A Bright Future
Just as everyone was in despair, Lin Yu's eyes searched the cliff edge eagerly, as if looking for a faint ray of light in the darkness. Suddenly, his eyes fixed on a place where there were some protruding rocks on the cliff edge, arranged in uneven shapes, like a ray of hope left by nature in this desperate situation.
"Everyone, look! This might be our only way out!" Lin Yu shouted, his voice echoing across the empty cliff edge, filled with a hint of urgency and hope. His eyes sparkled with excitement, as if he saw hope for survival.
Old Chen glanced in the direction Lin Yu pointed, his brow furrowed, a look of hesitation on his face. "This is too dangerous! If we're not careful, we could be crushed to pieces." His voice trembled, his heart filled with fear and worry. "Do we really want to take this risk?" he asked himself silently, his mind racing with possible dangerous scenarios.
Suna bit her lip, which had turned pale from fear and nervousness. But her eyes revealed a resolute determination. "It's better than waiting here to die. Let's give it a try!" Her voice was trembling, but full of courage. "I don't want to give up like this. I still want to get out alive," she mentally encouraged herself.
Lin Yu took a deep breath, as if he had made up his mind. "I'll go down first, everyone follow me." As he said this, he carefully approached the edge of the cliff, grabbed a protruding rock with both hands, and slowly lowered himself down.
The others followed closely behind, their hearts beating rapidly, as if they were about to jump out of their throats. The wind on the cliff was howling, making their clothes rustle.
Lin Yu was the first to descend the cliff. Every movement he made was cautious, sweat dripping from his forehead. His eyes were fixed on the rocks below, searching for a safe foothold. "Everyone, be careful! Hold on tight!" he shouted to his teammates.
The others also followed Lin Yu's rhythm attentively, moving down step by step.
The monster chased them to the edge of the cliff and roared at them. The sound was like thunder, shaking the surrounding rubble. Its ferocious face looked particularly terrifying above the cliff, and its eyes shot out angry flames.
But it seemed to be afraid of the steep cliff and did not dare to jump down rashly.
Lin Yu and his team climbed down with great difficulty, and every step was full of danger. Suddenly, a rock came loose and one of the team members lost his balance.
"Be careful!" everyone exclaimed in unison, their voices filled with fear and worry.
Fortunately, the team member grabbed a rock just in time to steady himself. His heartbeat raced, and he gasped for air. "I was so scared! I almost fell," he said, his voice trembling with relief at having survived.
Just as they were about to reach the bottom of the cliff, they heard the monster's roar again from above, as if it was trying to find a way to come down.
"Speed up!" Lin Yu shouted, his voice full of anxiety.
Everyone used up their last bit of strength and increased their climbing speed.
Finally, their feet touched solid ground, and everyone collapsed exhausted, gasping for breath in the fresh air.
Finally, they reached the bottom of the cliff and discovered a hidden cave. The entrance was covered by weeds and vines, making it difficult to find without careful observation.
"Let's go in and hide first!" said Lao Chen, with a hint of fatigue in his voice.
They entered the cave, which was filled with a mysterious atmosphere. A faint light flickered on the walls, as if some mysterious mineral was emitting light. There were some strange marks on the ground, and it was unknown what kind of creature left them.
"This place feels weird," Suna said, a hint of fear in her voice.
"I can't care about that anymore, let's hide first." Lin Yu said.
From time to time, a low sound came from the depths of the cave, as if something was breathing.
Everyone's nerves were tense again, and they walked cautiously into the depths of the cave...
