if struck by lightning, and its black scales, once as hard as iron, now peeled away like shattered tiles. Each falling scale was accompanied by a sickening odor that filled the entire tunnel. Seeing this, Lin Yu couldn't help but feel a spark of hope. He felt that the dawn of victory was just around the corner, so he shouted at the top of his voice: "Everyone, attack now!" The voice was filled with power and determination, like a battle horn, echoing in the tunnel for a long time.
Upon hearing this, the team members' eyes, dimmed by fatigue and fear, instantly rekindled their fighting spirit. Gritting their teeth, they ignored their utter exhaustion and brandished their weapons, charging at the humanoid like tigers once again. At this moment, their only conviction was to seize this rare opportunity and utterly defeat the terrifying monster before them. The black panther, unwilling to be outdone, erupted with tenacious strength, struggling to its feet and joining the fray. Its eyes gleamed with a fierce and determined glint, like two blazing fireballs, fixed its gaze on the humanoid, ready to deliver a fatal blow.
Lin Yu, sword in hand, charged the humanoid like a flash of black lightning. Gathering all his strength in his arms, he roared and thrust his sword fiercely into the humanoid's chest. The sword's blade collided with the scales, sending up a shower of dazzling sparks and a dull thud. Meanwhile, the other team members, coming from different directions, thrust their weapons at various parts of the humanoid. Some slashed at its arms with long knives, while others stabbed its abdomen with spears. The black panther, with its agility, nimbly weaved around the humanoid, seeking opportunities to strike its legs, each pounce and bite carrying a fierce momentum.
Yet, despite suffering heavy damage, the humanoid's tenacious will to survive and its immense vitality allowed it to continue its fight. It roared with fury, brandishing its razor-sharp claws like a frantic killing machine, attempting to repel the group. Wherever its claws touched, the air ripped and shrieked. One of the team members, unable to dodge, was struck in the shoulder by the claws, sending him flying like a kite with its string cut. He fell heavily to the ground with a grunt of pain. Lin Yu caught a glimpse of this scene from the corner of his eye, his heart aching with anxiety, as if an invisible hand were clutching his heart. He shouted, "Hold on! We'll defeat it soon!" At the same time, with all his strength, he plunged his sword deep into the humanoid's body once more, then swiftly withdrew it, drawing out a stream of black blood, thick as ink and emitting a pungent stench.
Under the combined assault of the crowd and the black panther, the humanoid creature gradually lost its ability to resist. Its movements grew increasingly sluggish, each swipe of its claws seeming feeble. Wounds multiplied, and black blood gushed out, staining the floor of the passage an eerie black. Finally, it let out a faint, desperate roar, as if announcing its defeat to the world. Then, its massive body collapsed to the ground with a thunderous thud, like a landslide. The ground in the passage trembled violently, sending up a cloud of dust.
Everyone collapsed to the ground, gasping for air as a wave of relief washed over them. Their chests heaved violently, their clothes soaked with sweat, mingling with the blood on their bodies, leaving them looking utterly miserable. Lin Yu gazed at the fallen humanoid, a flood of emotion welling up in his heart. Recalling the thrilling battle just now, he knew that his victory over it was a stroke of luck. If it weren't for the mysterious symbols they'd discovered earlier in the cave, and the blue crystals adorning the walls of the passage, they would have perished long ago, becoming a fleeting wisp of souls trapped in this dark passage.
After a long rest, Lin Yu slowly stood up, dusted himself off, and looked toward the front of the passage. At this moment, the wall at the end of the passage, as if sensing something, slowly opened with a dull sound. Behind the wall, a space emitting a soft glow, like the morning sun, was revealed. That light gave people a warm and mysterious feeling. Lin Yu and his teammates exchanged a glance, their eyes filled with curiosity and vigilance. What exactly was hidden in this mysterious space? Was it an opportunity or a greater danger? They didn't know, but with no way out, they could only cautiously move forward.
The moment they stepped into the space, they felt as if they had entered a dreamlike wonderland. The surrounding walls were composed of a transparent crystal, radiating a myriad of colors, resembling the interweaving of countless shimmering gems, a breathtaking display of beauty. Light refracted and reflected between the crystals, creating a dreamlike tapestry of light and shadow, transporting them to a fairytale world. On the ground grew a variety of exotic plants, their shapes varied. Some resembled blossoming flowers, shimmering with light; others resembled twisting vines, emitting a delicate fragrance. Illuminated by the light, these plants seemed dreamlike, as if each one held a mysterious power.
In the center of the space, a stone platform, crafted from a simple, ancient stone, exudes a rich, historical atmosphere. Atop the platform sits a box radiating golden light, as dazzling as the sun, drawing everyone's attention. The box's surface is intricately carved with patterns, seemingly telling an ancient story.
