Survival from the Lost Land
Everyone desperately rushed towards the exit, the faint light at the exit seeming to be their only hope for life. Their footsteps echoed in the narrow passage, accompanied by heavy breathing and heartbeats. Lin Yu was at the front, his eyes firm and determined, with only one thought in his mind: I must rush out!
Just as they were about to reach the exit, a man in black rushed up like a ghost, blocking their way. His figure looked particularly ferocious in the light from the exit, like a messenger from hell.
"You can't escape!" the man in black said fiercely, his voice echoing in the passage, full of threat. He raised his weapon and pointed it at the crowd, his eyes revealing his determination to kill.
Lin Yu glared at him, his fury burning to its core. "Even if we die, we'll get out!" he roared, his voice filled with rage and indomitable will. His hands clenched tightly into fists, his body trembling slightly with anger. "We won't be manipulated by you anymore!" His heart was filled with a desire for freedom and hatred for his enemies.
Everyone mustered their courage once more, their eyes gleaming with determination. "Let's fight!" someone shouted. Together, they launched a final attack on the men in black, like a group of cornered beasts, unleashing astonishing strength.
Suna gritted her teeth, brandished a wooden stick she had found, and attacked the man in black desperately. "I'll show you how powerful I am!" Her eyes were filled with anger and determination.
Although Lao Chen was panting, he still pushed forward and rammed the man in black with his shoulder. "We will not surrender!" he shouted.
After a fierce fight, everyone's clothes were soaked with sweat and their bodies were covered with scars. But their persistence finally paid off, and they finally succeeded in knocking the man in black down. The man in black fell to the ground and groaned.
They rushed out of the tunnel, the blinding sunlight instantly blazing down on their faces. However, outside lay a barren desert, the sun blazing brightly in the sky, the heat unbearable. Endless yellow sand danced in the wind, forming a hazy curtain of sand. Not a single cloud in the sky, only the blazing sun, relentlessly baking the earth.
"What should we do? It's hard for us to survive in the desert," one team member said desperately, his voice filled with helplessness and fear. He gazed at the endless desert, his eyes drained of light. "We just escaped one predicament, only to find ourselves in another." His legs gave way, and he nearly collapsed to the ground.
Suna panted, sweat streaming down her cheeks. "But it's better than being caught by them." Her voice was weak, but still firm. "As long as I'm alive, there's hope." She raised her head and looked into the distance, trying to remain optimistic.
Old Chen gazed into the distance, his eyes revealing a hint of determination. "Everyone, cheer up! Let's first look for a source of water." His voice was steady and powerful, trying to bring a glimmer of hope. "We can't give up like this. We've been through so much together. We can definitely get through this." He took a deep breath, swallowing back the fatigue and pain.
So, dragging their exhausted bodies, they trudged forward through the desert. Every step seemed to exhaust all their strength. The sand beneath their feet was so hot that it seemed to burn their soles. The strong winds constantly blew dust into their faces, making it difficult for them to open their eyes.
After walking for a long time, everyone was almost exhausted, and still found no sign of water. Their lips were chapped and their throats were so dry that they almost smoked.
"I can't walk anymore..." Someone slumped to the ground, no longer able to stand. His eyes were empty as he gazed at the vast desert, his heart filled with despair. "Are we going to die here?" he muttered.
At this moment, Lin Yu discovered that there seemed to be a dilapidated hut in the distance. The hut was looming in the wind and sand, like an illusory phantom.
"Everyone, look, there seems to be a house over there. Maybe we can be saved!" Lin Yu shouted excitedly, his voice becoming a little hoarse with excitement. A spark of hope rekindled in his eyes, as if he saw a ray of light in the darkness.
When everyone heard his shout, they all raised their heads and looked in the direction he pointed.
"Really? That's great!" someone said weakly.
Hope rekindled, and everyone supported each other as they trudged forward towards the hut. Every step was filled with hardship, but the hut became their faith, sustaining them as they continued on their journey.
