"Who are you? Why are you doing this?" Lin Yu shouted loudly, trying to remain calm in this terrifying atmosphere, while also hoping to get some clues from the other party's response.
However, the only answer he received was a chilling whisper and an even stronger, chilling wind. Ye Li suddenly had an idea, and she quickly pulled out a faintly glowing crystal ball from her backpack. This was the tool she used to detect mysterious powers, and in the darkness, the crystal ball's light was particularly eye-catching.
"This crystal ball can detect the location of the vengeful spirit. Everyone, follow me," Ye Li said. Guided by the light of the crystal ball, they cautiously moved toward a corner of the room. As they approached, the whispers became clearer, and the crystal ball's light began to flicker violently, indicating that the vengeful spirit was nearby.
Suddenly, the vengeful spirit reappeared before them, her body becoming more translucent, as if it would dissipate into thin air at any moment. But the resentment in her eyes grew ever more intense, a chilling feeling. She stretched out her hands, grasping at Ye Li. Unable to dodge, the vengeful spirit's hand touched her shoulder, sending a piercing chill through her body. Ye Li couldn't help but let out a painful groan.
"Ye Li!" Lin Yu and Zhao Yang shouted at the same time. Lin Yu quickly drew his weapon and slashed at the vengeful spirit. However, the weapon passed through the vengeful spirit's body without causing any harm to her.
"Ordinary attacks won't work on her. We have to think of another way!" Lin Yu said anxiously. At this moment, his heart was filled with anxiety and helplessness. He looked at Ye Li in pain, but he was powerless to do anything.
At this moment, Zhao Yang suddenly remembered the black energy used by the mysterious person in the cave. "Maybe we can find a similar energy source to the mysterious person and use the same power to fight her!" Zhao Yang said.
Lin Yu's heart moved, and he said, "That makes sense! Ye Li, do you have any tools that can detect that kind of black energy?"

When they arrived at the old well, they found a faint black mist surrounding the wellhead. Distorted human faces emerged from the mist, emitting painful howls. This scene was very similar to the black smoke surrounding the mysterious figure in the cave. It seemed that this was another source of mysterious power.
"There's definitely something wrong with this well. Perhaps we can find the key to fighting the evil spirits and solving the mystery here," Lin Yu said. However, at this moment, he was filled with worry, wondering what kind of terrifying secrets were hidden in this well.
Just as they were about to explore the old well further, the vengeful spirit pursued them again. Her body grew more solid, and her eyes gleamed with hatred. She opened her mouth and let out a deafening roar. The air around them instantly turned bone-chilling, and a thick layer of frost began to form on the ground.
"There's no time left. We must find a way to deal with her immediately!" Lin Yu shouted. He looked at the black mist rising from the wellhead and suddenly had an idea. "Perhaps we can use this black mist to fight the vengeful spirit!" Lin Yu said.
Ye Li quickly took out a special container from her backpack and tried to collect some of the black mist. However, when the container got close to the mist, the mist seemed to avoid it consciously.
"These mists seem unwilling to be collected. What should we do?" Ye Li said anxiously.
Just then, Zhao Yang spotted a large rock not far away. He ran over and pushed it toward the wellhead. The rock fell into the well, creating a splash and dispersing some of the black mist. Ye Li used this opportunity to successfully collect some of the black mist.
After entering the container, the black mist began to churn violently, as if resisting being imprisoned. Ye Li quickly sealed the container and then, following mystical methods, attempted to guide the energy within the mist. With her efforts, the black mist within the container gradually calmed down and emitted a strange glow.
"I seem to have successfully controlled some of the energy. Perhaps I can use it to deal with the vengeful spirit!" Ye Li said. She picked up the container and walked towards the vengeful spirit. The vengeful spirit seemed to sense danger, roared, and pounced on Ye Li.
Ye Li quickly opened the container and released the black mist. The mist formed a huge shield in the air, blocking the attack of the vengeful spirit. The moment the vengeful spirit's body came into contact with the shield, it let out a piercing scream, and her body began to blur, as if it had suffered great damage.
"Now, let's attack her together!" Lin Yu shouted. The three of them rushed towards the vengeful spirit simultaneously. Lin Yu brandished his weapon, Zhao Yang coordinated his attack, and Ye Li continued to channel the energy of the black mist, forming a three-sided pincer attack on the vengeful spirit.
Under their combined attack, the vengeful spirit's body gradually dissipated, eventually turning into a wisp of green smoke and disappearing into the air. The three breathed a sigh of relief, but they knew that the matter was not over yet.
