Chapter 86: A New Crisis

New Crisis

After defeating the monster, everyone collapsed to the ground exhausted, gasping for breath. However, before they could catch their breath, they felt the entire cave begin to shake violently. The ground seemed to have transformed into surging waves, heaving and undulating, making it almost impossible to stand.

"What's going on?" a team member asked in horror, his voice trembling, filled with fear of the unknown. He stared at the shaking cave walls with wide eyes, his hands tightly grasping a stone beside him, trying to steady himself.

Lin Yu frowned, a sense of foreboding welling up in his heart. "Oh no! There might be even greater danger." His gaze grew solemn and alert, his mind racing with every possible scenario. "Isn't this all over yet? We just went through a fierce battle. Is there something even more terrifying waiting for us?" His heartbeat quickened, and his breathing became rapid.

Suna glanced around nervously, her eyes filled with helplessness and panic. "Isn't this over yet?" she muttered, a hint of tears in her voice. "I thought we were victorious, why did this happen?" Her body trembled uncontrollably, as if she were in an icy cellar.

At that moment, a dull roar erupted from the depths of the cave. It sounded like rumbling thunder, or the roar of an ancient beast. The sound reverberated through the narrow cavern, making everyone's eardrums buzz. It was as if something enormous was approaching, bringing with it an endless sense of oppression and destruction.

"Everyone, be careful!" Old Chen shouted, his voice resounding and urgent amid the clamor. His expression was stern, his gaze sharp, and he gripped his weapon tightly, ready to face the impending danger. "Stay alert, don't panic!" His heartbeat was like a drum, each beat tinged with tension and anxiety.

The ground shook more and more violently, and small rocks fell from the cave ceiling, raining down on everyone. Some rocks hit the ground, splashing dust; others grazed the team members' bodies, causing a stinging pain.

Lin Yu looked around, his heart pounding. "Find a safe place to hide!" he shouted, his voice filled with undeniable determination. "Hurry, there's no time!" He quickly scanned the surroundings, searching for a place to hide.

Everyone began to search for cover in the chaos, their footsteps sounding chaotic and heavy on the shaking ground. Some team members supported each other and moved forward with difficulty; others fell in panic, but quickly got up and continued moving forward.

"This way!" A team member found a slightly spacious depression and shouted loudly.

Everyone rushed in that direction, crowded together, their hearts filled with fear and anxiety.

"Everyone squeeze in and curl up as much as possible!" Lin Yu commanded everyone, while he stood on the outside to protect his teammates.

Suna hugged her knees tightly, her body shaking. "Can we make it through this?" she asked herself silently, tears welling up in her eyes.

Old Chen took a deep breath and tried to calm himself. "Don't be afraid, girls. We can do this." His voice was firm, but his heart was filled with worry.

The unknown danger was getting closer and closer, the roar was getting louder and louder, and the whole cave seemed to be shaking and groaning. A strong airflow rushed in from the depths of the cave, blowing everyone's hair and clothes into a mess.

"What the hell is this?" a team member asked in horror.

"I don't know, but we must be prepared." Lin Yu clenched the weapon in his hand and looked firmly into the depths of the cave.

At this moment, the atmosphere in the cave was extremely tense, and every second seemed like a long torture...
