Chapter 47: Dawn of Victory

Dawn of Victory

Under the desperate attacks of the crowd, the beast's movements gradually slowed. Its once mighty and powerful frame now seemed shaky. Each attack lost its sharpness, instead carrying a sense of weakness and powerlessness. Its injured eye had also made its attacks less accurate. Its massive claws swung haphazardly, but only scraped through the air in vain.

"Everyone, hurry up! It's almost gone!" Lin Yu shouted, his voice tinged with excitement and exhaustion. His throat was hoarse from the prolonged shouting, but he didn't care at the moment. A glimmer of hope shone in his eyes, as if he saw victory within reach. "We've persevered until now. We can't give up now!" His heart was filled with determination, every cell in his body burning for the final victory.

Suna gasped, "We absolutely cannot give it another chance to strike back!" Her face was smeared with sweat and blood, her hair plastered to her face. But her eyes remained resolute, filled with a desire to survive and a determination to win. "We must defeat it completely. We cannot allow it to harm us again!" She mentally encouraged herself, fighting off the extreme exhaustion, and raised her weapon once more.

Old Chen gritted his teeth and, once again, mustered all his strength, hurling his weapon down upon the beast. His arms trembled from the exertion, but his eyes held no sign of retreat. "Die, beast!" he roared, as if releasing all the fear and rage in his heart with this single blow. Horrifying scenes flashed through his mind, but he knew that only by defeating the beast could he end this nightmare.

The beast roared one last time, but it was weak. The sound was no longer filled with majesty and terror, but instead carried a sense of despair and unwillingness. Its body trembled as it tried to make a final struggle, but it was already too late to reverse its defeat.

Lin Yu seized the opportunity, leaped up, and plunged the blade straight into the beast's neck. At that moment, time seemed to freeze, and he had only one thought in his mind: end this. The blade sank deep into the beast's body, and blood gushed out, splashing all over Lin Yu.

The massive beast collapsed with a crash, raising a cloud of dust that spread throughout the air, as if marking a tragic end to this fierce battle.

Everyone collapsed to the ground, gasping for breath, but smiles of triumph appeared on their faces. Their bodies had been pushed to their limits, every muscle ached, every bone felt like it was about to fall apart. But at this moment, their hearts were filled with joy and relief.

"We did it! We defeated this terrifying creature!" one team member shouted excitedly. His voice trembled with excitement, and tears welled up in his eyes. "I thought we were all going to die here, but I didn't expect we'd actually succeed!" His heart was filled with emotion at having survived and gratitude to his teammates.

"But we can't relax yet. We don't know if there are other dangers in this forest," Lin Yu warned. Despite his extreme fatigue, his mind remained clear. "We can't let our guard down. We must remain vigilant." He glanced at each of his teammates, hoping they understood the dire situation.

Everyone nodded and forced themselves to stand up. Although their bodies were weak, their eyes were full of determination.

At this moment, they heard the sound of a helicopter in the distance. The sound came closer and closer, like the sound of nature.

"It's rescue! We're saved!" Suna's eyes welled with excitement. She covered her mouth with her hands, unable to believe this sudden burst of hope. "Finally, it's finally here!" Her heart was filled with joy and anticipation, and she couldn't wait to fly to the helicopter.

The helicopter landed not far away, and the strong wind stirred up by the propellers blew the surrounding leaves and dust into the air. The team members supported each other and walked towards the helicopter. Every step seemed so difficult, but full of hope.

As they boarded the helicopter and watched the forest disappear into the distance, they were filled with emotion. That forest had once been their nightmare, but now it had become a special experience in their lives.

"I'll never forget this experience," Old Chen said. His gaze remained fixed on the forest, recalling every thrilling moment. "I never thought I could survive such a desperate situation," he said, his voice tinged with emotion and awe.

Lin Yu stared out the window. "But we all made it out alive, and that's what matters most." His eyes were filled with determination and anticipation for the future. "This experience will make us stronger. No matter what difficulties we face in the future, we will never give up easily." His heart was filled with cherishment for life and longing for the future.

The helicopter flew toward the sunlight, carrying them away from this nightmarish forest. The sunlight shone on their faces, warm and gentle, as if welcoming them to a new life. They knew this was a turning point in their lives, and from now on, they would face all challenges with greater courage...
