Chapter 364: Bravely Entering the Thunder Palace and Finally Obtaining the Key

Bravely enter the Thunder Palace and finally get the key

Faced with this earth-shattering, thunderous warning, Lin Yu and his team members' hearts instantly leaped into their throats, but there was no sign of retreat in their eyes. Lin Yu looked up, gazing directly at the sky, dark clouds and thunderous flashes. Beads of sweat rolled down his forehead, but were instantly dried by the fierce wind. At this moment, his mind was like a high-speed precision instrument, rapidly calculating a response. He knew better than anyone that retreat would be tantamount to wasting all his efforts. Only by summoning courage and forging ahead could he have a chance of finding the essence of thunder and completing this difficult and uncertain mission.

"Don't panic, everyone. Although these lightning strikes are extremely powerful, there should be certain patterns. Let's observe first and see if we can find a safe opportunity to enter." Lin Yu shouted loudly. Although his voice seemed so small in the deafening thunder, it revealed an unquestionable firmness, like a bright light in the darkness, bringing confidence and strength to the team members.

The team members nodded vigorously and quickly hid behind a huge rock, too nervous to breathe, their eyes fixed on the lightning flashing in the sky like wild snakes. Each lightning strike was accompanied by a thunder that hurt the eardrums, as if it would shake the entire world to pieces. The earth trembled violently under this roar, as if an abyss would open up at any moment to swallow them all.

After observing attentively for a long time, Lin Yu finally discovered some clues: the lightning would pause briefly every once in a while. Although the interval was extremely short and fleeting, if they seized the opportunity, it would be enough for them to rush to the gate with all their strength.

"When the lightning stops, we'll charge forward. Everyone, follow me!" Lin Yu shouted at the top of his lungs, never taking his eyes off the sky, constantly prepared for that fateful moment. The team members took a deep breath, gripping their weapons tightly, their knuckles white from the strain, their hearts pounding in their chests as if they were about to burst. They knew this was a life-or-death challenge, with no room for error.

Finally, the lightning in the sky paused for a moment, like a resting beast. Lin Yu shouted, "Charge!" and rushed towards the gate like an arrow. The team members followed without hesitation, running desperately across the lightning-scorched ground, their ears filled with the roar of thunder and the sharp whistling of lightning that cut through the air.

Just as they were about to reach the gate, a bolt of lightning, as thick as an arm, suddenly struck them like a raging dragon. Lin Yu caught a glimpse of the fatal blow from the corner of his eye, and his heart skipped a beat. He shouted at the top of his lungs, "Get out of the way!" The team members scattered like startled birds. The lightning whizzed past them, and with a loud boom, it left a massive, smoking crater on the ground. A pungent, burning smell instantly filled the air.

Lin Yu looked at the shocking charred pit, a wave of fear welling up in his heart, as if death had just brushed past him. But he knew he couldn't hesitate at this moment, or all his efforts would be wasted. So, he mustered his courage once more and shouted, "Keep charging!" Encouraged by him, the others suppressed their fear, mustered their courage once more, and continued their sprint toward the gate. Finally, they made it to the gate.

Lin Yu took a breath and reached out to push the door hard, but it didn't budge at all, like a towering mountain, indestructible. He frowned and looked carefully, discovering a groove in the door. The shape of the groove was surprisingly similar to the Flame Crystal and Ice Core they had obtained through so much hardship.

"It seems I need to place the Flame Crystal and the Ice Core into the grooves to open the gate," Lin Yu said as he carefully removed the two crystals from his pocket. His hands trembled slightly, both from the thrilling scene just now and from the unknown world beyond the gate. He took a deep breath and slowly placed the two crystals into the grooves. As soon as they were placed, the crystals, like awakened spirits, emitted a dazzling light, echoing with the patterns on the gate. As the light flickered, it seemed as if a mysterious conversation was taking place. Then, the gate slowly opened with a low roar, and a powerful force of thunder and lightning surged out from the gate like a surging tide, instantly filling the air with the pungent smell of ozone.

Lin Yu and his teammates quickly took protective measures. They covered their heads tightly and tried to lower their center of gravity to resist this powerful force. After the power of the lightning weakened slightly, they looked at each other, their eyes filled with determination, and then slowly stepped into the Thunder Hall.

A faint electric glow permeated the hall, like a mysterious veil, shrouding the entire space in a strange atmosphere. The walls and floor shimmered with lightning, like countless tiny stars twinkling, making one feel as if they were in a dreamy yet dangerous world of electricity. With every step, one could feel the current surging beneath their feet, making a subtle "sizzling" sound.

In the center of the hall stood a massive stone platform, crafted from a strange black stone, its surface gleaming with mysterious runes. Atop the platform sat a box emitting a dreamy, purplish glow, as if beckoning the group. The Marrow of Thunder must lie quietly within this box. However, as they cautiously approached the platform, a group of humanoid creatures formed from lightning appeared without warning. They were towering, their bodies swirling with crackling electricity. Wielding weapons fashioned from concentrated lightning, they exuded a chilling aura. They emitted bursts of electric sound, a warning, a threat, a warning to stay away.
